Cranmore Mountain Lodge

All the great things other reviewers have said are true, so I won't repeat. Besides, it is the little things that really make this a special place. Firstly it is important to point out that this is an LGBT friendly establishment. We all hear the horror stories of couples being turned down for wedding services, or sneered at for wanting just one bed in the room. Since it wasn't clear on the site or mentioned in other reviews, I had to ask before booking (This is their home where they raise their children, & we respect other's beliefs even if we disagree). Freddie assured me they didn't care, & upon our arrival my wife & I found we had been upgraded to what seemed like a "Honeymoon Suite" complete with little hearts on the wallpaper and a jacuzzi in the room! YESSSS! Sight - The building itself is in good repair, in a perfect country setting. About 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown North Conway, yet far enough away to escape any light & noise pollution - the sparkle of the stars at night was lumonious! Sound - The honking geese and wildlife during the day, then the soothing chorus of the bullfrogs & crickets at night is enough to make anyone never care to return to the city. Taste - Freddie's breakfast - need I say more??? Touch & Smell - The perfectly fresh & crisp linens on the bed, I am surprised I was ever able to leave it to get into the hot tub! Would we return? Wish we were still there. Thank you Frederique and Thierry for welcoming us into your home. I highly recommend this establishment.

This family run B&B is superb. The couple who run this lodge have, with their origins and backgrounds, sense of humor, warm, sensitivity, generosity, kindness and creativity that make our stay there this fall season a superb vacation. The lodge is gorgeous, full of space, and comfortable. The surrounding scenery, especially during the Fall, is so magical and relaxing. I could not help to keep on releasing the shuttle of my camera. I would show my Singaporean friends the beautiful shots I took, and share with them what a wonderful experience we had in this B&B.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights. Even though our room was very small, it was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic!! The Cranmore is in a key location, very near to town and several attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Cranore Montain Lodge, especially the warm welcome by the owners and the outstanding breakfasts.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely old inn. It is located on a very quiet street. The only downsides was that room we stayed in was very small, little difficult to manage. I missed having some comfortable chairs although the wouldn't fit in the small room. The shower was extremely small. We had a difficult time working the door key in the old door. The bed, though, was very comfortable and we liked the old furniture. Everything else was just outstanding. Full breakfasts were just excellent, served by a very pleasant young man. The downstairs living rooms and dining room were very comfortable. We did not use the available hottub and pool, but enjoyed walking around the pond and back yard. The mountain brook in the back is so picturesque and lovely. We would certainly come back for another visit.

The waitstaff was professional and courteous, the owners great and accomodating, our first B and B experience and we will be back. We have found a new place to stay in North Conway! Best breakfasts ever (included with room rate!). Alan and Janet, Dennis MA

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We stayed in Room 7, the "JFK Room", which was nice and bright, with an en suite bathroom and a view of the pool area. One of the main selling points for us in deciding to stay here was the included breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start our mornings in North Conway. The owners were very friendly, and it was refreshing to know that they cared about their business and it reminded us of how important it is to support local businesses like this one (as opposed to staying in a hotel chain). Highly recommended!

The owners are very nice, friendly, welcoming. Well located near many restaurants. The jacuzzi is a big plus. The breakfasts were delicious and the portions generous, a great way to start the day before hikking.

There are 2 buildings on the property. The actual house - with a common living area and game room and the "outhouse". We stayed in the other building. The lodge is close to the North Conway town center. In comparison with other inns/ bed and breakfast in the area this lodge does not boast a great view. Our host, Frederique was very friendly and made sure we felt welcome. The room was clean, and very functional. There was a microwave and small fridge in our room, as well as hairdryers. We enjoyed our stay here and the morning breakfast was very decent as well (they give you a menu from which you get to choose 1 item, they will give you more if you pay extra). They have a hot tub and swimming pool but we never used those facilities.

My sons and I have been coming to Cranmore Lodge for 6 years. We always enjoy out stay. This was out first time on the Ghost and Goblin Tour, We had a blast. What fun going Inn to Inn and such great treats. Cranmore Lodge has the loveliest rooms. You feel like your staying with family. Very clean and accommodating. Freddie makes the best breakfasts. Nicest B&B we have ever stayed at. Incredible breakfast and family comforts. Would love to visit Cranmore Mountain Lodge again! The property and surrounding hiking trails by the stream in the back are gorgeous.

