Our first time staying at this bed and breakfast, all we can say is we are hooked. Jessica and Bruce could not have treated us any better. We had an amazing weekend and can not wait to do it again. Their place is comfortable, clean, friendly and lets not forget Jessicas breakfast.... Highly recomend, and we will be back for sure. Chris and Roland

For our first B&B stay... we were very pleased with our experience at The Cabernet Inn! It was quiet and a great location to the town and down the road from Mt. Washington. The breakfast is to DIE for... French Toast was divine! We hope to return to the Cabernet Inn again!

We wanted to do something different this year for the Thanksgiving holiday and found the Cabernet Inn on the internet. I was intrigued by the pictures of the Inn and reviews that I read. In a word, our holiday was "perfect". Bruce and Jessica welcomed us into their inn/home upon arrival and 3 days later, I was very sad to leave but am looking forward to our next stay. Both are warm, gracious, unassuming hosts who do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your visit. Our room, as well as the entire inn, is extremely clean and comfortable. Our breakfasts each morning as well as our Thanksgiving dinner were delicious. Jessica is an outstanding chef and her maple walnut french toast is a "must have". We normally stay at hotels but the Cabernet will become an annual visit for us.

We stayed for three nights and we still didnt want to leave. I cant say enough about how relaxed and comfortable Jessica and Bruce make you feel. It was was a peaceful stay. This has set the new bar for our standards for B&B's.

My boyfriend and I climbed Mount Washington and then went to the Cabernet Inn after to stay. We have never stayed at a "bed and breakfast", only at hotels. Our experience at the Cabernet Inn changed my mind as from now on, we will look for inns first. Bruce and Jessica were great hosts, left you alone unless you needed something, and prepared a delcious breakfast the next morning. Needless to say, it was heaven after climbing Mt Washington!

We celebrated my husbands birthday at the Cabernet Inn. Bruce and Jessica were extremely accomadating and even prepared a gluten free menu for my husband! they went above and beyond. Best of all, it was private, quiet, and charming. we felt totally at home.

What a beautiful place to get away from it all.Our room was so cozy and romantic .Breakfast was amazing .We are so looking foward to a trip again this winter

We stayed 5 nights and were upgraded to a room with a gas fireplace at no additional charge. We had a cozy, comfortable room for our cross-country skiing vacation, and we slept soundly. We feel the innkeepers masterfully combined just the right amount of personal service and privacy. They made dinner reservations for us, patiently described how to navigate local ski resorts, offered the use of the inn laptop, have tons of DVD movies to watch, and even shared some fantastic hand made truffles destined for a wine/chocolate event. We would definitely stay with Jessica and Bruce Zarenko (innkeepers) again.

Although located on the main road we didn't find a problem with noise and getting into town was easy albeit a short drive rather than a walk. The room was excellant albeit the bed sqeaked like hell (not what you think) and the finish in keeping with what one expected for New England. Nice garden area to the rear and a great little TV/Lounge in the basement for meeting new friends (which we did). The hosts were welcoming and very willing to assist with what we should try and see. The breakfasts were simply excellant the best French Toast I have ever had the little daily extras (muffins & cakes) were also out of the top drawer. Would recommend to anyone

A great find and one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. Quality throughout from the bedroom to the communal areas. The rooms were spacious, fully equipped and very clean. Breakfasts were the highlight of the day with a great choice that varied daily. The owners, Jessica and Bruce, made you feel very special in their home and could not do enough to help. Add to this the great location as a base for exploring the White Mountain region and you have the near perfect place to stay. We will certainly visit again in the future.

Wonderful hosts, simply delicious breakfasts, great package value, close by to most major attractions in the area. We definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting North Conway. We will surely drop by in the near future.

For me, a perfect getaway is comprised of three essentials - a beautiful location, a cozy destination and great food. The Cabernet Inn embodies all this and more. Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful and majestic places in the country, the Cabernet Inn is a beautifully appointed, amenity-packed, yet comfortable place to make a home base. From the moment you walk through the door, Jess and Bruce make you feel welcome and at home. Afternoon tea, coffee and homemade treats can be smelled throughout the large beautiful house; many rooms have big Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces; the huge, wood burning fireplace in the common area is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and chat with other guests; and at breakfast, Jessica’s picture-perfect omelets and maple walnut stuffed French toast will make you feel you’ve gone to heaven! I couldn’t recommend an inn (or its innkeepers) more highly!

