Angel of the Sea

The Angel of the Sea is Victorian Cape May's most elegant bed & breakfast. Built in 1850 as the summer home of one of America's wealthiest industrialists, this Queen Anne style mansion was completely restored in 1989. All 27 guestrooms have private baths and many of the rooms, along with all of the porches and verandahs, have ocean views. It has been featured on many television shows including Great Country Inns, The Food Network and the Oprah Winfrey Show. It has received numerous awards including a Silver Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In 1999 it was named the #2 Bed & Breakfast in North American by the Reed Travel Group.
