The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the Stickley Company that is complemented by Mission-style lanterns and art pottery. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you!

We had a wonderful stay at Rhythm of the Sea, despite the weather...a bit cold and rainy. both Robyn and Jodi were very nice and pleasant. Unlike most other B&B's however, they both seemed not to interact with their guests. I guess I was expecting more conversation about things to see and do in the area. that was not a problem for us, however, but if you are looking for this sort of help, might not find it here. Loved the house and the décor, absolutely beautiful. One minor note, there were only 2 bath towels in our bathroom. If it's a couple, like us, the woman is definitely going to want 2 towels...one for hair and one for body :). Again, a minor detail. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of fruit! Coffee....just ok. I would stay their again, off peak season is nice since less people and free parking! yeah. the trolley tour was excellent. the two elderly men (driver and tour guide) were perfect for this job. enjoyed them both.

We visited for our wedding anniversary and it was very nice ... a bit quiet, since there was only one other couple in residence ... but very nice. My only nitpick, and it's just that, is that the television in our room was about the size of a computer screen. All the other rooms had standard-sized TVs. Didn't matter because we weren't there to watch television but it's worth a note for the next person who might come along. Otherwise, nice place; nice location; nice view; and really nice service from Jodie who also prepared a delicious breakfast.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful inn over the weekend. It is in a fabulous location right across the street from the ocean with convenient parking and within walking distance to several restaurants for dinner. It was immaculate. A very cozy enviorment . The rooms were very nice. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. Jodie fixed us a delicious pancake breakfast and was more than happy to adjust the menu for my husband. This was our first time to Cape May but would love to come back and would definitely choose the Rhythm of the Sea again.

As a very busy director of a local non-profit and a mother of three my husband and I were seeking a revitalizing weekend within a short ride of our Toms River home. Being a "beach lover" my attention was immediately drawn to Rhythm of the Sea; a beachfront B&B that clearly sang a song of peace, relaxation and nature. From the moment we arrived we knew that this was the anecdote for revitalizing our bodies, soul and marriage; great home-made breakfast, jogging on the beach, bike riding to the lighthouse, delicious dinners, fun shopping and most of all...warm hospitality! We are already booking our return trip :)

This is a wonderful, comfortable inn. Rhythm of the Sea is just the epitome of relaxation. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and comfortable, the service is impeccable, the food is fabulous and the innkeepers are warm and welcoming. You could not find a better spot in Cape May! Frankly, this Inn stands above most others in the state of New Jersey!

WE REALLY LIKED RHYTHM, PEOPLE NICE, RIGHT ON BEACH, GOOD BREAKFAST. I LOVED WATCHING DOLPHINS IN THE MORNING WITH A CUP OF COFFEE ON THE BALCONY. WE COULDN'T ENJOY THINGS AS MUCH AS WE WOULD HAVE LIKED DUE TO SOME LINGERING HEALTH ISSUES, SO ANOTHER VISIT IS IN ORDER...

This is the second stay at Rhythm of the Sea at this time of year. We returned because we enjoyed ourselves so much the previous year. Cape May is quiet with yet many holiday activities still going on. The weather is still on the warmer side allowing beach walks directly across the street. The house is sweetly decorated for Christmas and the gas fireplaces in our room and in the large main room are a seasonal plus. We love to play pool on the great old pool table and breakfast is a real treat in the spacious dining room. Rhythm of the Sea is both a comfortable and inviting retreat from the hustle bustle of the season.
