Our stay at Adobe Nido was everything we had hoped. The innkeepers were flexible, generous, and friendly. The rooms were spacious. There is a beautiful courtyard and a running trail nearby. We would stay again!

We stayed here at the end of our trip. Unfortunately we only booked two days. We would have liked to stay longer. This B&B is located in a residential area. It's amazing what Sarah and Rol have done to take this small piece of property and turn it into an oasis. As soon as we walked through the gate we were welcomed by beautiful landscaping and the soothing sounds of water coming from their water features. Rol had built the B&B part of the property and had really spent time and care on the design. We stayed in the first floor one bedroom with a whirlpool tub in the bathroom. The room was a nice size, but didn't have a lot of room for us to sit. However, right outside our door was a private seating area where we enjoyed relaxing and reading. It's evident that they enjoy being B&B owners. They were so welcoming and before we left, we felt we had made new friends. Our one breakfast was delicious served in their kitchen. We had to leave for the airport early the second morning and were unable to stay for breakfast. Rol packed us some goodies for our flight. The location is excellent - near major streets, a gas station to refuel before heading to the airport, and a nice grocery store. They have three suites - one with two bedrooms and a complete kitchen. But what makes this B&B is the owners - their interest in our comfort, knowledge of the area, and their welcoming personalities. Other B&B's could take lessons from Sarah and Roi.

This was my first B&B experience, and I must say I was not disappointed! The room we stayed in (the Burrowing Owl Nest) was homey and clean and comfortable. Sarah and Rol make a great breakfast (if you're lucky, you'll be there on a morning they make smoothies). And their two dogs make great breakfast companions.
What a great couple! We LOVE introducing new folks to the ways of a B&B. But you must know - these guests were here alone and wanted the dog companions at breakfast. That does not come standard, but rather - only upon "Special Request" and when you are the only breakfast guests. No extra charge! LOL

We love Adobe Nido B&B! My husband and I have stayed there five times and have enjoyed the different rooms very much. We recently stayed in the large suite so we had room for extra family members. The breakfast that Rol prepares never disappoints and Sarah is an absolute delight. We consider Adobe Nido our home away from home.

Our second stay and look forward to future visits. We enjoy the outdoor courtyard; relaxing and beautiful! The breakfast are wonderful; delicious and gracious plenty (ask about the homemade breads). The owners are very accomodating as they supply all the necessaties of home. We especially enjoy the interaction with their guest and their puppies!

This was our first trip to New Mexico and we wanted an authentic experience/stay at an adobe house. The Adobe Nido B&B completely exceeded our expectations: the rooms not only displayed authentic New Mexico culture/style but were comfy and clean. Sarah and Rol, our hosts, were warm and friendly. They recommended things to do/see and cooked delicious breakfast(s) during our stay. The location of the B&B was conveniently located a short drive away from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back if we are ever in New Mexico again!

Beautiful space, large, comfortable, private, and well appointed, including very nice little touches like candles and chocolates by the beds. Very friendly people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We could not have felt more at home at the Adobe Nido! We felt like we were at our own private getaway. The room was cozy & private, and the sauna was a great relaxing treat. Our breakfasts were delicious. Rol & Sarah are delightful and helped us make the most of our stay in Albuquerque.

