    Summer 2009 recipient of NECN's TV Diner "Platinum Plate" for outstanding restaurant. Comfortable guest rooms offer lake or wooded views and afternoon tea and a full breakfast are included. Wifi throughout the inn plus a computer for guest use. The five-acre grounds face Pleasant Lake, which has a private beach. The lake offers seasonal swimming, fishing and guests can borrow a canoe or double kayak from the inn. Enjoy nearby downhill skiing, x-country skiing and hiking. New London has many small boutiques for browsing and shopping. Innkeeper and Culinary Institute of America graduate Brian Mackenzie prepares the inn's not to be missed, five course, gourmet, prix-fixed dinners. Reservations needed. The inn's county location and quiet atmosphere provides a perfect spot to hold small corporate retreats or weddings.

    Innkeepers Description:

    Brian graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1995 and took a position as sous chef at Clifton, the Country Inn. Linda worked in reservations at the same inn. They made New Hampshire their home in 1997 with the purchase of the Inn at Pleasant Lake. Brian creates the inn¿s five course dinners while co-managing the inn with Linda.

    • Cancellations: Due to our intimate size, any cancellation affects us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Should you communicate to us at least 14 days prior to the arrival date a need to cancel, we will be happy to hold your deposit to another stay or arrange for a refund less a $15 processing fee. Cancellation within the 14 days prior to your arrival date results in forfeiture of deposit. A cancellation or no-show on your arrival date will result in a loss of all deposits as well as a charge for the balance of the first night’s full room rate.

    We have celebrated New Years for the last two years with our closest friends. Absolutely outstanding. We wanted our married childten to have the opportunity for Brian to give them the ultimate dining experience, so a gift at Christmas was the ideal present. They are going to love it.

    This charming B&B in New London, NH was an excellent place to stay. The dinner was of four-star, gourmet restaurant quality, a real treat and a bargain. Beautifully furnished common room with spectacular view over the lake and mountains. Highly recommended. -- Michael Lindgren, New York City.

    We could not have been happier with our recent stay at the Inn at Pleasant Lake! When we arrived Owner/Chef was outside watering the beautiful gardens, and he even carried our bags up to the top floor while we were checking in. From beginning to end, we were warmly welcomed by every staff member that we came into contact with. We made use of the kayaks that the inn provided, and saw the loons with babies out on the lake. Highlight was definitely the five course meal. Lobster Bisque, Salad, Passionfruit Sorbet with Kiwi, Filet Mignon, and a lovely dessert were all excellent. We can't praise this Inn enough, and will definitely be back!!!!

    Meine Frau und ich (wir leben in Norddeutschland) besuchten dieses Hotel im Oktober 2010 und genossen dort 10 unbeschreibliche Tage. Das Hotel, die Räume, das Essen und besonders das Personal sind hervorragend. Wir hatten nie das Gefühl Hotelgast zu sein; wir wohnten in einer familiären Umgebung. Das Wetter (Indian Summer) hat den Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir werden dieses Hotel wieder besuchen.
