Chimney Hill Estate Inn

The most darling place to spend a weekend. Everything was exceptional. The only reason we found it was because of groupon. Although everything was great I would not pay full price for the room accomodations. The regular price is high for the rooms. I hope I get another discount of some kine. . I would go back pronto!!

Chimney Hill was cozy and homey! Rich and Terry were so sweet and I cannot imagine better service! I even forgot my fan at home, which I really need to sleep with, and Terry got one from the basement and cleaned every bit of dust out before giving it to me!The breakfast was fantastic too! Not the average or expected usual items! The Alpacas were so cute as well! We had a great time feeding them! The surrounding towns are also lovely! we walked around in New Hope looking at the shops and antique places for hours! We got the this 2 night stay through Groupon, which also included a 50 dollar credit at Anton's and the Swan for dinner one night. The food was to die for! the menu itself was nothing special but every single thing that came out of the kitchen was something to rave about! I Think the only negative comment I have is about the Wifi. At first, I didn't mind the room not having a TV because I knew I would have my computer-- but the wifi was very weak and went in and out so often that it made it near impossible to use the internet comfortably. There were random times when it worked a bit better, but overall we basically just nixed the internet completely and watched a DVD on my laptop instead. Regardless, we had a fabulous 2 night stay and would definitely be interested in going back!

Good value overall. Service and food exceeded expectations. Rooms were very good except for the inconvience of not having the bathroom on the same level as the bedroom. Could have used more clothing storage, it does not lend to longer stays

I was pleased with the service and the accomodations. The breakfast was wonderful. We are vegetarians so they were happy to make us a special breakfast. The grounds are beautiful even in the winter. We enjoyed the alpacas and took lots of pictures. We are certain that we will visit Chimmey Hill again. Next time we will come with more friends and hopefully get the barn. Lovely main house that has so much history and character. Beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. We stayed in one of the barn suites that lacked that charm although it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and the area is great. We would definitely go back.

The Barn Suite 3 was lovely, spacious and cozy.Eric gave a short info tour of the main house, explained things and showed us to our rooms. He was helpful and cordial. Breakfast was delicious: baked apple, quiche, bacon and muffin. I like strong coffee so for me the coffee was weak, only criticism.'The Alpacas were about the strangest animals Ive ever seen. They are happy and well taken care of - a baby was born 7 days earlier. I bought a Living Social coupon, otherwise I would not have been able to spend the full price for one night. With the coupon the value was very good. We also got a bottle of wine, gift certificates to dinner and to the Alpaca store. I would recommend.

Great stay! Rooms clean, staff very friendly, particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and feeding the alpacas. Would recommend Chimney Hill to any friends and family for a weekend getaway.

Chimney Hill did not disappoint us. The front desk staff was extraordinary, especially Eric. There was a little wait at check in, but we were provided with wine and cheese during our wait. Our room was comfortable and clean. The alpacas were cute and added a lot of fun to the visit. The alpaca gift shop offered reasonably priced gifts. Breakfast was delicious. Dining in town was only a $5 cab ride away. We have no complaints and would definitely visit again

My boyfriend and I went to Chimney Hill Estates for a much-needed getaway and we really enjoyed it. It was incredibly relaxing, even with the snow on the weekend! The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. The place is a little on the older side and the ceilings are low so you have to be careful in the Main House. The room was bigger than I anticipated, and our overall stay was lovely.

From the moment you enter the lobby and are greeted, you know this is an establishment that pays attention to detail - from the homemade cookies to the first aid supplies. This was our second stay and won't be our last! The service and breakfast are beyond compare!

we had a lovely weekend getaway - the light snow was unexpected and very romantic, inkeeper and staff were most accomodating and friendly, we particularly enjoyed having wine by the fire with other guests. only one criticism - it was most difficult to adjust the temperature in our room - unfortunately, we were uncomfortably hot.

Everything about the Inn made us feel many miles from our daily routine. Originally thought 1 night would be fine but we're so glad we stayed Fri&Sat. It wasn't easy to leave. Our room was outstanding. And the breakfast, its unlikely that one could find a higher quality one anywhere. Will definitely stay again and have already begun recommending to our friends.

Very Charming inn. Stayed in Barn suite #2 - cozy, comfy, wonderfully quiet. Went in January, so not a lot of people, which is just fine with me. Eric, the innkeeper, was warm and welcoming. The alpacas & llamas were delightful. Didn't expect them to be so much fun (recommend that guests get daily supply of alpaca food). Breakfast was quite nice. The Groupon amenities (wine tasting at Unionville Vineyards & voucher for Antons restaurant) were very generous. Would recommend exploring other options, for example Rick's restaurant, for alternate vouchers their food is excellent. For a two-day, mid-week getaway in winter, this was just right. Thomas & David

We took advantage of a special on LivingSocial that would allow us to stay in any Barn Suite on a Friday or Sunday. Excellent room, excellent service and breakfast. Loved getting a brief tour of the place. This is a great spot for a getaway. There are at least 2 wineries that I know of in the area - they're definitely worth checking out! Very close to New Hope.

Chimney Hill was exactly what I'd always dreamed a B&B was supposed to be. From the moment we pulled up to the beautiful house to when we entered our bedroom, I think I had a smile from cheek-to-cheek. Eric, our innkeeper, was extremely helpful, friendly and funny. Our room was giant and perfect, from the curtains to the artwork to the books, and the bed was something out of a fairytale. The bathroom was immaculate. The eating area was so elegant and our breakfast was delicious. And the alpacas were adorable!! We plan to return and stay for a few more nights now that we know how much we love it and the area where its located. I cant think of a single thing I'd change about it.