We had a lovely 2 night stay as part of our holiday/vacation in New England. We were warmly welcolmed by Freddie, who showed us around the house and grounds, and made recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. At breakfast the food was very good and the waiting staff excellent and attentive. We enjoyed our stay as a couple, but thought that this seemed a good place to stay for families too and for those travelling with dog(s). My husband and I found the Cranmore Mountain Lodge as a result of a last minute search for a 3 day rest and retreat. We were not disappointed! Freddy greeted us and gave us a tour of the lovely grounds, and helped us to get settled. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the room--everything was sparkling clean and not a speck of dust to be found. Accommodations included a full breakfast cooked to order which was delicious (I loved the Mediterranean Eggs!) and the breakfast room was cozy and clean. Gui, the innkeepers' son, was the perfect host! We consider the Cranmore Mountain Lodge a hidden jewel for those who prefer a quiet and quaint atmosphere, away from the activity of North Conway Village/Route 16, yet close enough to do all the things we wanted to do. We would recommend this inn to anyone, and plan to go back again soon! L & D, Framingham, MA

A fabulous bed and breakfast in the mountains of North Conway. We were greeted warmly, given a tour and shown to our room. The pool was clean and inviting and the grounds were well kept. The breakfast was outstanding. I highly suggest this as a weekend getaway. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at Cranmore Mountain Lodge during our first visit to Storyland. Freddie allowed us to check in early so that we could get the kids settled before a long day at the park. She gave us the tour of the premises, which included the pool, hot tub, tennis courts, creek with fish, and backyard hiking trails. Inside, there was a recreation room with a TV, DVDs and VHS tapes and lots of board games and a train table for kids. Across the hall is a sitting room with a piano and guitar. We were not able to take advantage of these amenities but it was nice to know that they were available if we were ever to come back and spend more time there. Our room was small but pleasant, with two double beds and a private bathroom. They provided lots of travel-size samples to use and they even have a dark-colored make-up towel so that they don't have to use excessive amounts of bleach to keep the white towels clean. This was just one example of how they are environmentally conscious and try to reduce the size of their carbon footprint. The children of the innkeepers served us breakfast at private tables in the dining room. Everything we ordered was delicious: pancakes, cinnamon French toast, and omelets. The kids' menu portions were generous and you can order additional food for a small extra charge. We would consider coming back to CML again when we return next year. It is very convenient to Storyland but off the beaten path so that you feel like you are really on a peaceful retreat.

For a quiet evening and with enjoyable company, this B&B was perfect! As the only guests at the inn for the night, we had the whole place to ourselves and the hostess was perfectly friendly and helpful! We had the Parisian room which was quaint and beautiful, making our stay wonderful!

What a nice place to go away for the weekend and we were able to bring our dog which was priceless. The breakfast was great!

this was the 2nd time we stayed and were very pleased again. the staff is very friendly and helpful! north conway is a fun town to check out with lots of good shopping and dinning. and breakfast at the lodge is excellent! love the pancakes and applesauce!

Stayed one night on the property. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early in the morning, so we didn't get to fully enjoy it. The breakfast was fantastic, though. Would stay again when in the area.

We love North Conway and usually stay at one of the hotel chains up there. I'm so pleased we decided to pick the Cranmore Mountain Lodge for our last visit! We took up my brother-in-law and his wife for their first ski trip and it felt great to be able to put them up in a unique room with lots of character and be able to use the adults communal space to finish our night with a glass of port by the fire. Breakfast was great (we had two vegans in the group and were wonderfully catered for), and supporting local businesses is something I really love doing. Great work guys! We'll be back next season.

My family and I have stayed at Cranmore Mountain Lodge for the last four or five years. The innkeepers, Frederique and Thierry, are very accommodating. The rooms are spotless; and the location allows easy access to Cranmore, shopping and downtown N. Conway. It is always quiet enough to sleep and you feel very at home there. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in staying in a bed and breakfast in North Conway.

The Cranmore Mountain Lodge provided a cozy and cost effective base for skiing in the area.