My husband and I recently spent a six day honeymoon at the Cabernet Inn. This was our second visit to the Inn and exceeds all of our expectations. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the Inn keepers, Jess and Bruce. It was like visiting old friends and they made us feel very welcomed. We were lead to our room which was very large and cozy. Our room included a fireplace and jaccuzzi tub. This is one of the larger rooms and we would totally recommended it. The entire inn was extremely clean. The next morning we went upstairs for breakfast which was out of this world. The french toast is the best we have ever had and will keep us coming back year after year. The thing that sets the Cabernet above any other b and B we have stayed at is the innkeepers and their knowledge of the area. They made several recommendations on where to eat dinner and the best hiking trails. All of their recommendations were spot on. Jessica and Bruce made our honeymoon absolutely perfect and we will continue to go back to the Cabernet as often as possible.

Those planning a trip to the picturesque White Mountains of New Hampshire MUST experience firsthand the pleasures of “The Cabernet Inn” located in North Conway, New Hampshire. Originally built in 1842, this rustic inn has been completely refinished to provide all the modern amenities, while still maintaining its original rustic character. Please Google the “Cabernet Inn” and enjoy for yourself its elegance. The real pleasures of the inn for us however lie within. Jessica and Bruce Zarenko, the Innkeepers, were warm and welcoming hosts from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail is ever present. From afternoon tea and fresh baked muffins or cookies, to home made chocolates on departure day, nothing is overlooked and of course the inn is spotless. A full breakfast was served, always with a different “daily special”, and I can highly recommend Jessica’s Maple walnut stuffed French toast to get your day going. Before you leave, make sure you say Hi to “Cleo” their friendly Black Lab and their newest resident “Seymore”( you’ll have to ask more about him).

Not to use a cliche but, if you're looking for the perfect getaway, this would be the inn to stay at. The concept of getting away from it all was designed into the atmosphere of the inn which Bruce and Jess maintain to excellence. They always have a suggestion on where to go or what to do for some fun--be it a day of hiking, a great dining experience, what's new in the area, or a scenic drive--and they'll provide directions if needed. The rooms are cozy with everything you could need (including fully equipped bathrooms) in a wide range of rooms from "a comfy bed to crash in" to "romantic fireplace setting" to luxury "jacuzzi-here-we-come" and/or all of the above, and yes, there is AC for the summers. A homemade breakfast will start you off for the day and in the afternoon, you can drop back in for a snack--homemade as well. You'll never find more personable and friendly hosts than at The Cabernet Inn.

We have been to the Cabernet Inn twice. It is where we got engaged, and where we had our beautiful, romantic honeymoon! Jessica and Bruce are easily two of the nicest people that you would ever want to meet. They obviously love their inn and want you to enjoy it as much as they do. Jessica is a fabulous cook, her stuffed french toast is divine! Bruce has awsome ideas for things to do around town. Also Jessica is now a Justice of the Peace...perfect for eloping! Wedding and honeymoon all in one! Please, please, please do not miss out on this great experience!

After our third trip, my husband and I can't say enough about the Inn and it's wonderful owners! We truly look forward to our next visit and love making a long weekend out of the stay, the location in North Conway is great for resting, dining, shopping, and outdoor activities. Jessica and Bruce are very knowledgeable about the area and make great hike suggestions. The B&B is spotless, has lots of charm and breakfast is unmatched -- LOVE the stuffed french toast Jessica makes!! We recommend the Cabernet Inn to all our friends and family, a must stay!!

My husband and I have stayed at the Cabernet Inn MANY times over the last few years. We do alot of outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, etc.) and will not stay anywhere else in NH...now that we have discovered the Cabernet. Our first experience there was on our honeymoon. Bruce and Jessica (owners/inkeepers of the Cabernet) are two of the nicest people we've ever met. They made us feel like we were part of their family. They left special treats in our room and made sure that we had the best room in the house (although every room is great) The inn is immaculate, economical, conveniently located...and Jessica's gourmet breakfasts are the best! I HIGHLY recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a place to stay in NH.