We used a groupon getaway for a fabulous stay in Barn Suite #3 at Chimney Hill... It was truly a lovely experience from the minute Eric welcomed us to the estate! He was warm, friendly and professional, and the accommodations were very nice...clean, comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was wonderful too! It was very quiet everywhere, since we were there the first week in January. Thank you, and we hope to see you again!

My wife and I stayed on New Year's Eve 2011-2012. We didn't really mind waiting a while to check in (others were being helped to their rooms), as we relaxed by a welcoming fireplace with ample wine and cheese put out by the staff. Eric (I believe that was his name) was a gracious host and made us feel instantly welcomed, and even showed us a few rooms around the house to which we could get a free upgrade! We chose a room with a tastefully decorated Asian theme (Room 4), which was quaint, charming and clean. The grounds are lovely, the alpacas and llamas are fun to watch, and breakfast was amazing. It's about a 25-minute walk to "town," and another 10 minutes or so to New Hope from there. We walked to town and it was fine, but there is a bit of a hill, so if you're unable to walk long distances, you will need to take a cab (which is not a big deal). Overall, this is one of the best B&B's we've stayed at, and we'll be back!

The Groupon pkg. was a good deal. The BarnSuite we stayed in was a little outdated.

My husband and I spent a night at Chimney Hill Estates 12/16/11. We stayed in Barn Suite 4. It was the perfect overnight getaway! Eric the innkeeper greeted us, explained the property to us and took us up to our room. The accommodations were spotless and cozy. We met Terry the owner at breakfast (which was delicious) and she couldn't have been nicer! Loved the Alpacas, too. Looking forward to going back next year. Anton's at the Swan was excellent for our dinner. We enjoyed the wine tasting at Unionville Winery also. The property was beautiful.

We purchased this weekend getaway trip off groupon and it was the best purchase ever!!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful home that is so comftoable and relaxing! Terry is warm, friendly, sweet, welcoming and helpful. We loved the surrounding town with all the cute shops and had a great time at the unionville vineyard! We have officially made chimney hill our annual weekend getaway from it all! See you next year!

My girlfriend and I stole a weekend away in Lambertsville. We saw the Chimney Hill Estate Inn on Groupon and decided it looked charming, why not give it a try. Well, I have to say that this Inn was THE MOST LOVELY and CHARMING inns I have ever visited in my life. The staff was exceptionally polite and generous--as soon as we checked in, he served us wine and cheese and crackers! Breakfast was delicious, as the owner walked from table to table chatting with everyone. The rooms were cozy and warm --electric fireplace that truly warmed up the room. The bathroom was rather large and all amenites were there (blowdryer included). I cannot say enough about this place. I plan to return next year, perhaps with my husband or maybe just another weekend away with my girlfriend. Don't forget the shopping in Lambertsville can't be beat. We went to flea markets and all the shops and came back home with lots of stuff. LOVED MY WEEKEND! Thanks again to the hosts--you will hear from me again---and again.

We chose this B&B for our wedding night and were very pleased. Our rating is only based on the one night and didn't get up in time for breakfast! The grounds and main house are really beautiful and the room was wonderful. The only issue we ran into was when staying in a loft suite, the loft gets really hot with the fire on. There is a/c and a ceiling fan but the a/c system seemed to want to do its own thing and the system for the loft fan is pretty confusing. Other than that, the bed is vERY comfortable and the bathroom and tub are wonderful. The selling point for us was the staff. They were very accomodating with a late check in and Terry was great with helping us book our room. We'll be back to take advantage of the grounds and what we hear is great food!

We loved Chimney Hill Estate Inn. The inn was charming and we loved the way the history of the Inn has been preserved. Feeding the Llahma and Alpacas was fun too. We stayed in the Garden Room, which was wonderful, lots of room and relaxing. The only negative was that it was very cold overnight. There is a gas fireplace, but we weren't comfortable with having that going all night, so maybe it was our own fault. Eric, the man who greeted us and took care of us was excellent! We enjoyed visiting Peddler's Village and Lambertville too. The "package" we had was a great deal, with a certificate to dinner and also to the winery the next day. This was our first stay in a B&B and we don't know what took us so long to try it. Thanks, Kathy & Bob

My husband and I stayed at the Chimney Hill Estate Inn for our wedding anniversary. The place was beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and the accomodations were fantastic. The perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Our room was much too warm! There was no temperature control, as expected in a home of that age, and our windows would not open, so we were broiling. We were forced to put on the air conditioner, which thankfully had not been removed from the window. The temperature was 78 degrees! We did not sleep well. Breakfast was delicious and the innkeeper was very nice. We purchased our stay through a Living Social coupon offer. I would not have been happy if we'd paid full price.

We were very impressed with Eric. He apparently manages the property and is very very attentive. It is an old B&B but well kept and the Holiday decorations were wonderful I would definitely stay there again.

Me and my partner stayed here for one night and enjoyed it very much. The hospitality by the host was outstanding. We felt at home. The room was very clean. We didn't dine there which is why I said it met my expectations..I didn't know how else to rate it. I thought it was a little pricier than I would have wanted, but it was worth it. Overall I'd recommend it!