Rol & Sarah are welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. Their B&B is located on a typical residential block so you aren't exactly nestled in the heart of any local attractions. The bedroom arrangement/decor misses the mark a bit: 9" tube TV, plastic surround for the tub and swinging "saloon doors" for the toilet area - not much in the way of privacy. If you're looking for a luxury room experience, this is not likely for you...
I am sorry that this traveler chose our least expensive room looking for a luxury experience. We never claim to be luxurious, but rather comfortable, relaxing and laid back, and we afford our guests great amenities in all our rooms that no other b&b in town offers. Some hotels offer a different experience that may be defined as more "luxury", but you will pay much more and have a less personal experience. It's all in what you are looking for. All of our rooms have minimalist decor on purpose. Art consists of three framed pieces in each room - some prints, some old magazine covers and some original art. Most guests appreciate this minimum of decor in contrast to a room with many nic-naks and death by doily. All furniture is Mexican Pine in our couples rooms, which is one of the rooms they are referring to here. Also in these rooms, we offer 13" TVs with dvd players, satellite tv and HBO. Our largest room has a 25" TV, and that is the room to choose if tv or video is important to you. I am not understanding why we should be sending perfectly good tv's off to some dump somewhere and replace them with big flat screens when most guests don't hang around to watch tv anyway. Many b&bs don't even have tvs in their rooms, never mind satellite, hbo and ipod dock stereo clocks. Once again - it's all about what you are looking for. The saloon doors into the toilet stall are custom made and unique to this room. Most folks like them and I'm sorry these guests didn't. The jacuzzi tub surround is NOT plastic, but is also custom made from fiberglass - not cheap by any means. I'm so sorry that these people missed their mark when choosing to stay with us, because I strive to give an accurate description in all our advertising. Please use this information to help you decide if we are the right fit for you, remembering that we want you to feel very comfortable, laid back and relaxed during your stay with us. Many of our guests think THAT is luxurious. We are not a foofy b&b.

We stayed a single night when driving from Virginia to California. What a wonderful B&B. Owners are lovely people, very friendly and talkative. Ate breakfast and dinner with them - excellent local foods and recipes. Stayed in the Burrowing Owl's Nest which is stunning. Beautiful room and bathroom. Sauna out back is perfect for two people - bed was very very comfortable and large, we slept like rocks. Would definitely come back as this is one of the top best B&Bs we've experienced.

My Fiance and I took a southwest roadtrip and were looking for a nice B&B to spend our anniversary when we found this lovely place. Rol and Sarah (and their sweet doggies) were very welcoming and laid back, definitely the type of people we wanted to be around after a long road trip. (Gave us bottled water right when we walked in- perfect after a long hot day in New Mexico.) The accommodations were amazing, we stayed in the owl's nest room- very cozy and romantic, with its own door to a back patio and sauna. Our bathtub was a big two-person jacuzzi! The breakfast was really amazing, perfect home cooked food, the omelettes were unbelievable. If you stay there, tell Rol you want to try his omelettes! Basically, we felt like we were visiting a long lost aunt and uncle that made us feel very comfortable and relaxed, while giving us a lot of space to enjoy our time together. Thanks Rol and Sarah!

I traveled to Albuquerque for business frequently and got tired of hotels. So I found this place over 5 years ago. Sarah and Rol have become friends and I feel so at home when I stay there. The court yard is such a great place to relax after a long days work.

A very unique B&B! We would definitely stay here again! Quiet and relaxing. Sarah and Rol were absolutely wonderful, and they know all the great restaurants and nightlife. Great location, too-- everything in the city is 15 minutes away. We would recommend Adobe Nido to anyone who wants to make their stay in Albuquerque extra special.

I was in Albuquerque for a wedding and didn't want to stay at a chain hotel and picked Adobe Nido based upon good reviews and photos online. Its a great place to stay. As you enter the courtyard, it immediately feels like a relaxing and welcoming place, much more personality than a hotel. The birds, the dartboard and the fountains all contribute to this feeling and Sarah and Rol are great hosts - friendly but not intrusive. Even though its laid back, its not like staying in someone's house. My room and the facilities were at the same level of service I'd expect from a well-managed hotel. The room was spotless, well decorated, with cable, a jacuzzi, a sauna, private outdoor seating, etc. The towels were gleaming white and they even provided bathrobes. Its perfectly placed for all the best parts of Albuquerque in a quiet North Valley neighborhood. If I'm back in Abq, I'll stay there again.

Our family of four (including 2 kids 6 &9) enjoyed an extended stay at the Adobe Nido in the Suite for a Flock. We absolutely loved it. The hosts were warm and welcoming without being overbearing. The accomodations were very private and after a couple of days felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend the Abode Nido and will not hesitate to book there in the future.