My husband and I stay at reputable moderately priced hotels. When visitin N. Conway in the winter, we stay at the Cabernet Inn. We have stayed there every year for the past 6 years. One year we made reservations elsewhere and were so disappointed we called Bruce and Jessica and asked if they had room for us. They did and we have not stayed elsewhere since.The Cabernet Inn is CLEAN, tastefully decorated and conveniently located to skiing, hiking, and shopping, and sightseeing.We have rented the same room except for this past February.Bruce and Jessica are exceptional inn-keepers, they don't impose their presence yet are always available. They are such gracious and friendly hosts, we feel as if we're visiting friends.They have a knack for making us feel so welcome that we don't care to stay elsewhere.Without my reminding them and BEFORE we arrive, they remember my allergy to perfumes and make sure to remove from our room any air fresheners including from adjoining areas.And the breakfast is AMAZING! It's sit down style at the breakfast dining room with fresh coffee and tea and a special baked-something every morning.Jessica's muffins, stuffed french toast, pancakes- whatever- are so DELICIOUS! If they're not too busy, they'll make something off the menu.There's always an afternoon snack of some kind.They have games, television, movies, a piano downstairs in the living room where we unwind after a day out and about.There's also a small kitchenette equipped with glasses and cutlery for your wine and snacks or leftovers.We have been spoiled at the Cabernet Inn, they set a high benchmark.Cleanliness, hospitality, decor, location, breakfast- hard to find anywhere else.The Cabernet In is one place like home. Bruce and Jessica treat their guests like family- without the drama!They even send us home every year with homemade chocolates by Jessica.Truly a hidden gem!

The Cabernet Inn is our favorite place to stay when we visit NH. Jessica & Bruce are terrific hosts who share the love of their home and the surrounding area with their guests. They are both friendly, but not intrusive. Their activity and dinner recommemdations have been fabulous. The Inn is located close to several attractions, hiking trails, shopping, and many dining choices, making it an ideal place to stay in the Mount Washington Valley. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate. Jessica's breakfasts are spectacular! Her maple walnut stuffed french toast is the best! Most of all, we appreciate their warm hospitality and look forward to many more visits in the future. If you are looking for a place to call home during your travels, the Cabernet Inn would be the place to stay.

On our first stay at the Inn my husband and I climbed Mt. Washington. I severely sprained my knee on the ascent. After this very long hike, I was hurting and exhausted. The Innkeepers, Jessica and Bruce, made special arrangements so we could extend our stay until I was better. The Inn is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Bruce's knowledge of the Washington Valley provides valuable information. Jessica's maple walnut french toast is to die for! We shall return again and again .

I've visited over 150 countries and territories around the world and stayed at innumerable B&Bs. This is my "go-to" B&B when I visit family in North Conway. Jessica and Bruce have made this the most pre-eminent B&B in the area, head and shoulders above the competition, which in this part of the country is quite formidable. The place is elegantly appointed, spotlessly clean, and pleasurably tranquil. Jessica and Bruce are warm, caring hosts and the breakfasts are of gourmet class. If you're looking for that home away from home place to stay look no further than the Cabernet Inn in North Conway NH. We have stayed here 6, 7, 8 times, ok I've lost count. The inn is more homey than home! The owners of the inn, Jessica & Bruce are like the family members that you can't wait to see. Everyone is treated like a friend that you haven't seen in years. The inn is absolutely beautiful, charming, quaint, warm and welcoming. With 2 seating areas to choose from you can sit and enjoy the afternoon snack that Jessica has made while going through the local restaurant menus. When you're ready to choose Jessica or Bruce will gladly make your dinner reservation for you. It's the touches of them remembering when you have a favorite restaurant that the offer to make your reservation is out there before you even have time to worry about it. Each of the rooms has its own charm and is wonderfully decorated. Some of the rooms have fireplaces which can take an ordinary weekend away into a romantic, relaxing weekend. Make sure to take advantage of the Jacuzzi rooms at least once, there's nothing better than a cozy Jacuzzi after a long day of shopping or hiking. On our last stay we took advantage of the new luxury suite with its oh so comfy king size bed, fireplace, Jacuzzi, TV. & mini-fridge. We didn't need to leave the room for anything! There is a full breakfast menu daily, Jessica is an amazing chef. Bruce is wonderful at getting your order just right, making sure that you have everything that you want and there is a basket of fresh baked items that are still toasty warm from the oven along with a daily special. Sunday's special, Maple Walnut Stuffed French Toast is just to die for! When we're in the White Mountains there isn't any place that we would even consider staying other than the Cabernet Inn.