This has to be the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at. The accommodations were truly beautiful! We felt very welcomed and felt our hostess would help us in any way she could, as well as the rest of the staff. It is a bit expensive, but very worth it. I will definitely be going back again!

The property is just beautiful as is the main house. Upon our arrival, my boyfriend and I were greeted by Eric, who graciously showed us around the public area of the main house as well as our lovely suite room with a fireplace that, remarkably, heated the whole suite. Thanksgiving morning, we met Terry the owner, who could not have been kinder. She was very thoughtful about dietary restrictions and breakfast was just delicious, and the atmosphere calm and peaceful overall. Wish we had more than one night. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Terry!

My wife and I loved the place, staff, and breakfast. Lambertville is a great town, great shopping, sites of interest and eateries. This is out new escape place.

We recently stayed at the Chimney Hill Estate over the weekend for two nights and had such a great experience. This was the first time my husband and I did a bed and breakfast and absolutely loved it! The staff was amazing and Eric was such a delight and very accommodating. We enjoyed visiting the alpacas and feeding them. We definitely would recommend to try the Chimney Hill Estate and we definitely see us returning someday! Thank you Chimney Hill Estate for making our first experience at a B&B so memorable!

Our stay was very pleasant and the service was wonderful. If there is one criticism it's that the description of the Inn stated that each room had it's own private bath without mentioning that one had to leave the room and cross the hall to the private bath. It was still a great stay.

This is a beautiful place to stay! Eric was very polite, and prepared nice breakfasts for us. We stayed in the barn suite, and it was a very nice, different experience. Nice spacious room, with pretty much everything you need. Linens and pillows could definately use updating, and some lighbulbs need changing. Be sure to be out of your room when housekeeping arrives, as you only get one chance. That being said, if you are looking for a quiet get away, in a lovely setting. This is the place to go. Treat yourself to Antons for dinner, it is excellent.

We stayed just one night in the Tapestry Room, and it was just wonderful!! The staff is very professional and helpful. They accomodated my special diet. We loved visiting the Alpacas and Llamas. Lambertville is a lovely town with wonderful shops. We returned home feeling rested and rejuvenated!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Chimney Hill and it was our first time at a bed and breakfast. It exceeded our expectations of what a bed and breakfast should be. We felt we were treated like superstars by the staff. The room we stayed in was beautiful and upon arrival a bottled of chilled white wine was waiting for us. We were unsure of what to do in the surrounding area but the staff made sure that our days were busy, supplying us with maps of the town and recommendations on where to sightsee and eat. My only complaint is we should have stayed longer. I can't wait to go back. We hope to make it a yearly tradition to visit Chimney Hill.

I hadn't heard of Chimney Hill until I received a Living Social offer for it. I booked our night away the same week I purchased the Living Social deal. It far exceeded my expectations! The room was lovely, the public areas welcoming and the breakfast delicious. I really loved feeding the alpacas and meeting the barn cat! Terry was a warm hostess. The grounds were quiet and relaxing. I would heartily recommend Chimney Hill, and want to go back soon.

The Innkeeper, Eric, made our stay perfect!!! Our room (one of the barn suites) was amazing - elegant and cozy at the same time. The breakfast was fabulous! It was great fun to see the alpacas and feed them! We visited in the Fall, but I'm sure it would be beautiful all year around. Great location close to wineries, antique stores, and the beautiful Delaware River and Canals for walking and biking.

Everything was very pleasant...the area is wonderful, having the alpacas and llamas on site is delightful, the room could be updated a bit (eg: new couch) and the room should have been swept after the open house people had plowed through.

We enjoyed a week day getaway in the Barn Suite. The room was really nice, just kind of difficult to manage the winding staircase to the bathroom at night The service and the food were outstanding! We recently stayed in the Barn suite room of Chimney Hill Estate Inn. The room was amazing. The service was fantastic. There was an attention to detail that I have not found at many other places -- which was much appreciated! We lounged in the Stone Room reading for a couple of hours, enjoying the cookies. It was a fantastic, relaxing getaway.

We just got back from two lovely days at the Chimney Hill Estate Inn. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary and left with some wonderful memories. While not the owner, Eric treated us as if we were his personal guests. He was warm, welcoming, and explained everything to us as we got settled into Barn Suite #4. We really liked our room - great jacuzzi, two televisions (which we didn't watch), two stereos (including one built into the shower for two), a queen-size bed (we sleep in a king which we would have preferred), and a two-sided fireplace. Our room was lovely, but we never could quite heat/cool the room properly or quickly. We fed the llamas and alpacas which was an unique experience. We went to Anton's at the Swan with the gift certificate we were given and had a lovely dinner. There was only one other couple staying at the Inn so we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The grounds are wonderful and peaceful. Last, but not least were the breakfasts. Eric asked us at check-in about allergies and items we didn't like. In the mornings he would review what he was serving and made accommodations for the other couple and included us. The breakfasts were elegant and we left with a few new recipes! All-in-all, it was a fabulous and memorable getaway.

