The Chalfonte Hotel

The Chalfonte Hotel is the oldest continually operating hotel in Victorian Cape May...since 1876. The Hotel, a national historic landmark, has 70 rooms, all appointed with original antiques, and in keeping with the traditional summer style of the hotel, our guest rooms do not have air-conditioning, televisions and telephones in the rooms, but feature ceiling fans and louvered doors to let in ocean breezes. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner, has a full service bar, children's dining room, and offers a variety of workshops, cultural events and children's programming.
