Belmar's oldest B&B, The Inn At The Shore (circa 1880) has it all when you're planning a Jersey Shore vacation. Conveniently located just 2 blocks from from Belmar's beautiful beach and brand new Boardwalk, and just 4 blocks from shopping, great restaurants and nightlife, The Inn offers complimentary use of beach badges, chairs and umbrellas... bicycles, Billiards and board games... a big, wide wraparound Porch, and outdoor seating on our garden patio... fireplaces and Jacuzzi baths in our Deluxe rooms... and as of July 2015, new owners Bill and Linda Neely and their many years experience in the restaurant, hotel and hospitality fields. Each day at The Inn begins with a complete Continental breakfast buffet from 7am, and a question: "What are you in the mood for?" Whether it's eggs, an omelet, pancakes, waffle, or French Toast, Chef Bill is always ready to cook your favorite breakfast, fresh to order, and Linda will serve you with a smile. After breakfast head down to the beach, explore the great town of Belmar, or just hang out at The Inn with Billiards in the Great Room, a game of Scrabble on the porch, or a juicy novel on the patio. You'll find virtually anything you like to do nearby, including, of course, nothing! Bill and Linda have created a new kind of getaway at The Inn At The Shore, and they'd love to show you what The Inn and Belmar are all about on your next Shore vacation.

A lovely, informal yet gracious inn just blocks from the oceanfront. The breakfast is served buffet style and there is something for everyone. The porch is lovely and has become the favorite place for our group. Best of all are Tom and Rosemary: wonderful, warm and just delightful!

Being only two blocks from the beach, The Inn is the place to stay for a beach lover's vacation. And at the end of a great day on Belmar's beautiful beach, relaxing on the wrap around porch is the perfect finish to a perfect day. Your innkeepers Tom and Rosemary couldn't be more accommodating , helpful, and a real pleasure.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over Memorial Day, and were so pleased ,that we booked back in for the Fourth of July Weekend. Rosemary and Tom are gracious hosts and two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. You really feel at home. The Inn is conveniently located. A short walk to the beach or up to town, and its many fine restaurants and marina. Our room was comfortable and clean. The Inn has a yesteryear charm to it. The large wrap around porch is great for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The breakfasts were delicious. We've had two perfect, classic Jersey Shore weekends this year with Rosemary and Tom, and we plan to return in the Fall. I highly recommend The Inn at the Shore.

My wife and I made last minute plans to stay at the shore for the long 4th of July weekend. To my surprise there was a room available at the Inn. The house is warm and comfy and Tom was very nice and friendly. The room was really small but it worked for us. Had a very nice peaceful weekend.

What Do You Feel Like Having?
Our mission here at The Inn At The Shore is to remove distractions, and at Breakfast we've done away with the menu limitations typical at B&Bs...they're too distracting. All of us have different tastes and needs at breakfast, and for each of us, those tastes and needs vary from day to day. So at The Inn we ask, "What do you feel like having?" Need a quick bite before your early run, then a nice big plate of Cinnamon-raisin French Toast after? No problem, just stop at our Continental Buffet on your way out, then settle down on the Patio with a fresh, full plate of the best French Toast you've ever had. Do you like a nice, thick, crispy waffle with blueberries and powdered sugar when you can get it? Have it tomorrow outside on the Porch, with your coffee and OJ. Are you an EggHead? An EggWhiteHead? OK, 3 eggs sunny-up with link sausage and hash browns, and an eggwhite omelet with broccoli, spinach, tomato, mushroom, asparagus and Goat cheese, side of turkey bacon. No problem, no problem. Eggs Benedict? No problem. No seriously, no problem. Yes, you can quote us, or print this out if you like so it's in writing. Porkroll, Egg and American cheese on whole grain toast? Sure, no problem. Pardon me, did you just say banana, coconut and chocolate chip whole wheat pancakes with scrambled eggs and a slab of ham?! Well....... No Problem! Yes, we're serious about our mission to provide our Guests with a distraction-free experience... and what could be less distracting than having exactly what you're in the mood for at Breakfast every morning?