I recently purchased a 2 night stay with Chimney Hill through Living Social. We got there and we met Eric who was wonderful. Courteous, helpful and very pleasant. He gave us a tour and showed us to our room which was awesome. We stayed in Barn Suite #4 which had a Jacuzzi, fireplace and a loft. The room was pretty amazing. Cons of the room: Bed? not so comfortable compared to other B+B's I've stayed in the area. Shower? It was very fancy with all different settings and jets but no pressure. Kind of a waste. We also found a used bar of soap in the shower and food in the fridge. But other than those things it was pretty worth it, esp the fireplace and Jacuzzi which was heavenly. Breakfast was average/good for a B+B. Nothing really gourmet but done really well. Eggs any style, Banana bread, and bananas with yogurt one morning. Next morning it was pumpkin french toast which sounded amazing but fell short cuz it was super sweet and kind've mushy. Also baked apples which was delicious. Overall heres the breakdown. -Beautiful grounds -Amazing sweet staff -Huge amenity filled room -Lacking in food quality -Bed not so comfy but manageable -frustrating shower I will return to Chimney Hill in the future, we had a great time. especially with those adorable Alpacas!

We did not feel the high prices matched the rooms. Rooms were tired, lacked good lighting and had creaky doors which caused us to change rooms. The price did include a nice breakfast and the setting was very pretty. Also, the people were very pleasant. With a little effort the above problems could easily be rectified.

My wife and I visited Chimney Hill for the weekend and had an amazing time. The breakfast was outstanding and the accomodations were quite nice. The smell of fresh baked snacks and the beautiful fireplace had me hooked the moment we stepped into the house. The real charm of the B&B is the Innkeeper Terry and her assistant Erik. Terry not only recommended wonderful restaurants but took the time to make reservations for us. They were extremely helpful and the alpacas were awesome. We can't wait to go back.

This is a return trip for us and we will be back. Next time , though, I'll specify a room where the bathroom is inside the room.

Although we slept thur breakfast both days I must say the property was beautiful and extremely well kept. I love the proximity to downtown Lambertville and New Hope. I would highly recommend Chimney Hill Estates to anyone!

We have stayed in various B&B's over the years and always have been provided with a really marvelous breakfast with home-baked goodies. We were told when booking this stay that breakfast would be provided in the room, which was very important to us. When we arrived, it seemed that serving breakfast in the room was an irregularity and inconvenience, and our breakfast arrived much later than requested. Breakfast was okay but nothing spectacular, and no one asked about our preferences (for instance, neither of us ever drinks orange juice but that's what we were given). The rooms were clean, but for the price we paid, we were expecting larger accommodations. Also the room was advertised as a suite, but there was no way to close the door between rooms. Thus, if one of us was unable to sleep, the bedroom could not be darkened for the sleeping person. However, the service was cheerful, the people were very pleasant, and the setting is utterly idyllic. We saw deer at least twice during our two-night stay, and feeding the alpacas was really cool. If we hadn't both had extensive farm experience as children, the rustic part of the stay would probably have been really special for us.

The rooms were well-kept and very clean, the estate was quiet and inviting, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time! I would recommend Chimney Hill to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!

The food was excellent, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and the staff went COMPLETELY OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure our stay was great.

I just got back from a lovely stay at the Chimney Hill Estate Inn and it was amazing! Eric was a great staff member, made some delicious breakfast and made us feel right at home. The Barn Suite #3 definitely exceeded my expecations-it was huge! I would recommend staying here for anyone that is seeking peace and quiet.

IT WAS A VERY NICE AND RELAXING STAY. THE ONLY THING WAS THAT THERE WAS NO SECONDS OFFERED AT BREAKFAST AND ALSO NO CANS OF SODA AVAILABLE ONLY WATER AND ICED TEA. ALSO THERMOSTAT WAS BROKEN IN ROOM AND NO ONE WAS AWARE OF THIS.

The service was incredible from the minute I walked in the door. They greeted with a smile and were constantly trying to please. We asked that they knock on our door if we didn't make it to breakfast, as a joke, and they actually came looking for us. I am a vegan and they did all they could to make my dining experience to my liking. They know the area very well so you will have no shortage of interesting places to visit. The town is adorable, the people are welcoming and the bed and breakfast was beautiful. Plus, we were greeted with complementary wine and cheese, what could be better? Stay there! I will certainly be going back at my next available weekend!

My stay at Chimney Hill was exceptional. The room was gorgeous and the staff extremely friendly. Being able to visit the Alpacas they raise right there on the grounds was a real treat. The fact that they are minutes away from Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA is an added plus because these quaint and inviting towns are a favorite of mine and my recent fiance. I say recent fiance because during our stay at Chimney Hill I proposed to her in the neighboring town of New Hope. All in all it was a magical weekend getaway.

The Inn is very nice and clean, we stayed in a Barn Suite with jakuzzi. The owner of the Inn is an extremely friendly and polite lady, whose cooking skills are terrific: the breakfast was always a pleasure. They also have a little alpaka farm, with very friendly animals, whom you can feed from your hands! Great place for a romantic weekend!

We had a very romantic stay in a barn suite. Loved the inn and the surrounding areas. Terry was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and what the towns had to offer.

Very quiet and nice place overall. The breakfast is honestly second to none. Amazing time and atmosphere.

This inn is off the beaten path, but provides quiet and relaxation. My room, Vincent's Hideway, was so nice. It was on the third floor and offered a VERY quiet place to rest after a long day of antiquing and walking. The breakfasts served by Eric were amazing!!! Each meal was absolutely wonderful. The inn is very clean and comfortable. The wine and cheese socials offered us a chance to get to know other inn guests and relax with each other. It was also so nice to walk outside and be greeted by at least one deer each time, and often times several would be grazing close by. I would definitely consider this inn again.

