Built in 1869, the Gingerbread House is one of the eight Stockton Row Cottages situated in the historic District that has been meticulously and elegantly restored. This charming Victorian house is loaded with gingerbread woodwork, incorporating the innkeeper's talents and craftsmanship. His creations include the double entrance doors of teakwood with beveled glass and upgraded bathrooms of teakwood and corian counters. Victorian furnishings, lace curtains, period wallpapers, original Cape May watercolors by Fred's mother, award-winning photographs and classical music provide a lovely atmosphere with friendly service and attention to detail.