This Lodge had good reviews, that is why we stayed there. Upon arriving I was told by the owner to get to breakfast buy 7:30a.m. or they could not guarantee they could seat us. They had over 50 people staying and only 47 seats. Second, we went to our room and there laying in our bed was a few deceased flies(we had a fly problem, in 29 degree weather, the whole stay). The sheets were dirty with many hairs all over them. Third, there was a shortage of toilet paper. Apparently there are toilet paper thieves and they can't stock the rooms with toilet paper. Food was ok, I have had better at many other B&B's for a lot less. Finally, the door to our room would not deadbolt. The door was so off the deadbolt didn't line up. Definitely would NOT recommend this Lodge to anyone.

We welcome each guest by greeting them, showing them the common rooms, giving them advice for dinner, and when we have a full house (which was the case), letting them know that breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9 am, so if they have plans for early morning activities (such as ski lessons), it is always better to come earlier than later. We just don’t want you to arrive for breakfast at 8:30 for a ski lesson at 9 and not be able to take a relaxing breakfast on time! We are sorry you misunderstood the message and thought you wouldn’t be able to be seated! The flies unfortunately found in your room are “cluster flies” that are born and die in a few hours in winter. They are like these ladybugs that you can find sometimes in your house in the middle of the winter. We treated the room several times but unfortunately, when it is getting warmer outside, they might appear… and die. We will definitely address again this issue. This is not because our room is dirty! As for the dirty linens (with hair and dirt on them???) we are speechless!

My family (2 adults, 4 kids and 1 dog) just returned from a long weekend at Cranmore. I cannot say enough about this Bed & Breakfast. The InnKeepers are very friendly and hospitable. They took care of all our needs. Our room was beautiful and met all of our needs. The breakfast every morning was outstanding! This B&B is within a 2 minute ride to Cranmore Mountain, which allowed us to make the most of our ski weekend. We will definitely be back.

Awesome breakfast! Love the hot tub! This was our 3rd stay here and we continue to go back because we love the friendliness of the innkeepers. I would highly recommend the Cranmore Mountain Lodge to anyone looking for a quant getaway close to all that the North Conway region has to offer!

We did the All Inclusive Ski and Stay package, it was a great get away. In addition to all of the extras included in the package the inn keepers and staff were extremely nice and attentive. We will certainly visit again!! We had a fabulous time and all for a really great price. It is a quaint lodge with a real "homey" feel. Thank you Freddie and Thierry for everything!!

check in involved a kind of reluctant tour with no friendly conversation. the room smelled funny and there were a couple flies. any time we needed something we had to ring a doorbell and someone would eventually appear and make us feel as though we were terribly inconveniencing them. "could we have a couple bowls and spoons?" "for what?" "i'm with another guest." I was changing in my room and without knocking, the owner walked in. There was no sign available to ask them to not disturb or make the bed. When she found an electical device she didnt want in my room she was incredibly rude. Breakfast was okay. They dont salt or sand the ice in the pathways. We felt very uncomfortable and could not wait to leave.

Check-in is always a good time to get to know each other and we always take this opportunity to present you the inn and our services in order to serve you better. We are only 2 innkeepers and it might be a challenge to answer your questions and requests during a conversation with other guests. We are trying to get everyone our special attention, and not just one person, and this is extremely disturbing when a guest interrupt us to get our immediate attention. As for the electrical device, we must admit that it was a surprise to find a crockpot with a stew cooking in it in the room and explained it was violating the fire code regulations. If our guests want to do some cooking while staying with us, we have some suites with kitchenette that are much more appropriate.

Very nice staff and a great room in the Loft Building. Wood paneling made it seem as if you were right on slopeside. It was only five minutes from Cranmore and the breakfast was great and served very quickly. I highly recommend it.

We've stayed there more than once. Each time, we search the internet to see what's available in N. Conway. And then we go back to Cranmore Mtn Lodge.

This was a good location, fairly near to bustling North Conway NH but in a quiet neighborhood. Normally I don't sleep all that well in places I am not used to but here I slept like a log! The owners were promptly present upon arrival and departure. Breakfast was tasty and the service excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cranmore Mt Lodge, albeit short, just one night. We were able to arrive early: thank you to the innkeepers who were kind enough to let us come in early! We loved the living rooms and our room was great, up on the 3rd floor. Plenty of space. My husband and kids ski/boarded the day we checked out and it was just perfect for us! We look forward to returning soon.