I booked a last minute for labor day and overall it was a very nice stay. I ended up getting the smallest room, which was a bit disappointing, plus no TV, but I should have seen that from the room review. They did however attempt to upgrade me, though all other rooms were booked. So in the future I would look for a bigger room. Other than that, great service, beautiful main building and the grounds are very quiet and comfortable. Very tasty breakfast and an overall comfortable atmosphere.

Chimney Hill is a lovely place to stay in the countryside less than 1 mile from downtown Lambertville. It was very quiet even though the place was full. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, with a "dish of the day" or eggs as an alternate. Terry is a delightful innkeeper, and the alpacas are a hoot!

The location is great! Lambertville is such a quaint historical town which is just a short walk over the bridge from New Hope, PA - another fabulous town. We rode our bikes on the tow path which runs along the canal and we rode around Washington's Crossing park on the way home. We had a wonderful week-end!

We had a wonderful stay and thought that Terry and Richard did an excellent job of welcoming us, providing area information and delicious breakfasts each morning. The room was lovely but thought the bed throw was a little worn and should be replaced.

Terry, the proprietor could not have been more accommodating - the house was spotless and they could not have done more to make our stay outstanding - the little perks were unnecessary and delightful. It could not have been a better weekend

I stayed here for the labor day weekend 9/4 - 9/6/11 and it was great. The people were very nice and the service was outstanding. I stayed at Barn Suite #1 and the room was very unexpected cause it was so nice. Food great, Room great, Staff very very friendly, and mainly everything is great but nothing is bad at all. Would recommend to everybody and would stay again.

We stayed at the Chimney Hill Estate Inn for two nights but I wish we could have stayed much longer! We had a wonderful time and every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations - the service was exceptional, the breakfasts were delicious, Terry was so knowledgeable, helpful and sweet, the alpacas were adorable, and of course, the rooms were spectacular. We stayed in Barn Suite #3 and I highly recommend it - I loved the fireplace, comfortable seating, the jacuzzi, and the decorations really pulled it all together to make you feel like you were deep in farm country - yet it's only 1.5 hours from NYC! 5 Stars! The best way to describe this very special place is by equating it to being invited to a close friend's or relatives home for the weekend. First, the place is immaculately spotless, warm and very inviting. We pulled up and were greeted with smiles and genuine waves of welcome even though we had never met any of them in person. It was a cold weekend and it felt so comforting when we first arrived and found a wine and cheese spread just waiting for their guests in their stone room in front of a warm fire. Terry, Rich and Deb were all so personable and made us feel very comfortable. The main house is very nicely decorated and you are informed right away of their open door policy to their refrigerator or pantry as well as an emergency drawer with supplies and a fresh batch of homemade cookies. Deb was just a pleasure to meet and talk to in person. We had a wonderful dinner experience at Italian Cuccina in New Hope which came recommended by Deb. It certainly added to the intimacy of our weekend stay. The next morning we walked over from our barn suite for breakfast in their elegant dining room area where beautifully adorned individual tables were set with fresh coffee, orange juice and the most delicious home made breakfast made to order. Terry's genuine smile and inviting conversation just makes you feel at home and ease. We enjoyed meeting the sweet natured alpacas and loved the smart choice of offering a small store onsite with some very nice and affordable products made from the wool of the alpacas. We loved the overall experience of this place and feel very fortunate to have stayed in such a wonderful place and meeting such lovely people. We have very fond memories which we will cherish for quite sometime and hope to return some day in the future. Thank you Deb, Terry, Rich and Chimney Hill staff!

My husband and I stayed the weekend of Hurricane Irene! Our stay was wonderful despite the weather. The staff was so accomodating and were a delight to be with. The Inn was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Our stay was incredibly relaxing, just what we needed. We will be going back soon, hopefully with no hurricane!!!!

Chimney Hill Estate Inn is an extremely well run, hansom inn in a quiet part of Lambertville, NJ. We were impressed by the intimate interior put together with taste and elegance. The inn is a pleasure to be in. Staff is extremely polite and the owner of the inn is pleasant. Upon arrival we were given a local map with recommendation for food, shops, biking, etc. Did not have to ask a single question! Out trip was one of these unexpected getaways that tern out to be very restful without any glitches. The inn was a big part of the success and our enjoyment. Surrounding area is wonderful for strolling around in New Hope, PA as well as Lambertville, NJ. There are plenty of small shops and a beautiful easy biking path along old canal.

Stayed there this past weekend with my girlfriend, 8/26/11-8/28/11 in Barn Suite #3. Had our Hurricane Irene party there. :) Room was incredible. Staff friendly. Food amazing. Terry helped us out finding local activities. Overall, a wonderful experience. Would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to come back.

This inn is one of the most beautiful that we have stayed in (and there have been many!). When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we were being upgraded to a more expensive room. (Apparently the inn was not full.) Our room was absolutely lovely, although the "private bath" could only be accessed by the hall. Lovely complimentary robes and a quiet hallway made this no problem. Breakfast was a culinary delight. Eric and Terry were both extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this inn.

We stayed here after our wedding and it was wonderful! The alpacas and llamas were a big part of that. Alpacas! The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal; I don't believe I've ever had french toast that was that good before. The room was clean and cozy and very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

They need to invest in some pillows. The pillows in our room were flat as pancakes and very uncomfortable. Other than that this B&B was great.

