About

The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the Stickley Company that is complemented by Mission-style lanterns and art pottery. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you!

Romantic getaway

4.4 on August 26, 2015

Our first time in Cape May and we couldn't have been happier with our choice on where to stay. We loved everything about our stay at Rhythm of the Sea. We stayed in the Carriage House Room which is very spacious and comfortable. We felt like we were coming home every night instead of going back to a hotel room. The breakfast we had every morning was delious and they accommodated my husbands Gluten Allergy, which is a big plus for us. They have bikes to ride, towels for the beach and beach chairs for you to use. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach for a fee. The staff was friendly and made us feel very comfortable from the minute we arrived. We will definitely return to Rhythm of the Sea soon and would recommend to friends And family.

Beautiful and Relaxing

5 on August 23, 2015

It was just a lovely vacation. The Inn is beautiful, and clean, actually spotless. It's just steps away from the beach entrance. The Innkeeper was very warm and friendly, breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We had room 7, which has a side view of the beach. We sat on the porch in the afternoons, which always had a beautiful breeze. the Inn was filled,!but it never seemed crowded. I can't wait to go back.

Great Visit...

3.6 on August 06, 2015

My wife and I just spent a few days and had a very good visit. While it 'may' appear that my ratings aren't that great..they are based on the very high expectations we had coming into our stay. So...Saying it 'met my expectations' ...a 3...is a compliment and 4 is saying something special. It's right across the street from the beach and a very short walk (seconds not minutes) to the beach entrance. The included breakfast was very good and the overall stay was exactly what we were hoping for. Will definitely go back if heading to Cape May!

Rhythm of the Sea Review

Our stay at the Rhythm of the Sea was beyond our expectations. The staff was welcoming, accommodating, and extremely pleasant. The breakfast each morning rival that of a 5-star restaurant's meal. Simply outstanding. We will definitely go back!

A peaceful, beautiful beachfront bed and breakfast..

4.6 on August 04, 2015

We recently spent 2 nights (wish it was longer) and couldn't have been happier. This bed and breakfast has a beach house feel which was great! Loved that they had a pool table and their porch was fantastic! Breakfasts were great! Location was in the quieter side of beachfront cape may with easy access to the beach across the street. Bikes are available for free. Loved our stay and would come back again!

Heavenly place for honeymoon

We stayed in the room with the balcony! The place is wonderful in so many ways-tranquil, wonderful breakfast and afternoon desserts, Jodi and Robyn are the nicest people , and I would go back in a heartbeat! Will surely make more visits in the future! Thanks for the most wonderful place to stay! Sherry & Scott Zeigler

Innkeeper Response

An exquisite and confident return to Rhythm of the Sea!

4.4 on June 03, 2015

Robyn and Wolfgang, the proprietors are wonderful hosts. Additionally, the usual on-site host, Jody, is personable and helpful in meeting the guests' needs. The breakfasts at this B&B are always anticipated -- imaginative presentation and great tasting food. They accommodate any special dietary needs. Great time!

Knotts Island to Cape May

4.6 on May 17, 2015

I stayed in the Oasis room - the only negative thing I could say about this B&B is the mattress was hard on the back - it's either time for a new mattress (top of the line) OR invest in some of the memory foam pads.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your comment regarding our mattress being too hard for you. We did invest in double pillow top mattresses recently and they are firm, for good support. I usually have thick quilted mattress pads for the extra layer of softness, but I myself use a memory foam pad so I think that is a great idea! Thank you for choosing Rhythm of the Sea for your getaway stay and we would look forward to welcoming you back.

Very satisfied customer.
