Anniversary getaway

We spent our honeymoon here so we like to relive that time by returning most years. We love the breakfast selections, especially the yogurt and afternoon tea is refreshing. We will be back again next year!

Lovely place to stay in Cape May.

The Moorings was everything you could ask for in an Inn. The room was beautifully furnished and clean. Old world charm with modern comforts. We were in Room 10 which had a porch with rocking chairs. Vince and Leslie the Innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It is in walking distance to the beach and to town. You will not be sorry if you stay here.

35th Wedding Anniversary at the Mooring B&B

We stayed in the Suite. It was decorated in victorian charm and was very comfortable. The AC was a bit noisy, but it kept the room cool. Breakfast in the main dining room at the house was wonderful. Vince was attentive enough without overdoing it and was a wealth of information concerning activities and attractions nearby. Leslie prepared very tasty breakfasts that were out of the ordinary. The location was ideal and on-site parking made travel easy.

Wonderful experience at the Mooring B&B

This was our first time at a B&B and it was a great experience. Vince and Leslie are just the right mix of being friendly without being in your business. The B&B was beautifully decorated and had an old world charm about it. The location was ideal being only a block from the beach. The breakfast was out of this world with a nice variety of choices. We would go back there in a heartbeat.

Beautiful historic B and B with period furnishings and modern amenities. Breakfast is always a blend of gourmet sweet and savory choices.

Mooring is the B&B with the best Breakfast!

Mooring is arguably the best B&B in Cape May depending on what you're looking for in a B&B. It's the perfect couple's B&B because men (like myself) and women alike will truly enjoy their stay. If you're seeking the classic B&B experience, great understanding and accommodating owners, with a touch more privacy, comfortable bed, and a breakfast that will give you enough energy to keep going until dinnertime, the Mooring is your destination! Rooms are nice, quiet, private. Bathrooms are a good size though some of the showers are smaller in the smaller rooms. Owners Vince and Leslie are a team par excellence and make you feel like lifelong friends while maintaining an exceedingly high level of service. Location is one block from the beach- there are no b&b's closer than that. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, starting with a fruit buffet with baked goods (muffins, scones, zucchini bread, etc. - different each day), followed by optional individually prepared Greek yogurt topped with fresh berries and wildflower honey, then you are offered a selection of either a sweet dish or savory dish, which typically consists of various creative and delicious versions of French toast (coconut encrusted, pecan, etc.), and for the savory various styles of eggs including migas, "green and white" (scallions and cream cheese) or standard scrambled eggs if you wish. There is also a selection of juices, great coffee, and premium tea to choose from. We've stayed here twice, and the second experience was even better than the first- they do this so well! Leslie was very accommodating with diet concerns, and they even lent us a very nice umbrella when it was raining. Vince also has top restaurant suggestions and also great "strategy" on experiencing great food at some of the expensive places while not breaking the bank. I highly recommend the Mooring to anyone who enjoys great food and wants a restful night's sleep. Best value, Best Cape May B&B in my opinion.

Our Favorite in Cape May

We always have a great time in Cape May and after discovering this great BnB we will only stay here when visiting. The owners are the inn keepers and go out of their way to make sure all your needs are take care of. They are also very knowledgeable about the town and what to see and do. DO NOT miss the breakfast as it is absolutely wonderful, something new and delicious each day.

What makes this B $ B special are the In keepers, Leslie and Vince. They compliment each other and the inn with their culinary skills, knowledge of Cape May, and hospitality. Stay at The won't be disappointed! Nancy and Donald Scatton.

It just gets better and better

We have been coming here for years, this time we were able to come twice. Leslie and Vince are more than hospitable. Stayed in room 2 for the first time and found it elegant yet comfortable and homey. Can't wait to return. Love this Inn and the people that run it.
