Rhythm of the Sea

1123 Beach Avenue , Cape May, NJ 08204-2628 USA (Show map)

The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the Stickley Company that is complemented by Mission-style lanterns and art pottery. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you!

Heavenly place for honeymoon

We stayed in the room with the balcony! The place is wonderful in so many ways-tranquil, wonderful breakfast and afternoon desserts, Jodi and Robyn are the nicest people , and I would go back in a heartbeat! Will surely make more visits in the future! Thanks for the most wonderful place to stay! Sherry & Scott Zeigler

Innkeeper Response

An exquisite and confident return to Rhythm of the Sea!

Robyn and Wolfgang, the proprietors are wonderful hosts. Additionally, the usual on-site host, Jody, is personable and helpful in meeting the guests' needs. The breakfasts at this B&B are always anticipated -- imaginative presentation and great tasting food. They accommodate any special dietary needs. Great time!

Knotts Island to Cape May

I stayed in the Oasis room - the only negative thing I could say about this B&B is the mattress was hard on the back - it's either time for a new mattress (top of the line) OR invest in some of the memory foam pads.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your comment regarding our mattress being too hard for you. We did invest in double pillow top mattresses recently and they are firm, for good support. I usually have thick quilted mattress pads for the extra layer of softness, but I myself use a memory foam pad so I think that is a great idea! Thank you for choosing Rhythm of the Sea for your getaway stay and we would look forward to welcoming you back.

Very satisfied customer.

A great place to stay for beach lovers!

5 on April 29, 2015

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rhythm of the Sea bed and breakfast in late April 2015. We were extremely fortunate to have an amazing weekend weather wise, so the closeness in proximity to the beach was wonderful. We utilized the bicycles provided by RoS to ride into the center of town, which we loved! The room was beautifully decorated and clean. And Jodi couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. We can't wait to go back for another weekend getaway. If you stay at the Rhythm of the Sea, you won't regret it!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind words! Aren't those bikes great!! You can tell we all like what we do and feel so fortunate to have wonderful guests stay with us. We look forward to greeting you again, and again! Have a great summer.

We were pleased with our stay, from the time of arrival to the time of departure. My husband enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere throughout the home, the privacy of the rooms and the lovely decorations. One of our favorite things was the breakfast! It was delicious and above our expectations. I highly recommend Rhythm of the Sea to any one looking for a bed and breakfast in Cape May.