We arrived at the lodge after a day of Skiing at Mt. Cranmore and were greeted immediately by the Innkeeper. Our third floor room was pleasant and clean. It turns out we were the only guests that night but that could be expected during the week before Christmas. The Lodge was nicely decorated for the holiday and we found it very welcoming. The public area (living room and dining area) were pleasant. We built a fire after dinner in town and spent some time relaxing in the living groom and playing a game. I would highly recomend Cranmore Mountain Lodge.

Thank you for welconing us, we had great fun and loved the fireplace. Room was tight for three (esp. women). But, breakfast was nice and the service was outstanding.

We really loved staying at the Cranmore Inn. My wife picked it out when she found out Babe Ruth's daughter had owned it and the Babe stayed there frequently. We actually stayed in the room where he had many times which I thought was cool. The Procyk's were really great and provided excellent service. The location is perfect and they are reasonably priced. The breakfast, which was included, was one of the best I've ever had. I'd stay there again in a minute.

We picked the Lodge because we felt the Ghoulogg package was a great deal (even if we only used the $30 voucher for Rafferty's). The Lodge was not as close to the main drag as I had thought, you need your car for that:-( The lodge was great, the french toast was great,,unfortunatly the toast that came with the omelette the next day had way to much butter which almost spoilt the whole breakfast. I would of given them a better rating if they hadn't changed our inital room reservation. I spent almost an hour looking at all the rooms because some of the rooms had reallly busy wallpaper which I knoew would of botered me and we ended up being given the room I really hadn''t wanted..even though it was considered an update. We probably will stay somewhere else next time we come back which is too bad seeing they have an amazing backyard with a pond which would be great in the spring/summer!!

We loved our stay at Cranmore Mt Lodge. A beautiful Inn, with excellent breakfasts (both for regular food and gluten-free and vegetarian options), great service, and a great location. Just a half an hour from hiking, and minutes from the lovely town of North Conway. We spent only a few days there, but it was so lovely and refreshing that we felt like we'd had a whole week of vacation!

We were fortunate to stay at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge in the Babe Ruth room (#2) on 9/18/10. This lodge is a very quaint place and has wonderful decor. When you enter the lodge, it feels like you stepped into a different place in time and it makes you feel very comfortable and at home. On 9/19, we had a wonderful breakfast of omelets, hash browns, eggs, bacon, homemade toast with jellies. The orange juice appeared to be freshly squeezed and their coffee was one of the best we have had in a very long time. The wait staff was extremely nice and very efficient. The owner of the lodge came to every table to greet their guests and to ensure that their food and stay was wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the lodge, plenty of land and a very nice stream with rocks to relax by. What a great country lodge in North Conway where you can enjoy yourself and feel relaxed. We would definitely stay here again.

The lodge is amazing and I would recomend that anyone traveling to or through New Hamsphire should stay there. The owners are kind, and very knowledgable. Fredi made us the most amazing breakfasts and she was able to point us in the right directions as far as navigating around and what we would like to do and see! It is close enough to town but off the beaten path so you get the feel of the woods! I can't wait to go back!

September 4 - 6, 2010 I went to the White Mountains hiking with my two teen age sons. The Lodge was a great place to stay. We did serious mountain hiking both days. The hearty breakfasts sustained us and the hot tub in the evening soothed our muscles. We were able to relax in the fireplace room and eat our take out dinner the first night. Clean, well appointed and quiet rooms made our stay the best. I will come back to the Cranmore Mountain Lodge again.

Our family stayed two nights in the midst of a New England road trip drawn by gluten-free food for the kids. Quiet, few guests in a large B&B. Property OK; food commercial, OK. Next time will stay at the local Hampton Inn & go to Rafferty's for its huge & tasty gluten-free menu.

Our breakfast as well as our gluten free breakfast is completely prepared from scratch and we are surprised to read about “food commercial”! We work a lot with Rafferty’s restaurant for its huge gluten free menu and would like to pinpoint that we ARE NOT a restaurant but propose a gluten free breakfast menu to accommodate families with gluten allergy, at no extra charge. Our gluten free menu is not as extended as Rafferty’s, of course, but we are proud to propose a good choice of gluten free options! And finally, we are so disappointed that we were not able to win your heart from the big chain hotels.

