My Wife and I rented the entire property for our bridal party and friends to stay in over memorial day weekend. We were married up in ship bottom and had our reception at the stateroom, but used the Island Guest House as a place to stay, and it served the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner. The house easily slept all 38 of us and had enough community space for everyone to hang out in. Mark and Joann went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect when we first arrived. Mark even worked all afternoon to set up outdoor speakers for us! The location of the Island Guest House is perfect! It is a short walk away from anything you need. (Murphy's, Bagel Shack, Chicken or the Egg, Fantasy Island and Bay Village to name a few and also just a few blocks from the beach). The property even included bikes for us and our friends to cruise around on. The pictures of the house online do not do the place justice. Once inside it feels like it never ends because it is so huge. there is no where else on the island that could accommodate all of us so comfortably. We had the perfect wedding weekend staying in this property!

We have stayed here seven times now and will definitely keep coming back! Mark and Joanne, who run the bed and breakfast, are very friendly and truly want their guests to have a great time. They are also extremely attentive to requests and even remember preferences when you return months later. They make you feel like family, and we really look forward to seeing them each time we come down. The breakfast is tasty and bikes and beach gear are provided. Biking on LBI is especially wonderful because the whole island has bike lanes and is flat.

I stayed here with my cousin for what we called our 'Girlcation'! Joanne was amazing and made us feel right at home. The rooms were adorable and very clean. We could smell breakfast cooking it the morning mmm! We enjoyed our days on the beach (right up the block!) and our nights on the patio. Great little getaway! We will be back!!!

Called for a last minute bookong last year, liked it so much came back this year for 10 days. They were very accomodating. It's like being home but you don't have to make your bed or do dishes. Great breakfasts each morning. Speak a wish & it's done. In the words of Arnold: "I'll BE BACK".
