The Mission Inn with its sweeping verandas is one block from the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by Nelson Z. Graves' journey to the Pacific coast at the turn of the century, The Mission Inn is a perfect example of California Mission style. Its stained glass windows, Flemish Gable and latticed veranda contribute to the warm feeling of this al fresco house. The Mission Inn offers you the grandeur of the Gatsby Era. For many years the Inn has been a mecca for Hollywood film start and Broadway show people. Enjoy the same ambiance as Ty Power, Erroll Flynn, Diana Barrymore, Gloria Swanson, and Robert Preston. When you stay an the Mission Inn, you feel that California state of mind. Her guests are colorful! If the walls could speak they would murmur a century of secrets. The Mission Inn is enchanting and fiercely romantic.

The Mission Inn is clean, elegant and beautiful. The hosts, Susan and Ray are generous and helpful. We loved the unique breakfasts and other treats that the owners provide throughout the day. We would definitely recommend the Mission Inn as an excellent Cape May B&B.

As soon as you step into this Mexican motif B&B you feel the warmth and welcoming of the owners Susan and Ray. The rooms all have their own charm and are immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked and the breakfasts and snacks are above the ordinary. This is an experience you shouldn't miss.

Susan and Ray are the most fabulous hosts, and make you feel so welcome every time you walk through the door. The breakfasts are great and the rooms are very pleasant, nice and always clean and well cared for. The hosts truly make you feel like family. We have stayed at the Mission Inn at least 6 times now and hope to return once a year.

Unique, warm and friendly, great breakfasts and afternoon hors d'oevres. Comfortable rooms and comfortable common areas both inside and outside. This is a wonderful place to visit. A destination itself. Also much to see and do in the Cape May area and Susan and Ray are full of helpful suggestions if you run out of ideas. Just wonderful: the inn, the inn-keepers and the Cape a May area.

I planned a sunset proposal in Cape May followed by a weekend at a Bed and Breakfast, and things couldn't have been more perfect. The Mission Inn met and exceeded my expectations from the second we walked through the door. Ray and Susan go above and beyond in every way possible, reaching a level of hospitality that other business owners could only dream of achieving, and they do it so naturally. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for all that they have done for me and my fiance to make our weekend truly memorable and enjoyable. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the hug goodbye and everything in between, The Mission Inn deserves not 5, but 6 stars. We cannot wait to return to our new home away from home in the years to come!

We always have a wonderful time at the Mission Inn. The host and hostess are fabulous, the rooms are very comfortable and delightfully decorated. The breakfast is excellent as are the refreshments served every afternoon at 4:00. The staff are also great. We have a very relaxing time when we go to the Mission Inn which is much needed with both of us having stressful jobs.