My fiance and I booked a room at the Cranmore for his birthday. We went hiking/camping in the white mountains the night before and wanted something clean, nice and comfy for his birthday night. To be honest, when we pulled up to the Cranmore we thought we were going to be disappointed...the front of the lodge doesn't look like much, but the inside was well worth it. Our room was just perfect! Clean, tidy and very charming. The back of the lodge offered a large grassy area where we had a little evening BBQ and got to relax in the back undisturbed all evening. There is a little brook in the back that was worth dipping our feet into. The next morning we had a fabulous breakfast with wonderful service. I would definitely recommend the Cranmore for a little after mountain recovery! It was well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my second time staying here. Great value and convenient location. Close to North Conway but off of the main highway. Clean, historic, quiet, with tasty breakfasts. Gluten-free and other food allergies accommodated at no extra cost. Well stocked game room with movies to borrow, library room with several guitars and a piano. Very friendly innkeepers.

Freddie is incredibly hospitable; nice location and building. The breakfast was unbelievable! Order from a menu, gourmet treats served with a smile and all part of room rate! Check out Cranmore!

We have stayed at big luxury hotels, and at small housekeeping cabins in the White Mountains. We think that Cranmore Mt. Lodge is the best place to stay. The rooms are historic, yet very clean and beautiful....gourmet breakfasts with immediate coffee....a pond behind the lodge with happy, croaking frogs. Behind the open lawns runs a crystal mountain stream, over ancient rocks. There is a pathway beside it in the pine woods. The hosts are always available, but never intrusive. We would stay nowhere else after decades of visiting in the White Mountains........

Once again, after coming down from a two- or three-day hiking in the White Mountains, there is nothing better than the homey, relaxed atmosphere offered by the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We are writing to let you know about the wonderful weekend we spent at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We booked The Doggie Getaway Package, and it was a delight for all. Our dog enjoyed his playtime, hike and pawdicure not to mention the doggie ice-cream..while we got to enjoy dinner, shopping and time to ourselves. A perfect spot to relax or hit all the sites. Skiing was a blast, and our host and hostess Frederique and Thierry were delightful. We will certainly stay here again. Accomodations very clean, food delicious! I found Cranmore Mnt. Resort on line and was greatly pleased with this eco-conscious, friendly, European-natural down to earth atmosphere. The room was excellent, clean and well kept, and the fire place was all laid out for a match and wahllah! A perfect cozy evening away from home in the middle of mountain magic. I will pass this find along to family and friends and know I'll be back.

Received a very friendly welcome when we arrived at the B&B late in the evening. The room was nice and warm upon arrival and special dog treats were waiting for puppy. Very nice surprise and absolutely thoughtful. The breakfast the next day was also quite surprising. The selection of meals was huge. The service was all around outstanding and you really felt right at home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the lodge. My wife and I have always enjoyed B&Bs and were thrilled to find one so family friendly. Our girls loved the room and the pool and especially the hottub. Breakfasts were very tasty and Liz and Kim, the Inns support staff, were very friendly, warm, and spirited. Last but hardly least, the innkeepers were equally warm and welcoming. This is a great place to stay in the White Mts for families (and baseball fans).

Was quite nice. The bedroom and bathroom were quite roomy and clean. And the Inn is just the right distance away from the main North Conway downtown area to provide you with peace and quiet and a real country feel. We loved our stay. The gluten-free breakfast menu was incredible and so delicious. The Inn is on a quiet road, the property is like a private park.

My family and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the lodge. The rooms were clean, the breakfast superb and the grounds kept in great condition. I highly recommend it.

A lovely Inn in a spectacular setting. Owners do whatever it takes to make your stay memorable. Satyed in a two bedroom suite, which was perfect for us and two 12 year old girls. Would definately stay again.

We stayed with our 4 year old and he felt right at home. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was AMAZING, and the amenities were many. To top it off, the WONDERFUL innkeepers are doing all of this with the environment in mind. Truly a gem!

Wonderful place in the White Mountains. I have stayed here before and always enjoyed it. My son 14 - 16 had fun by the brook, fishing in the pond and playing ping pong. The hot tub is a great place to relax after a day of hiking. The fireplace room is cozy and a a nice place to eat take out for dinner. The hosts are nice and treat you like family. Breakfast is a real treat. I will have been there in all 4 seasons. Always much to do.

