Casa Cuma B&B is located on a hill in downtown Santa Fe, only 4 blocks, a 5 to 10-minute walk to the historic Santa Fe Plaza. The February 19, 2007 edition of Newsweek Magazine picked Casa Cuma B&B as one of three top “Desert Paradises” in the US and the only one in New Mexico.

All the rooms are decorated with regional textiles, antiques and artwork. Down Comforters, luxious bedding, featherbeds. Quiet residential neighborhood. Mountain views. Each of the rooms has a private bath.

    From Interstate 25, take exit #284/OLD PECOS TRAIL. Turn NORTH onto OLD PECOS TRAIL towards the Plaza. Go 1.4 miles. You will go through 2 lights.

    Turn RIGHT at the 3rd light toward the Plaza and the Downtown. Go 2 miles. You will go through 3 lights.

    Turn RIGHT at the 4th light on PASEO DE PERALTA. Go 1.1 miles. The road will curve to the left. You will go through 3 lights.

    Turn RIGHT at the 4th light on OLD TAOS HWY, go only a short block.

    Turn LEFT on Paseo de LA CUMA. The street sign will say LA CUMA. 105 Paseo de la Cuma is the 2nd house on your RIGHT.

    DIRECTIONS TO THE B&B FROM THE NORTH

    From the North, please take US 84/285. Please take the first exit to the Museums and the Plaza. This exit is from the left lane of the highway, the road is Guadalupe.

    Turn LEFT at 1st light on to PASEO DE PERALTA. Go through one light.

    Turn LEFT at the 2nd light on to OLD TAOS HWY. Go one very short block.

    Turn LEFT on Paseo de LA CUMA. The street sign will say LA CUMA. 105 Paseo de la Cuma is the 2nd house on your RIGHT.

    In addition to the main B&B, we have two beautiful casitas, and another queen room. The Casita at Bishops Lodge Road (6 blocks from the Plaza) has two queen beds, two baths and is a stand alone house with two stories. The Raven's Ridge Casita has a queen bedroom, a living room with a comfortable pull-out sofa sleeper, bath and a kitchen. Across the walkway from the Casita is the Garden Room, which also has a queen bed and private bath. An outdoor hot tub sits in a beautiful garden with a flowing stream that cascades down to an amazing pond filled with fish. These two rooms are 5.25 miles from the plaza, and parking at the main B&B is free and availalble.

      Our delicious, homemade granola will give you a great start for your active day of touring Santa Fe and its surroundings. Filled with nuts and dried fruits, and available all the time, it makes a great snack as well as a satisfying breakfast.

    Breakfast is served inside, next to the crackling fire on cool winter days. The Guest areas include an electric kettle for round the clock hot teas, granola bars, and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water and yogurt. Beautiful music fills the air as you sit in the sunroom contemplating the incredible New Mexico sunset. Fresh brewed coffee or tea sets the stage for our full gourmet breakfasts!
    The luxurious bed in the Chili Pepper room welcomes you home after a long day of sightseeing. Slip into the 600 thread count sheets of pure cotton and snuggle under the down comforter. What better way to spend an evening?The Chili Pepper fireplace can be seen from the luxurious bed and from the jetted tub. What a relaxing, romantic way to spend an evening!
    New Mexican tinwork and brightly painted handcrafted furniture can be found throughout the southwestern style B&B. Santa Fe at its best!When the weather is warm, breakfast is served here on the patio, under the beautiful pine tree. Hummingbirds and many other kind of birds visit the patio throughout the day. The quiet babbling of the fountain soothes you as you sip hot coffee under the shade of the giant pine.
    The bedroom of the Opera Suite has a queen size bed, bathroom with a Mexican tiled shower, a separate sink, a wonderful Vermont Castings electric fireplace and plenty of space for your luggage. Entering the Opera Suite living room is a welcoming experience. The comfy sofa, warm Saltillo tiled floor, sunlight flowing through the windows and the opera themed writing on the walls makes you happy you are here.
    The Zapotec Room: This large, romantic room has a king handcrafted bed, armoire and nightstands, a wood-burning stove, and a private entrance to the patio. The Mexican-tiled bathroom has a tub and shower combination. Grab a good book and curl up in perfect privacy!Original art from local Santa Fe artists and bouquets of fresh flowers fill the B&B. The smell of freshly baked cookies or other baked goodies welcome you home in the afternoon.
    Pour yourself some tea and enjoy a view of our magnificent sunsets, or the Sangre de Cristo Mountains from our patio and deck.Zapotec tiled tub and shower, a great place to start and end a day.
    Native sunflowers peek above the adobe wall at passers-by.
