4.8 out of 5Nereledge Inn B&B
November 07, 2012
My stay at Nereledge Inn was wonderful. I arrived on a very cold and rainy evening and after a long drive I found the Inn to be very cozy and comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming. My visit to North Conway was greatly enhanced by the personal attention I recieved from the Inn. I had helful tips and directions on everything from where to eat, where to buy books on the local area, sights to see and when was the best time to go. I was directed to places I never would have discovered on my own. It truely made visiting the White Mountians more rewarding. The Nereledge Inn B&B is in a great location for walking to places in town or a very short drive. The breakfast was a great start to a day of exploring. It was tasty and satisfying. The room was comfortable. The public areas were cozy and spacious. I felt very much at home here.

4.0 out of 5Excellent B&B in attractive small town
September 07, 2012
The Nereledge Inn is a traditional B&B only a short stroll from the centre of North Conway with its excellent selection of restaurants and shops. It's a quaint old building with lots of character and rocking chairs on the verandah. The main plus is the hospitality and helpfulness of the innkeeper, Steve, who can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable and is a mine of information about the White Mountains area. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and chose the Inn because of previous posts about the friendliness and knowledge of the owner about hiking in the area. We were not disappointed! The owner was a wealth of knowledge about where to hike and gladly sat down at breakfast to review this with us. The Inn has a lot of charm and is just far enough away from the hubub of town to make it restful, but still convenient to dining, shopping, etc. It was a very busy weekend and even the summit of Mt. Washington was crawling with people. The Innkeepers kept their cool and seemed to enjoy the guests.

4.0 out of 5Triumph through adversity!
August 13, 2012
As we arrived at Nereledge, we met Steve and Laura in their car, and learned that Steve had recently had surgery on broken bones in his lower back! However, they were continuing to run their charming, quirky B and B to a quality and standard that reflected their determination to make sure their guests had a great stay. The building is full of character, the rooms are small but more than adequate, and all 4 of our party slept really well in the very comfortable beds. Breakfasts were cooked to order, with fresh ingredients and were lovely! Steve then took the time to ask us (and all the other guests) where we were planning to go, and gave some great advice (although we didn't agree with his recommendation of Littleton!!). A short walk into town, where we enjoyed 2 meals (again, as recommended), helped to complete our very lovely time in North Conway. Don't go to the Nereledge if you want a character-less, functional, bland experience, but do go for a unique, quirky, interesting, comfortable, and friendly place to stay!
4.8 out of 5Wonderful B&B!
August 03, 2012
My boyfriend and I visited for a long weekend to celebrate my 27th birthday. I've wanted to stay at at B&B since I was a little girl and we love the white mountains, so this seemed the perfect location. The house is charmingly old, exactly what you imagine when you think of a B&B. Additionally, the rates are lower than most in the area, even though the location is wonderful. Probably the best part of the experience though were Steve and Laura (the owners). During breakfast, Steve touched base with everyone staying there to offer customized recommendations of activities for the day. For us, his recommendations of hiking trails and bike routes were spot-on and as an added benefit weren't places I would have found in a tourist guide. Some notes on things that we were initially concerned about. The gear room is perfectly safe (we were initially worried about our bikes). Also, the cats listed on the website were kept away from the guests so I think it would probably even be fine for someone who has an allergy. Also, the rooms with a queen bed and twin bed are perfectly suitable for a couple. From the way the rooms fill on the online reservations, it looks like people shy away from them but we actually found it nice to have the extra space. My final word of praise is for the muffins. Steve made a different flavor every day we were there and my boyfriend loved them!

The Nereledge Inn is rustic in a good way. I have been there many times and keep returning, so that tells you something. Comfortable, with good location and value. The food is good and Steve and Laura are super helpful.

The sloping floors in our room were a bit unexpected but the hospitality and yummy breakfast were nice.