My boyfriend and I recently spent the weekend at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. It was a little piece of heaven and only 5 minutes from downtown Conway. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The property its self is beautiful. You could go for a walk by the pond or river, even shoot some hoops at the basketball courts. Most importantly the value was exceptional. I would highly recommend the lodge for families. Great location, Wonderful Service, Relaxing atmosphere. We were looking for a weekend get away that was both fun and relaxing and at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge we found it. We will definitely be returning for years to come.

We did the March Maple Madness, and Freddy was the perfect hostess and really helped us plan and have an amazing weekend! Adorable room in a perfect location. We had Suite 17, our own private entrance right onto the parking lot, a quite spacious room and a jacuzzi bath. We'll definitely be returning.

Freddie, the owner was extremely courteous and gracious. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. The french toast was out of this world!

Such a cute and home-like B&B with a music room and beautiful breakfast room. We were greeted by music on the piano and excellent apple cake and warm brownies. During the evening, we spent the night in one of the many living rooms next to a fire playing games. It was excellent. I look forward to go back during another season.

Décor leaves something to be desired, but the service is great and the staff friendly. I will stay there again.

I had an unbelievable week!!! The lodge is really cozy and makes you feel like you're at home. The service was EXPECTATIONAL good and the rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast is out of this world, make sure you get the omelet or the poached eggs. Don't forget to tip the cute waitress unfortunately many guess seem to forgot to tip even though she provided great serves. If you plan on going to North Conway for the weekend I highly recommend you stay at the CML.

I am afraid, I am about to spill the beans on the best kept secret in North Conway.... CRANMORE MOUNTAIN LODGE ! Look no further for the most Idyllic Bed & Breakfast in the area. The lodge is located close enough to the mountain, but out of the busy main drag, which makes it private yet so accessible. The Lodge is beautiful, clean and has all the amenities. What else can you ask for? Home made breakfast? You got it. Innkeepers Frederique and Thierry Procyk serve a delicious home made breakfast made to order from their Breakfast Menu, not the typical "Dry muffin, croissant and bagel type of place". We stay here every time we come to NH -- It feels like coming home to an old friends place.

My fiance and I went for the "Ghost and Goblin Trail" in October. We had an absolute blast! The room was very cozy, very clean, and the hosts were very nice. The food was amazing, the service great, the location breath-takingly beautiful (especially in the fall), and the Ghost and Goblin Trail was so much fun! We definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We love B&B's, but even with a good 4 yr old, we're out of luck. Enter the CML. All the comforts of a B&B (great owners, meals, location & cleanliness) and they allow little ones. The CML has a great yard, is super quiet and close to everything, too! The lodge has the great character you can only find in an older home. We're thrilled a coworker recommended this place.

My family loved the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. Your quiintessential New England country inn, this property really knows how to accommodate kids. As a former pre-school owner, Frederique (who to my surprise was a woman!) has stocked the inn with toys, games and books. You name the kid diversion - they have it including a great pool, hot tub, ping pong table, a pond, and built-in playmate, Clare (the youngest daughter of the owners). There are many different rooms to choose from. I was able to see some with bunk beds and plenty of rooms with two beds, to accommodate travelers. I know they even have some pet friendly rooms. The breakfast was incredible! There's a separate kids menu with 12 items to choose from. The adult menu was equally grand and the food was filling and scrumptious. They've really embraced the green scene too with recycling programs, chem-free cleaners and many reminders to travel with a mind toward mother earth. We loved the Cranmore Mountain Lodge!

Traveling with a toddler can be difficult sometimes, but we had everything we needed while staying here -- a crib, highchair and toys in the living room to keep my son busy while my husband and I relaxed. It was great!! We probably didn't even need to leave the lodge at all since my son could have stayed in the backyard all day at the duck pond or down by the rocks in the creek. The service was wonderful too. All in all, a great experience! Thank you so much!!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. It was a beautiful location, very close to all the best hiking in the White Mountain Region. It was also a very cozy and warm environment to spend a couple of romantic evenings. The staff was also very nice and helpful, making sure our stay was perfect.

This Inn serves Gluten Free breakfast food, which is wonderful if you have a family member with celiac disease. The food, accomodations and service were superb. We felt at home the minute we arrived and were taken to our wonderful room. The pool, hot tub and grounds were relaxing and entertaining for us and the kids!

