We are centrally located in the Hamptons, just a few minutes’ drive from Bridgehampton, Southampton and East Hampton, and a short ride through North Haven to the Shelter Island Ferry. Our proprietor, Barbro Magnusson, was born and raised in Sweden and brings old-world charm and style to every aspect of our B&B. Every morning we serve a full breakfast: on the porch in the summer and in our central dinning area in the cooler months. We offer fresh scones, multi-grain breads, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, along with a great selection of jams and spreads. We have two lovely rooms, each with king-sized beds, private baths, TVs, VCRs, refrigerators and air conditioning. The larger of the two rooms also has a sleep-on couch, very comfy. The guest rooms share a large, comfortable living room and a separate entrance shaded by a huge maple tree. In the back there is a private walled garden with a large swimming pool and a hammock hung under one of the many shade trees that surround the pool. We are situated on a twenty-two acre farm, perfect for jogging or just walking your dog, free from traffic and very quiet and safe. Home-made cookies and dog biscuits are available to all guests. In addition, we have a fully equipped pottery studio on the premises. Anyone wanting to do pottery or have a Raku firing workshop may feel free to make these arrangements with me.
