Already made reservations for next Summer

5 on August 15, 2015

We've stayed at the Mooring for seven straight summers, and next year will be our eighth. Vince and Leslie are terrific hosts, who make us feel like we are visiting family (actually, it's better than that: we don't have to help with the dishes or make our beds). Breakfasts are a treat. Each morning there is a choice of savory or sweet concoction from Leslie's kitchen, along with a continental buffet, or just plain scrambled eggs. The Mooring is always exceptionally clean (how do they get rid of all the sand?) and well kept. Vince knows our taste in restaurants and is always available for recommendations. The Mooring is one block from the beach, and about five from downtown Cape May. You don't ever need your car. And, you can spend the last day on the beach and still be able to shower in their outdoor shower before you head home. All in all, we'll keep going back as long as they will have us.

We stayed in room 12. It was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious. Vince is incredibly personable and makes you feel like old friends immediately! The homemade breakfast was fabulous! Friends had recommended some local spots for breakfast but we couldn't tear ourselves away from Vince and Leslie's cooking! Everything is just so fresh!!! All around, a wonderful stay! ~ Orlando & Ida

Leslie and Vince are the perfect team, and the Mooring B&B is a testament of hard work, imagination and genuine caring. We come here every year and have made it a family tradition.

We returned to our honeymoon B & B and we're not disappointed. Room was beautiful and once again the breakfasts were scrumptious. We will be back!

Proprietor was very friendly and business like. Gave great advice on choices for dining and what to do around town. Breakfast was very good. We had a very relaxing stay and would stay here again.

Celebrated a birthday here. It was a wonderful time. Room was lovely and the service and accommodations were just perfect. We will certainly be returning. The breakfast every morning was gourmet style and the afternoon tea foods too! Great place.

Title is outstanding because the review meter would not register that sentiment, shared by my bride (of 51 years) and myself. Delighted in every regard with the care that has been taken to provide a quality mooring for those visiting Cape May. Each room is a designer's triumph. Leslie and Vince are accommodating, engaging, and helpful hosts. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. Loved it!
