The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the Stickley Company that is complemented by Mission-style lanterns and art pottery. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you!
King suite with TV/DVD, sitting room with wet bar, garden access, ocean views, Family-friendly (and pet friendly) with an extra twin bed for child but is also perfect for a romantic getaway for just the two of you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rhythm of the Sea. This was our first ever visit to Cape May, and we will definitely return. This property is located directly across the street from the beautiful beach, and they provide towels and beach chairs, in case you haven't brought your own. Breakfast was delicious and high quality. We had French toast the first morning, and eggs the second (bird's nest?). Cookies and light beverages were available in the afternoon, and coffee and tea are available 24 hours. There's an ice machine and ice buckets on the main level. The main level is so welcoming with many spots to sit and relax, and there's soft music playing most of the time. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Maybe it was the great weather. Or, maybe it was sitting on the porch looking out over the ocean. Or, maybe it was the friendly smile of Jodi, the innkeeper, or the delicious breakfast, or the beautifully landscaped gardens. Or, maybe it was all of the above! Whatever it was, we had a wonderful stay at the Rhythm of the Sea and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed one night at this bed and breakfast and although it was clean and the breakfast was above expectations, we did not feel it was good value for money in comparison with other hotels we stayed at on our trip from the UK. The room was on the small side, the shower had very poor pressure and did not work well, the pillows on the bed were extremely full with no suitable alternatives, hence we did not sleep at all well and we felt that providing an envelope in the room suggesting that a tip was "thoughtful" was not appropriate. Like most people, we leave tips when we choose, based on our satisfaction with the service, etc. As previously mentioned the breakfast was superb, the host was polite and helpful and it was good to hear the ocean.

Three terrific nights in a spacious room with a fantastic view and a balcony. A great nights sleep listening to the surf was followed each morning by a fantastic breakfast. It felt like being home only better. The bikes were a great added convenience. Everyone made us feel at home.
