Wicker and lace mixed with hand painted furniture and stenciling evoke a breezy cottage charm. Wind chimes and ocean breezes draw you to our large screened in sunroom full of wicker furniture, perfect for curling up with a good book. Outside in our courtyard wrought iron tables and chairs are shaded with umbrellas for your comfort in daytime and lit with candles cafe style for evening gatherings. You are only steps away from the beautiful, white, sandy beaches of the Island, and just a leisurely stroll from wonderful restaurants and shops. Emphasis is on great location only 8 houses from the ocean. Wake to the heavenly aroma of breakfast which includes homemade breads and muffins from our kitchen, bagels and spreads, cereals, fruit, special blend coffee and a variety of teas. Sometimes we may even whip up our special cheese blintzes with fresh strawberries and whip cream. Cool off in the afternoon at teatime with refreshing pink lemonade or raspberry iced tea and tempting treats from the innkeepers’ kitchen. Planning a banquet or reception? Getting Married?     Stayed here for annual girls weekend. We enjoyed our private entrance and small patio area best of all. The entire B & B was very nice, public areas were easy to access and pleasant, and owners were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a bit small for three but the location was great - very close to everything but also quiet and removed a bit from the hustle bustle.. Breakfast was tasty but servings were a bit small. We enjoyed the food very much however. Overall a good experience and I imagine it is a great value in the off season.

    We had a great time at the Island Guest House. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are updated. Mark and Joanne were very accommodating, and the breakfasts were great! The location is w/in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and all attractions in Beach Haven. It is a relaxed atmosphere and we definitely felt like we were at home. We met some great people while we were there. It was definitely a great value for the area. We highly recommend staying there!

    A charming Inn full of personal care, history, and wonderfully located. With a piano, delicious home made breakfast served with hand cut mint, steps from the beach and very caring Innkeepers- it's hard to imagine a better choice.

    You cannot top this bed and breakfast! The breakfast is so delicious, colorful, creative and filling. The owners are delightful; I feel like they were friends of ours after just spending a long weekend there. Beach Haven is such a great coastal town...we really enjoyed our weekend here, and The Island Guest House made it even better! Everything is in walking distance from the house. Its very close to restaurants and stores. Our room --B4 was the perfect size, with a private bathroom. There were afternoon snacks and lemonade.. We highly recommend this B and B.
