The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the Stickley Company that is complemented by Mission-style lanterns and art pottery. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. This was our first visit to Cape May and we had a great time. We enjoyed the free use of the bikes at Rhythm of the Sea (ROS) and the shopping in Cape May was fun. The decor and vibe at ROS are beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast food was delicious though more protein options would be even greater. In the common area of the house, the refrigerator to keep our wine in and the Keurig coffee maker available 24-7 were very convenient. All of our questions were answered warmly and quickly by Misty or Robyn. Wifi signal was very weak in our room but better in the downstairs common areas. Around town, we were somewhat frustrated by trying to get into most of the restaurants we wanted to dine at but found some other ones that were nice just the same. Overall we had a great 3-night stay.

The place could not have been more perfect. Robyn is a gracious hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and the balcony for our room. Breakfasts were delicious. We wanted a quieter location away from the main activity and the distance was perfect for us to get to town when we wanted by walking but without the crowded and loud beaches, bars and shopping overwhelming our stay. Robyn struck the perfect balance between welcoming but not too involved in our stay. Would love to return next year!

I spent several very pleasant days at Rythm of the Sea. The location -- right across from the beach, and an easy walk to the center of Cape May -- was perfect. Breakfasts were excellent, as were the service and amenities (pool table, bicycles, beach chairs and towels). Highly recommended.

We had a comfy, lovely stay. Room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the beach and ocean. Breakfast was delicious and very filling and Robyn was pleasant and accommodating.

Loved everything about Rhythm of the Sea except our room choice. It was one of the smaller rooms (#7) in the house and the footboard stuck out causing my husband to hit his shin several times during our stay. The bathroom was nice size but not much space to layout your toiletries. I would recommend rooms #1&2 (having full ocean views) or #4 was a lovely room. The Inn's location to the beach is ideal, although a further walk to shops and restaurants. If you are a walker you won't mind the distance to the mall & restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Rhythm of the Sea and plan to go back! Robyn is warm and welcoming too and the breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, especially enjoyed the breakfast burrito with fresh homemade salsa. There was a simplicity about this Inn that I really liked and it is located in a quiet but beautiful part of Cape May.
Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn after your recent stay. So sorry about the shin bang! I usually point that out as I have done it myself. When I ordered the bed with no footboard, to not block the beach view from bed, I did not realize the corners would stick out like that. Stickley makes solid furniture, which you felt. We would look forward to welcoming you back to try another room. You can't surround yourself with too much simplicity!

Robyn is an excellent inn keeper and is great with guests. The B&B is charming, and accommodations are in the arts and crafts style. Bathroom are small; preferred using my own toiletries as theirs were very medicinal smelling. Breakfast is very good, and there is always coffee/tea available. For first-time visitors, note that all places on Beach Ave. are on a fairly heavily trafficked road w/parking meters on the street. None of the B&Bs or hotels are actually "on" the beach. Parking for Rhythm of the Sea is free/on site, and there are beach towels and beach chairs you may take to the beach, as well as bicycles to ride. Note: Cape May beach is not free - everyone has to have a pass on the beach, and this is not included in the price of the B&B, though some hotels provide passes. $12 for a 3-day pass or pay by the day.
We appreciate your review. Sorry you did not appreciate our Essential Elements amenities. They are infused with essential oils of rosemary and mint that stimulates and refreshes mind, body and spirit! With regards to the beach tags, no establishment in Cape May is able to offer their guests beach tags. This is illegal to do as they are non transferable.

my husband and I spent 3 day weekend at Rhythm of the Sea. It is such a peaceful and relaxing weekend,. We were able to see the ocean from our room and able to hear the waves roll in. Out breakfasts were delicious! Jodi welcomed us like we were one of the family and we just felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Beautiful breeze on the porch. Able to take the bikes and ride into town.
We are so pleased you enjoyed all we have to offer!

Fabulous B&B - Hospitality was exceptional - we booked last minute, Robyn was there for all of our needs, the rooms are very well appointed and meticulous. They have great beach bike for your use. The main area is warm and comfy with a pool table and porch that out looks the ocean, I would go back in a heartbeat!
My heartbeat skipped reading your review! We would look forward to welcoming you back.
