    Stayed there june 17,2011 The place is amazing!!!! very clean..very very well kept..beautiful and the deck on the bay..with the hot tub..makes you never want to leave the place..very relaxing and highly highly recommended!!! I've already gave info to two people!!! can't wait to go back!! Oh the most important is Glenn the owner :) what a great guy!! keep up the good work glenn!

    I proposed to my girlfriend on a Friday night. I was looking for a spot where we could get away to celebrate and came across Speidel House on the internet. We could not have asked for anything better. The house itself is beautiful, and there are a million things to do and look at. Glenn, the owner, made sure to make our engagement weekend a memorable experience. He prepared an excellent breakfast both mornings, told us interesting stories about the house and the things in it, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. This was a great value for a peaceful, clean, friendly place for a few days. We can't wait to go back again. Thank you, Glenn, for helping make our engagement so memorable.

    I slept like a baby because the room was so clean, comfortable and quiet with beautifully placed antiques. There was a hot tub on the deck overlooking the bay. We also ate breakfast one morning on the same deck. The bay is so peaceful. The hosts were friendly, pleasant and accomodating. I highly recommend the Speidel House as a wonderfully relaxing retreat.

    My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend, July 9-11. We had a great time. We wanted to come to Atlantic City to gamble for the weekend but could not afford the prices all the casinos were asking. The rates at the Speidel House are incredible. For what you would pay to stay at a casino on a Saturday night you could stay at the Speidel House for 3 nights, including Friday and Saturday. As if the rates were not great enough you get so much more. The service was great, both owners were the nicest people you could ever meet. The food was excellent. The first days breakfast we had breakfast sandwiches with fruit and the second day there were fruit stuffed french toast. We were both completely full and ready for the day. We stayed in the Amber room which is decorated in old war memorabilia. Its a very nice room with your own private bath and private deck that has views of the bay. It also has a little loft upstairs that is meant for kids to stay in with 2 twin beds, board games and a tv. My boyfriend actually spent some time up there while I was taking a nap. The bed is very comfortable with really soft silk sheets and a big comforter. The two things I look for most in any place I stay is cleanliness and bugs. This place is very clean, no hairs in the sink or even any dust, and absolutely NO bugs. I can not stress that enough because I really hate bugs and I will look for them so I was very relieved not to find any. In all this was a perfect find. I could not have asked for anything more. I will be staying here again soon when we have another chance to go back to AC. Thank you for a great weekend ~ Amanda & Paul

    My husband and I stayed at the Speidel House Sunday this past Memorial weekend. The Inn was exceptional and our room just amazing. The view of the bay and boats was beautiful and tranquil. Glenn our host could not have been any nicer. An exceptional cook and a pleasure to visit with. The Inn was clean and beautiful. Just 2 miles from Atlantic City.
