My husband and I treat one another on our birthday's by going to a special bed and breakfast to start our new birth year together. Walking into this property we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and clean new addition to the inn which includes all the guest rooms, dining room and deck. All of the areas were stellar!! Exceptionally clean and inviting. We were greeted by our very warm host Rob who showed us our room. We could see the river from our room and the sounds of it were very hynotic. We both slept like babies. In the morning, refreshed from our wonderful sleep, we met Paula in the breakfast room with a lovingly prepared gourmet breakfast made from scratch with organic ingredients. Absolutely delicious and heavenly coffee. A great way to start the day. Paula is an excepional baker and I was pleased later in the evening to have a Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting waiting for me for my birthday. The owners pay very close attention in meeting your needs for a hospitable stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed here in November for a anniversary weekend. I was looking at several places to stay in the area, but chose Little River. As soon as we arrived I knew we made the right choice. I have worked in the hospitality industry for years, and I honestly have NO complaints. Room was spotless and spacious. Inn Keepers Rob and Paula were knowlegable about the area, and gave great recomendations. Breakfast was excellent if you like things a little different...( I would have been fine with just some pancakes) but it was free, so no complaining. We felt cosy in the house, but our privacy was never inturrupted. They RECYCLE here...and COMPOST as well! Short drive to the downtown area where there is lots to do. Would stay here again for a quiet weekend "away from it all."

Our comments echo all the others that have written. At breakfast this morning the guests commented on how comfortable the beds are. The owners are very personable and interested in their guests. We were delighted by the quality of the nearby restaurant called Brady's American Grill, and the river provided a lovely view. We took a walk this morning and enjoyed the crisp air and the nice sights. A great weekend break at a very affordable price.

I'm no doubt going to shoot myself in the foot by posting this. We absolutely loved our 2 night stay over Columbus Day Weekend. We lucked into it due to a cancellation. I say I'm shooting myself in the foot because by posting this (and I never post stuff like this) it will no-doubt be harder to get a room the next time, or perhaps they will become so popular they may choose to raise their very reasonable rates. You can look at the pictures on the site, but no photos are going to capture the warmth and hospitality of Rob and Paula, nor are you going to sense how wonderful our breakfasts were. You also won't feel how good (and romantic) the gas fireplace felt, or how truly well-thought out and comfortable our room was. I am no-doubt going to sound like a shill for them, but I simply felt that I owe it to two people who provided such a wonderful stay and gave us such excellent tips for seeing the area. They deserve the accolades and all the business they can get. They got it right. -Elliot & Andrea
