Kearsarge Inn

Great play to stay in New Hamphire's White Mountain region! The proximity to town, comfort and cleanliness of the room and hospitality of the staff can not be beat! My room lost a start because it was a bit warm being situated just above the laundry area and only one of the windows had a screen. The value lost a star because they only serve coffee in the morning (some fruit would be nice)...however the local breakfast spots are FABulous! Make sure you go to Peaches for their outstanding Peaches and Cream Coffe Cake!

The room was much bigger than we'd expected. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed (but we didn't use the tub in the main room!). We'd been traveling for several days so we were happy to find that there was a laundro-mat right next door. The inn is within walking distance of several places to eat and shop. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

This bed and breakfast was clean, convenient and comfortable. I would go again and be prepared to get food elsewhere since that's not available through the Kearsarge. But there is food nearby.

Very charming, comfortable and superb location! Walking distance to quaint shops and dining. Within minutes to Outlets and Tubing on the Saco. Would highly recommend!!!

Great rooms and service here. The location is the best - short walk to the main street with all its shops and restaurants! They only serve coffee, juice and tea in the mornings, but I knew this when I reserved the room - may as well get out in the fresh air and enjoy North Conway's delicious eats!

There is no dining or breakfast at the inn nor any coupons to use at local establishments. In the wintertime, this is slightly inconvenient upon waking up and wanting a coffee and food to start the day off right. I like to read a newspaper and enjoy a quiet moment in my room while eating my first meal of the day.

Extremely friendly staff, beautiful rooms, conveinent location to all shops.

Room is large. Nice stroll to best breakfast and downtown.

This place is very homey and the rooms are wonderful and clean. Just know that they only offer Coffee & Tea no other breakfast. However the rooms far outweigh this. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have no qualms about returning and enjoying the area again. Watch their website for deals as we got 3 nights for the price of 2!! Enjoy!

This is a cute little Inn that met most of my expectations. It was very clean and the room was spacious. There were several antiques in the room that added to the charm; unfortunately, the mattress was one of them and needs to be replaced ASAP. The coffee was exceptional but this is the first Bed and Breakfast that I've been to that doesn't serve breakfast...not even a cold continental....only coffee and tea. So if you are looking for a very clean, reasonably priced room in North Conway, this fits the bill. If you want a true Bed and Breakfast, look elsewhere.

This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast in New England. I was hesitant at first because I was dreading floral wallpaper and out-dated furniture. This was not the case. Modern amenities, comfortable bed, and large super clean bathrooms were a great suprise. There was a gas fireplace as well. No breakfast but good coffee, tea, and juice in the am. Would recommend!

Great time, great room. My only wish is that they kept the coffee pot full in the morning.

The location and price for this place makes it a great choice. The room was large and comfortable, and the price was great.

We have been traveling to the White Mountain area for years, but this was the first time we have ever stayed at the Kearsarge Inn. Since 4th of July weekend was still considered the Spring season, the room rates were extremely reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean, roomy, and nicely decorated both of our rooms were and how extremely pleasant and amazingly helpful the staff was. The day before our arrival, one member of our party was involved in a hiking accident that resulted in a broken leg. Upon our arrival at the Inn, the staff quickly sprang into action to move him into an accessible room that made maneuvering on crutches much easier. They checked to be sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed for his stay. Watching the North Conway fireworks from the porch of the Inn was another unexpected bonus. Morning coffee was strong enough for an avid coffee drinker like me. The location for wandering around the many town shops and nearby restaurants was very convenient as well. We will definitely return to the Kearsarge Inn next time we visit North Conway. Dining is noted as below average basically because there is no food service. This was only a minor inconvenience as there is a sufficient variety of eating establishments within walking distance.

Recently, my girlfriend and I spent two days at the inn. The room we stayed in (the cottage in the back) was terrific. It was spacious and wonderfully decorated. The front desk was extremely helpfully in assisting which local attractions we should visit. The service was fantastic. We bought a bottle of wine but did not have a corkscrew. We left the bottle on the desk while we went sightseeing and came back to a wonderful surprise. Not only had they brought us a corkscrew but two glasses all while chilling the bottle for us. I really recommend this Inn to anyone and will tell all my family and friends to stay there, as well.

