This historic building is well known for being one of the last historic boarding houses/hotels still standing in Sullivan County. It is now approx. 123 years old. You can read about The Spring House in a book called "Remembering the Sullivan County Catskills" by John Conway and another book "Reminiscence" by J. W. Johnson.