It was the best. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The main house is beautiful and very inviting for relaxing in the stone room. the breakfast food was a culinary delight and presented like a gourmet meal. loved every minute.

My wife and I had a great time. The room was excellent the grounds were beautiful the Alpacas were so cute. The breakfast was to die for!!!. We greeted every day with a big smile and a good morning. Lambertville and New Hope has so much History and Shops that you lose track of time. We will be back again in the near future.

Was greeted with a warm smile the second we pulled into the driveway. The inn keepers went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, the rooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Each morning there was delicious home cooked breakfast, which far exceeded my expectations in quality. Overall this was a great place to stay, with wonderful atmosphere, service and food. The nearby towns were also excellent locations for dining and walking; with live music in almost every restaurant and bar, plus free fireworks!

Chimney Hill is lovely and our room was nice, but we've stayed in other b & bs that were just as nice or better but much less expensive. The owners weren't available during our stay, but Eric, who was in charge, was a good and helpful host, as well as an excellent and accomodating cook.

Visited Chimney Hill (and the new Hope, PA area) with my family last weekend. Stayed 3 days, a mini vacation. Had a spectacular time. It's a beautiful property. The innkeeper and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room and entire property were full of antiques. Breakfast was gourmet and lovely. We could feed the llamas and alpacas. This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, and to say we were blown away is an understatement. We were met by Eric when we first arrived, and he did a magnificent job of welcoming us and giving us a rundown of Chimney Hill and the surrounding area. Eric was also the one making breakfast every morning, which were great (even though I'm not a big breakfast person). Later we met Terry, one of the owners, who, like Eric, always had the time to give us advice about the area or share information about the estate. We chose to stay in their "Tapestry" room, which was exactly what we were looking for. Some of the other rooms had such amenities as a jacuzzi, which we were tempted by, but we were very happy with where we stayed. Perhaps, on our next visit, we'll stay in one of the jacuzzi rooms. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Chimney Hill is located near Lambertville and New Hope, which provides plenty of things to do. The only complaint we had (though "complaint" is too strong of a word), is that some of the information they had about things to do around town was dated. A few of the things they had listed in their welcome book no longer exist as businesses. We would definitely recommend the Chimney Hill Estate to anyone!

Eric was a outstanding host, making sure every little detail was taken care of. The small outside deck was beautiful. We were able to see deer in the woods. My wife loved the Apacas. The small bistro table outside did need to be cleaned.

My Wife Mary and I got a "last minute getaway" at Chimney Hill Estate Inn---we stayed over a Saturday night, in the smallest, hence most affordable, room the Buttercup. It was a very pleasant overnight---Eric, the "Master of All Trades" was as polite and as accommodating as could be...his French toast Sunday morning was delicious! The alpacas/llamas were endearing...a nice stay!

This is a very conveniently located country inn close to both downtown Lambertville and New Hope. Our room was spacious and very nice, although the air conditioner needs updating. We were in the midst of a heat wave and it never got cool enough until morning. The breakfast was delicious and Eric was very accomodating with any changes anyone wanted to make. Nice touches like home made cookies and sherry available. Two nice common areas for relaxing. The alpacas and llamas were adorable.

Our stay was fantastic, we never realized this beautiful place was only 40 minutes from our home. The rooms, service, and grounds were better than advertised.We booked through Living Social, so we didn't know much going in.Beside the Alpacca Farm, there are also deer roaming the grounds. Perhaps what may have made our stay the best though was Eric. He catered to every detail no matter how small. His breakfasts were excellent, as well as his information about the area and anything else we needed. We would recommend this Inn to anyone looking for the most relaxing, yet fun time, not to mention New Hope and Lambertville only minutes away. The Tini's - Levittown, Pa.

My wife and I stayed here previously and had such a great time, we returned within 2-weeks to book a 1-night stay (which the owner was more than accommodating). The location is perfect, a quick 3 minute drive to Lambertville and 5 to New Hope but far enough away that you feel like you could be in the woods of some remote Adirondack town. The owners and staff are great, the sitting room is something I wish I could re-create in my own imaginary mountain house. We'll be back many times - for sure.

We recently returned to the Chimney Hill Estate for our annual gathering. We have been coming back for years, and Terry and her staff are always gracious, kind and accommodating. As usual, we had last minute changes, and actually came with more guests than we had originally booked rooms. The Chimney Hill Estate was pretty full, but Terry was able to offer a larger suite that had two bedrooms. This last-minute additional guest might have flustered another inn-keeper, but not Terry. Terry made the switch and welcomed us with open arms – and bottles of wine! The Inn itself is so inviting, well maintained and whimsical. The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful! Each room boasts a different theme. Throughout the Inn and the newly renovated barn – there is a sense of serenity and beauty. You must visit the alpacas as well! We definitely recommend this Inn, and know all of the guests will be treated as warmly as we were!

We needed a weekend away and it was wonderful! We had the Garden room, it was so private and cozy, we loved every minute of our stay! We also loved our alpaca experience, there was a baby alpaca born five days before we arrived. Will definitely return.