I spent one night in early April 2011 in Kearsarge Inn with my friend. We booked the Select 1 room online and were very satisfied. The room has excellent decor, quality furniture and was very quiet and clean. We were amazed at the real fireplace. The staff were super friendly and showed me their deluxe and luxury rooms when I mentioned I wish to spend my birthday here. All in all I enjoyed my experience and wish to come back.

The Inn was conveniently located in walking distance from the shops downtown. Also a short drive from the outlets. The room was very clean and had a private entrance, I would highly recommend staying here!

Spacious clean rooms. Cozy. Convenient to town on foot. They serve coffee/tea/cocoa. Coffee needs to be sTrOnGeR. : ) We are planning on returning this winter season.

I went off-season for a business trip and the innkeeper was pleasant and made sure I made myself at home, even stopping by briefly the next day to make sure I didn't need anything. I think I was upgraded without asking (I requested a room in the main inn when I made my reservation, but was given a cabin room instead, in the smallest building out back). The space was immaculate and comfortable with a gas fireplace, my own thermostat and private entrance. The TV wasn't fancy, but I didn't use it anyway. My only suggestion would be to put a desk or small table of sorts in each of the rooms. There was a lot of space in there, not much furniture and being on a business trip, I wished I had somewhere to work other than on the bed (though it was a very comfy bed, so I can't complain too much). I'll definitely be staying again if I'm in the area!

I stayed at the Kearsarge Inn for 3 nights and it was excellent. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will certainly go back here again!!! Manoj

What a wonderful surprise to find such a lovely inn, right in North Conway village! Will definitely stay there again.

The Kearsarge Inn was wonderful. We arrived in the middle of pouring rain and were greeted by many smiles and they took us to our room and even started the gas stove for us. They were very helpful getting us a menu and reservations at the restaurant next door that they are associated with. It was nice and quiet and separate unlike some hotels. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we are definitely going to go back. I would recommend this to anyone, from families to couples just trying to get away.

We stayed for only a night, but we had a nice room. It was very clean with a large bathroom. The location was nice as it was only a block from all the little shops of North Conway. We ate dinner right next door at Decades steak house which was good.

The Kearsage Inn is right in the heart of downtown North Conway. We were able to walk downtown within seconds which for us was key. Room was a little pricey but I imagine that's what you pay in the heart of the action. It is not a bed and breakfast. If you're looking for location I would reccommend the Kearsage Inn

Restaurants recommended (that the property owns) were not to the same standard as the facilities - Food was pretty below standard at Decades -Steaks were fatty and ambiance of the old Ground Rounds. We picked two different bottles of wine at Wildcat Tavern and they were out of both. We also listened to the server tell other tables about the specials they were out of. Not really pleased with the dinning overall in North Conway.

Breakfast was pretty lame. Had to go out to eat. Suggest the bathroom needs a small table to place personal items on. Over priced for what we got.

We were the only two people who stayed at inn those two nights so they upgrated us to master suite, very nice of them, however, no maid service the next day (they forgot about us) so left a bad taste in our mouths....wouldn't go back to this b&b. greg potter salem ma

I booked the Kearsarge Inn for a last minute road trip and was I ever pleasantly surprised! Its location is excellent for walking around downtown North Conway but being on a side street, it is very quiet. The rooms were super clean and excellently appointed with all the important amenities and comfortable bedding. The Inn was very quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer!!

We had a wonderful time at the Kearsarge! The room was fantastic and we took advantage of the midweek discount so it was an amazing value for the money. They also own several of the local businesses including the steakhouse next door (which was good, but the ambiance could have been better). Oh, excellent location too- all the shops are just around the corner.

When my wife and I pulled up to the Kearsarge Inn, I noticed it was on a quiet road and near the main street where many great places to eat and shop were. The staff was one of the most friendly Ive meet and offered us cookies and coffee apon entering the home. The biggest surprise for me was the room. It was huge! It had a very soft bed and chair. Also I was inpressed with the bath room. It had a tub and a standing shower next to it. i cant wait to go back when we have more free time.

Very impressed with the Kearsarge Inn overall -- both in the accommodations and the attentiveness of its staff. It is located within the "village" having ample parking spaces and situated off a side street. It does not have a full breakfast but a contintental offering but is within awalking distance of many great breakfast places. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed -- complete with gas fireplaces and comfortable sitting arrangements. I would recommend this property highly without hestiation.
