Voted "One of the 10 most romantic inns in the U.S." - USA Today and Sunset Magazine. Hacienda del Sol offers Taos charm at its best: individually themed rooms furnished in décor unique to the Southwest region. Hearty home-cooked breakfasts and afternoon sweets are served daily. Set on 1.2 acres with courtyards surrounded by lilacs, towering cottonwoods, elms, willows and blue spruce marvel at the magnificent views of the spiritual Taos Mountain. The traditional adobes date back to 1804 and are a part of Taos' artistic history. It was owned by legendary art patroness, Mabel Dodge Luhan, and housed such notables as D.H. Lawrence, Georgia O'Keeffe and Willa Cather.

A charming and gorgeous B&B, certainly hope to return. Our room provided a view of the mountain and courtyard; delicious breakfast and friendly hosts. Will certainly recommend it to others. A central location with many restaurants and museums close by.

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms very appropriately decorated. The hosts were particularly knowledgable and helpful. If you are up for an adventure ask the hosts about Manby Hot Springs (at the end of Tune Road) in the Rio Grande Gourge.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hacienda Del Sol B&B. We came up for a weekend getaway and to share a wonderful wedding experience with our friends at The Love Apple just next door to the B&B. What a wonderful experience! The room was AMAZING and had the cutest, smallest, entry door that opened into a beautifully decorated Mabel's Salon room. Past that the food was GREAT and everyone was so friendly! We highly recommend it and we will be back for another fantastic stay! Thank you! Gloria