We have stayed twice at the inn and would love to go back. Jessica and Bruce are so warm and friendly, they take such good care of their guests and the inn. The breakfasts are spectacular!! The location is great, not far from Mt. Washington, shopping, restaurants, and many other activities/attractions. We Recommend the Premium Room.

It has been said that when you experience true quality you will know it. This can be stated in over abundance about the Cabernet Inn. As fairly experienced travelers, we were immediately taken in by the inn's considerable charm and warmth as well as the gracious hospitality and capable stewardship of Bruce and Jessica Zarenko. Their kind informative knowledgeable manner is one that we find highly ingratiating. My husband and I have stayed at the Cabernet Inn many times and always enjoy coming back. Bruce and Jessica are great hosts who go out of their way to please us when we visit. Jessica's breakfasts are well known and she has on more than one occasion offered to get up early to cook us breakfast before we head out for an early hike or ski run. They are both knowledgable about the area including the local hiking trails, and give solid advice on where to go. I would recommend this inn to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with excellent service.

My husband and I have been going to North Conway for the past 11 years, and we have never stayed in such a wonderful, warm bed and breakfast. The innkeepers, Bruce and Jessica, make you feel so at home and very special. They treat each guest like they are the only ones there. The food is outstanding and Jessica is an amazing chef! Breakfast is something to look forward to, as well as her scrumptious baked goodies for a lovely afternoon snack! I will certainly never stay anywhere else in North Conway. The Cabernet Inn is my home away from home!

With innkeepers like Bruce and Jessica, who were so eager to help us and make us feel so welcome, as well as the delicious breakfasts, we left this charming place spoiled, satisfied and eager to return. Hospitality is a gift, and we thank them for sharing it so freely with us. A visit to this lovely B&B is a MUST!

This was our first visit to the Cabernet Inn. Good location, good size room and pleasant innkeepers. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately there were very few tables, so folks sometimes had to wait to be seated. There was only one table to sit two people, which took away the choice of breakfasting alone i.e. as a couple - and ultimately resulted in couples arriving at the breakfast room a quarter of an hour early to get that table! On one occasion there was a long queue for breakfast.

We've just returned from the Carbernet Inn in Conway NH and I will tell you it was one of the most memorble experiences we've ever had. Jessica and Bruce where attentive to our every need and Jessica's abilities in the kitchen are outstanding. I travel alot so know what's out there and no one should miss this experience. My girlfriend and I have been to this amazing B&B three times over the past 4 years. The owners are wonderful people that know how to treat guests. They last time we stayed they remembered us and upgraded us for free! The packages they offer are are great value and they offer something for every season and occasion. Ask them about the house...it's a pretty interesting story as to how it got there :-)

My husband and I recently spent 2 wonderful nights at The Cabernet Inn. The warmth and hospitality of the innkeepers are exceptional, and their conscientous attempts to meet every need of their guests are impressive. Jessica is a talented chef, and breakfast (ordered from a menu and served at individual tables in an attractive dining area) is always outstanding. Two tastefully appointed common rooms provide additional lounging areas for guests--perfect to hang out in while nibbling on some of Jessica's delicious homemade cookies mid-afternoon with a cup of coffee or tea. The front garden of Cabernet Inn is spectacular and has been the recipient of various awards. The inn is located in a beautiful area of NH and has wonderful restaurants nearby. I heartily recommend this excellent inn and hope to return for another visit when I'm in the area.

We have stayed at the Cabernet Inn twice and we will definitely be back. The place is immaculate!! It is great to order from a menu for breakfast. You always get exactly what you want. Jessica's a great chef. One of our favorite B & B's.
