Carroll Villa Hotel at the Mad Batter Restaurant Video: The Carroll Villa is a family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast Hotel and home of the Nationally acclaimed Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar. Our building is a registered Historic Landmark, circa 1882, located in the heart of Cape May's historic district. We are 1/2 block from the beach, and Victorian Shopping Mall. For a romantic weekend, a family vacation, or a unique conference site, we offer 21 attractive Victorian guest rooms, all beautifully furnished, with private baths, A/C, TV/VCR,free wireless connections and phones. We also offer a large meeting room within our restaurant, which offers a comfortable environment for corporate meetings, workshops, family reunions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, and more. All hotel stays include $30 for breakfast, 50% off drinks 4-6pm (except top shelf) and 30% off 2 dinner entrees.

The Carroll Villa is a family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast Hotel and home of the Nationally acclaimed Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar. Our building is a national Historic Landmark, circa 1882, located in the heart of Cape May's historic district. We are 1/2 block from the beach, and walking mall. We are the first national landmark hotel in the historic district to install solar panels. Our focus is to maintain the integrity of the past while looking toward a sustainable future. All rooms have private bath, ac, flat screen tv's. All hotel stays include $30 for breakfast, 50% off drinks 4-6pm (except top shelf) and 30% off 2 dinner entrees.

Pam Huber's interests are mosiacs, beading and jewelry. She is an avid gardner and loves to travel. Mark is interested in New York Sports teams, movies, travel, golf, and favorite interest, spending time outdoors with his dogs Simon, Ika and Spark Plug.

We are 1/2 block from the walking mall and the ocean on the left side of the street(look for porch with yellow & white striped awnings). Park in loading zone with flashers on to check in.

We were very pleased with our stay. Since it was after Labor Day it was quieter than during the peak season. The location was great and the Mad Batter had some great lobster and crab bisque.

The service is outstanding, as is the dining, which is the attached "Mad Hatter". The private rooms are gloriously clean and decorated. The common rooms and porch were also very nice. The price is somewhat high.

The staff was friendly, the room was very clean, and the restaurant was very tasty. The location was perfect!