We found this B&B during a Living Social promotion and am so happy we did. This was my husbands and I first stay at a B&B and what a first impression. Eric (one of the innkeepers) was friendly, personable and just too sweet for words. The room was clean and comfy, the house was homey and the alpacas were cute as can be. Breakfast was delicious and the wine and cheese layout during the afternoon was a nice way to relax. I recommend the Tapestry room due to its spacious lay out and outside patio! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

We recently stayed here via the LivingSocial.com ad. I purchased it as a birthday adventure for my boyfriend. We were supposed to stay in one of the Premium Barn Suites, but were put in one of the smaller Garden Rooms due to a few hiccups in the booking process; apparently I never made a reservation with the Inn itself and the staff didn't know we were coming because I thought that giving the dates to LivingSocial was making our reservation. I even called to confirm our stay and had a confirmation with the owner herself. Unfortunately, another person who has the same first name as me bought the same package as me and came at the same date (even though there were no other cars in the driveway during our entire stay). When the hiccups had happened, the owner called to explain all of this, was a bit frustrated, called one of her staff, Eric, to help us, and told us to make a reservation with the inn immediately with "whatever your last name is" very sarcastically. Thank you, Eric, for your generosity and hospitality. Thank you, Mrs. Anderson, for your sarcasm and calling Eric to help us. I will not thank you, however, for your hospitality. As for the room, the alpacas, and the Inn... I have no real complaints. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower had hot water, and the bathroom came with shampoo, conditioner, and a bar of soap. We saw and fed the alpacas with grass (because we never received our feed sack that I paid for), and they were darling. The Inn was ghostly. Not one other personnel was there at night. At 2:30pm the next day, we saw Eric tend to the alpacas. We left to see New Hope, PA for the day and when we came back, not one soul was there, and decided that we wanted to leave the Inn a night early. We left the key in the living room. There was not a single soul on the premises at 6:00pm. No staff and no guests, just the ghosts whom were occupying all the rooms. All in all, this place is not worth the time or money.

Hi Folks, This young lady had no reservation with us , and never made a reservation at Chimney Hill Estate Inn. Basically she arrived at the Inn at 8pm without notice and called confused to find out why she could not get into the Estate House. Our Reservation Service called me as they were also very confused and they were having difficulty understanding what the person was trying to say. Reservations looked and could not find her name in our reservation system. As a result I personally called her to find out what was the situation. She explained that she purchased a Social Living Coupon- Paid Social Living and thought she could just arrive and lodging without notice. I then explained that the Social Living Coupon has specific instructiond and indicates that the purchaser has to make a reservation with our Inn and then the coupon is applied as payment. Even though she had no reservation we made a Estate Suite available for her to check in and offered a Barn Suite for the next day. They never came to breakfast and never made any contact with us during the business hours. Maybe that is why they never saw anyone here. PS : We have had many Social Living Guests who just the love the promotion and have made reservations to come back for another visit soon. I am very sorry that this couple did not enjoy the exceptional value and miss the joy of their experience.

My husband and I stayed at Chimney Hill to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. He and I are vegetarians and Terry tried very hard to accomodate our needs at breakfast. She was charming and a wonderful hostess. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and well tended. Feeding the alpacas and llamas was so much fun! I would gladly stay there again in the future.

We stayed at your beautiful condo in Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Beach. The accomodations were lovely overlooking the pool and plenty of space to relax in. It was very convenient to anything we wanted to do, the beach, restaurants, activities, etc. And after a day of activity, it was just nice to come back to lounge around the pool. Although we are not golfers, I understand the golf course is wonderful. It was great going out to eat but also just having a few things available in the kitchen and throw on a load of laundry while lounging around. I would highly recommend this to anyone with the 3 bedrooms and 3 baths a family would have plenty of room to enjoy!

For a "Girls' Weekend", Chimney Hill was PERFECT! We had the common meeting place with our sleeping areas near by, and 2 full baths. The outside deck with seating, overlooking the alpacas was very relaxing! There was enough to do nearby but we did enjoy just relaxing in and around the lovely home and grounds. Eric was a real find! Everyone was so pleasant!

A serendipity was being at Chimney Hill Estates when the Alpacas had their yearly shearing. It was very interesting and the wool is wonderfully soft. The funniest part was the sheared males, who, while waiting for the others, looked like they couldn't tell who was who without their heavy winter coats!

One word captures it. Wonderful! The room we were in was roomy, airy and filled with light. It had a wonderful cozy andwarm feel. Minor drawbacks are that there is little counter space for preparing food, and the spiral staircase may not be for everyone, especially if you have knee problems. Also, the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs which, if you get up in the middle of the night may be a challenge. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared. The setting is just idyllic - a reminder of just how beautiful New Jersey can be if you know where to look. Oh! The alpacas are also a treat! All in all we would hartily recommend the Chimney Hill Estate Inn. Joe and Mim

Lovely place. Grounds were beautiful. So quiet but so close to all activities

My wife and I stayed memorial day 2011. Stayed in the butter cup room, this room was a nice surprise because not only did it have outdoor space but it also had a Huge dining/lounge room that is not mentioned on their website but you will get it as well and it is a private room to anyone who stays in the buttercup room. The inn itself has the main house which is open 24 hrs with wine and snacks. Breakfast was great and made to order when we asked. If you have old vhs tapes you should bring them to watch a movie or bring an ipad there is no cable tv-but i guess that Shouldn't be expected at a b and b.....all in all It's a great location if your looking to visit new hope or any of the surrounding dining,shopping,river fun etc etc...

Couldn't ask for a a cleaner, nicer, or better value in a B&B.

