Review The Bow Street Inn, Portsmouth, NH

    Photo Album

All rooms have queen size beds, cheerful comforters, private full bath, telephone, and cable color TV. We are a non smoking inn, and we serve an expanded continental breakfast offering various cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and homemade baked goods.
In addition to the harbor view, Room Seven is large enough to make an extended stay quite enjoyable. With a desk, small refrigerator, couch and a number of easy chairs, it is great for business or pleasure.History surrounds the 19th century brick buildings that line the harbor area. The Bow Street Inn is in just such a building on the "Portsmouth Harbour Trail." The inn is unique in its location above a performing arts theater and in the center of historic downtown Portsmouth. The Bow Street Inn is within easy walking distance to all the shops, theater, restaurants, historic homes and museums in Portsmouth. The Inn is also located so guests can enjoy the entire Seacoast as well as the coast of Maine just over the bridge. The White Mountains also offer more senic vistas within driving distance for a day trip.
Room Six offers a view of Portsmouth's working port. It is delightfully decorated and offers the guest a pleasant place to stay, while exploring all Portsmouth has to offer.
