    Innkeeper Information

    Innkeepers Description:

Anyone who has enjoyed staying at a Bed & Breakfast has had at least a small thought about what it would be like to run such a business. For us, coming from the competitive and hectic world of corporate America, the decision to "go for it" was one that would forever change the course of our lives. As small business owners we would be able to create a home-away-from-home complete with our favorite foods and creature comforts for guests from all over the world.

Casa Cuma is an incredible B&B. Nothing is held back. Accomodations were spotless and decorated with lovely regional art objects. Breakfasts are of gourmet quality and the size of the portions were so large that we were able to skip lunch. Breakfast eggs came from their very own chickens -- one cannot get "fresher" than that! Complimentary coffee, tea, energy bars, bottled water and cookies were always available. They even had discount passes for local museums! Most endearing of all were the personality of the innkeepers -- Colleen and Shaan. Their warmth, genuine friendliness and desire for us to maximize our Santa Fe experience was astonishing. They provided easy-to-follow walking maps of Santa Fe and loaned us a CD for a "guided" scenic car ride to Taos. Their recommendations for restaurants and galleries were bang-on. I cannot recommend this B&B high enough. It is utterly sublime.

Colleeen and Shaan were gracious hosts. By the end of our stay we thought we were family. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful decor. It's proximity to the museums and sites was great ! J & L - Exton, PA

This is one of the best B&Bs in Santa Fe. The innkeepers are just the nicest folks you will ever meet and you can tell this is a labor of love for them. The rooms are nice, clean and well appointed and the breakfasts are incredible! Just a short walk to the Plaza, Canyon Road and some of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. You won't be disappointed.

We knew from the beginning.....after walking through the front doors, Shaan, one of the two owners, greeted us personally by first name!. (we had never been there before) he led us to our room, explained any nuances, and gave us detailed list/map of bars/restaurants in downtown SF. He explained when brekfast would be served the following morning, and how we could get coffee/tea earlier than that if desired. Breakfast was delicious, served in a dining room with a bright, crackling fire buring. Guests who stay in warmer weather should eat on the beautiful pation with the hummingbirds! All in all: PERFECT!!
