Inn Details
From the moment you awaken to the wonderful aroma of breakfast until those last quiet moments you spend in your favorite rocker on the veranda, your stay will be filled with all the pleasures that Cape May offers. The inn was commissioned to be built in 1867 by S.A. Harrison as a family summer cottage. It was designed and built in the Italianate style, complete with cupola, by the renouned architect, Stephen Decatur Button. After being retained as a summer residence in the late 1800's and early 1900's, the cottage then served as a restaurant and guest house for many years.