We just returned from a lovely weekend stay at Chimney Hill Estate. I would highly recommend the inn to anyone looking for a romantic, peaceful stay. The main house is gorgeous and comfortable. We stayed in Barn Suite 2, which was nice, but not quite as nice as the main part of the inn. We really enjoyed our own private patio and we appreciated having television in the room. The only complaint would be the air conditioning; it kicks on and off (loudly) throughout the night and when it was off, the room became unbearably hot and still. I am a sensitive sleeper and would awaken throughout the night as a result. A small portable fan, or better yet, a ceiling fan, would improve things dramatically. The inn keeper, Teri, could not have been nicer. When we arrived later than planned because of traffic, I was secretly disappointed we had missed the wine and cheese offered. Reading my mind, Teri immediately poured us a lovely glass of wine before we had even checked in. She made every effort to make us feel at home and comfortable throughout the weekend and served marvelous breakfasts each morning. The alpacas on the property are really cool too. Overall, a wonderful place to stay (and New Hope is simply fantastic!)

We were looking to have a long weekend getaway and stay at a bed & breakfast, so we did some research and found The Chimney Hill Estate Inn. This place stood out above the rest, because of their beautiful alpacas & llamas. It is a charming & quaint place that we cannot wait to visit again. We didn't want to leave! It is tucked away for peace & quiet, but extremely close to tons of restaurants, antique places, shopping, winery, and much more. This is the place to come to melt away your stress and feel at ease in the lovely rooms, service, amazing full breakfast, wildlife, and much more. Donna & Elise will highly be recommending this place to everyone we know and we will be returning as often as we can. We have found our Heaven on Earth here!

This is now the 2nd time that my husband and I spent the weekend at the Chimney Hill Inn and it was a great experience both times. The rooms are wonderful, the service and food are great and the location is also great. Plan to spend some time walking around New Hope, PA, which is just minutes away. Wonderful restaurants in the area just added to our great time. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Terry, Richard, Eric and everyone else for our great time. We hope to see you again soon.

Very relaxing, The Stone Room was so comfy; nice to just relax and enjoy ambiance with soothing music in background, and a book. Eric our inn keeper was extremely pleasant and enjoyable to talk with. Room (Tapestry) was suprisingly larger than expected.

Terry and crew were great! The Llamas and Alpacas were terrific. Can't wait to go back!

The inn is lovely and located on large, quiet grounds. We arrived after official check-in but there was no difficulty as we'd simply let them know in advance and arrangements were made. Additionally, we were very pleasantly surprised to learn that Terry had "upgraded" us to a more spacious room (thanks, Terry!). Eric's breakfasts were delicious and both he and Terry contributed to good morning conversations. We'd stayed at Chimney Hill previously and look forward to returning some day!

Our first visit here ... great time, great atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, and Eric was very accomodating and friendly. It was an impromptu getaway with friends and we were so delighted with the serenity and beautiful surroundings. Even the alpacas kept us entertained. Don't miss the Zsa Zsa gift shop on the grounds! There were lots of great restaurants within walking distance and its just a quick trip into Pennsylvania to the Peddlers Village. We ate dinner at the Hamilton Grill and truly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be recommending Chimney Hill to our friends!

I was only looking for a quick night away with my wife. I was glad to see that we could check in at any hour as we had decided to have a late dinner and some dancing. I was very pleased with the gentlemen who showed us our room as he upgraded me when I thought our room was too small and was very pleasent. Unfortunately the room put us next to the owner who must have been a light sleeper. When me and my wife decided to go to bed we made a little too much noise due to the bed being too close to the wall. We were interepted twice and decided to leave before breakfast as to not upset her anymore. Due to this I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone who was not really old and did not want much of a romantic getaway.

This is a beautiful respite and our guests look forward to the peace, quiet and enjoyment that we offer at the Estate. These Guests offered an unfortunate situation. This couple , although very nice , partied loudly till 4am. We received 2 phone calls from the other neighboring Barn Suite Guests who were disturbed in their sleep about the noise problem. I asked this couple twice if they could please keep the noise level down and not to smoke in our rooms. They thought that too big a request and did leeave before breakfast. We were gracious and did not charge the smoking fee and we had to appoligize to the other guests who were kept up all night. We understand having fun and staying up late, but constant loud noise, heavy partys and smoking are not what we offer here. Sorry Folks.

This was our third stay at Chimney Hill Estate Inn. Terry is a wonderful hostess and the breakfast is outstanding! We were upgraded to a barn suite and it was wonderful! We loved the jacuzzi in the room. Our favorite spot in the inn is the room with the stone fireplace. Sitting by the fire with a glass of wine and our books is a perfect way to unwind! we had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The staff was very attentive and helpful - the Innkeeper upgraded us to a beautiful suite. The entire BnB was very clean. The living room had a huge fireplace where they served wine and cheese. All in all - they have a great attention to details and create a very relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend Chimney Hill.

Breakfast was fair. Not very good and very little choice--everything had sausage and the potatoes were cold. The place was beautiful, rooms clean and nice. Wine by the fireplace at 4 was a nice touch. The Alpacas are fun.

Got to the Inn Sunday afternoon.After shopping all day in New Hope.Had dinner at the wine cellar.And had breakfast in the morning. Wanted to shop in Lambertville on Monday. Did not know most of the stores were closed on Mondays.Had a very nice time.
