Welcome to the Atlantic View Inn, a warm and comfortable Bed & Breakfast built over a century ago as a grand summer cottage overlooking the ocean. We have restored the Atlantic View Inn as a year-round retreat just for you.

The charm of an English seashore home is captured in furnishings of mahogany, antiques, traditional wicker and hand-painted pieces. Fireplaces and feather-beds complete an intimate atmosphere perfect for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Atlantic View Inn is conveniently located on the New Jersey shore - just 60 miles from New York City and Philadelphia. Its proximity to major highways (NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, I-195) make it a quick, simple trip from any direction.

FROM THE PHILADELPHIA AREA or NJ TURNPIKE:

Take NJ Turnpike Exit 7A for 195 East (Shore Points).

Proceed East on I-195 approximately 30 miles as Highway 195 becomes Highway 138 East past the Garden State Parkway(no turns necessary). Continue on Rt 138E for approx. 2 1/2 miles and bear left to Rt 35 North (Belmar). Continue around the bay on Rt35N across the bridge approx. 1/4 to the Avon exit (on right) to Rt 71/Main Street. Make a left on Rt71/Main Street, and first Right onto Woodland Avenue almost to the end. We are on the left near the beach. Our private parking is on the right side of our building. Park in the numbered spot that corresponds to your room number.

COMING FROM THE NORTH:

Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 100B. This will put you on Rt 33 East. Follow Rt 33E for 4 1/2 miles where it ends at Rt 71. Turn right and take Rt 71 South for one mile. Once entering Avon-by-the-Sea, make the third left onto Woodland Avenue and follow to the end. We are the next to last house on the left. Our private parking is on the right side of our building. Park in the numbered spot that corresponds to your room number.

FROM THE SOUTH:

Take the Garden State Parkway to exit 98. Go East on Rt 138 for approx. 2 1/2 miles and bear left to Rt 35 North (Belmar). Continue around the bay on Rt35N across the bridge approx. 1/4 to the Avon exit (on right) to Rt 71/Main Street. Make a left on Rt71/Main Street, and first Right onto Woodland Avenue almost to the end. We are on the left near the beach. Our private parking is on the right side of our building. Park in the numbered spot that corresponds to your room number.

Deposit amount required (For a one night stay, full payment at the time the reservation is taken. If a multiple night stay, 50% will be taken.)
Check in time is 2:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am
Cancellations:
Payments are refundable if notification is received at least 10 days prior to your arrival. If less then 10 days, we will refund the deposit if the room is rebooked. A $30.00 administration fee applies to all cancellations.