Although a lot of the "resort inns" around North Conway offer suites with fireplaces, kitchens and jacuzzi bathtubs, this is a bed and breakfast in the most traditional, homey sense. I had selected Cranmore Mountain Lodge because of its notoriety for being accommodating to those on gluten-free and other special diets - and I was not disappointed. In the included breakfast, I was allowed to select ANY breakfast item off the menu and it was translated into a gluten-free meal. The innkeepers, who were knowledgeable, friendly and unbelievably accommodating regularly keep gluten-free bread, english muffins and cereals on hand for such purposes. The B & B itself is housed on beautiful land with a small pond, a pool and jacuzzi, just to name a few of the amenities. It is right down the street from the main road (and my favorite gluten-free accommodating restaurant Rafferty's) and in close proximity to all attractions. We were very happy with our stay & definitely plan to return!

We have stayed twice, and really enjoyed both visits. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is delicious! Service is friendly and location is great.

We stayed for five nights for a ski vacation. Freddy and Thierry were gracious hosts. The package included ski tickets and was a great deal. Lodge is really nice. Enjoyed skiing and snowshoeing on the grounds. The breakfasts were great and the hot tub was so enjoyable after a day of exercise. We plan to go back.

When we arrived at the inn, Freddy greeted us with a smile. She had everything ready for us upon our arrival as far as ski tickets etc. Our room was awesome!! The Inn was so clean you could eat off the floor. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge at night and playing games and watching tv. We were just about the only ones there for a few nights, so we pretty much had 'run of the place'. We skiied 3 days at Cranmore which we could not have asked for better weather. The lodge was so close to everything it made life alot easier. The lodge's location was great, quite and peaceful, a welcome relief. Freddy's breakfasts were so awesome, be prepared to gain weight!! The french toast is just to 'die for'. Freddy gave us the grand tour of the Inn and each room was more awesome than the next. As far as rates, reasonable anytime of the year.

Cranmore Mountain Lodge is an outstanding lodge. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean, especially in the middle of winter with all of the sand and salt. The owners and staff were so friendly and they went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The homemade breakfast every morning was better than any restaurant. The price is awesome and the we had the best of time even though the weather was not cooperative.

I arrived late, key was waiting. I had MANY mishaps, the owners helped w/everything!! The food was outstanding. Thought I did not like B&B'b, boy was I wrong!! I will be back!

We were pleased with all aspects of our stay, but most of all was Freddy's willingness to accommodate our daughter's special diet. She went out of her way to get special products / baked goods for our little one - above and beyond what we could have expected. The setting is beautiful, the breakfasts delicious, the hosts friendly, in a clean, well kept setting. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our first stay at Cranmore Lodge. Thierry and Freddy are wonderful hosts and were very accomodating. Breakfast was very delicious with many choices. The location is great and it's very easy to get to all the area attractions. Very kid friendly! We'll be back!

Booked on short notice and we were delighted with our stay. Service was outstanding and the property is beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more.

It was a great stay. Very kid freindly and the owners are very hands on. They are very helpful and offered us great service. The kids are always talking about going back. Once again thank you for your hospitality.

I've been coming to CML for the last 21 years and will never go anywhere else. I started with Dennis & Judy Helfand as the Owners who were wonderfull Owners. I miss them but now I'm especially impressed with the new Owners. They are wonderful. They make you feel really welcome and can't do enough for their guests. I especially like the fact that I can stay up late and watch TV downstairs quietly or sit in the Piano Room and read without feeling like I'm disturbing anyone. I most times put the Inn to bed at night so to speak. I make sure lights are off and all the rooms are straightened out for the other Guests in the morning. The new Owners have done wonders with the Inn and made new and wonderful changes. I'm looking forward to coming again June 8. Good luck and hats off to you all. Thank you Freddy. The one thing we loved about staying there was the fact that they took the time to accomodate our Vegan friend. Not always easy since they don't eat much, but so appreciated because we didn't have to look or bring stuff for her. The fact that they spoke French. That they try to give us the best deal so we could stay with them and get a Awesome service with the budget of students. I would and did recommand this place already to many people.

We have stayed at Cranmore Mountain Lodge 5 times over the past 2 years. The new owners are very conscientious and take care of your every need. The breakfasts are delicious as are the 5:00 appetizers. A great value.
