We were only able to spend one night in this beautiful inn, we wished we had more time. We made reservations for the prix-fixe dinner and were not disappointed. Breakfast was also very good. If ever we are back in the area, we will stay there again.

Woods, streams, trails and lakes are right on your doorstep at this Inn. And what doorstep! The views are superb, the food is great and the inn is a delight. But the staff make the inn a standout, they were excellent, friendly, caring and professional. We plan to come back.

We have celebrated New Years for the last two years with our closest friends. Absolutely outstanding. We wanted our married childten to have the opportunity for Brian to give them the ultimate dining experience, so a gift at Christmas was the ideal present. They are going to love it.

This charming B&B in New London, NH was an excellent place to stay. The dinner was of four-star, gourmet restaurant quality, a real treat and a bargain. Beautifully furnished common room with spectacular view over the lake and mountains. Highly recommended. -- Michael Lindgren, New York City.

We could not have been happier with our recent stay at the Inn at Pleasant Lake! When we arrived Owner/Chef was outside watering the beautiful gardens, and he even carried our bags up to the top floor while we were checking in. From beginning to end, we were warmly welcomed by every staff member that we came into contact with. We made use of the kayaks that the inn provided, and saw the loons with babies out on the lake. Highlight was definitely the five course meal. Lobster Bisque, Salad, Passionfruit Sorbet with Kiwi, Filet Mignon, and a lovely dessert were all excellent. We can't praise this Inn enough, and will definitely be back!!!!

This inn and the experience staying there was incredible. The staff were very accommodating, ready to please in the drop of a hat. The first floor has has a cozy game room with complimentary Keurig coffee and bottles of water. there is a TV in the space, board games, and a PC set up for use. The fireside lounge is warm and inviting with views of the lake and community puzzles. A short walk across the street, past the tennis courts and to the beach presented sweeping views of Pleasant Lake. Kayaks and canoes were available for use by guests. A huge plus. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in either the winter months or next summer.

We had a lovely visit there, except for the weather! The rooms are so inviting, the service outstanding and the food exceptional. We definitely will go back.

We loved the atmosphere of the inn! It was very elegant but at the same time very welcoming and homey. The complementary breakfast was fantastic and all of the pastries and breads served with both breakfast and " afternoon tea" were magnificent. The staff was great! Didn't meet a single person who wasn't friendly and courteous. Overall, a great experience! Would recommend it to anyone and will stay there again!

My niece was recently married and we took the whole inn for a weekend destination wedding. It was fabulous and Brian was a remarkable host as well as a superb chef. There are more glamorous locations but surely none with more accommodating and capable staff. That plus a large helping of country charm made this a perfect wedding in a perfect spot. Highly recommended.

I've enjoyed dinner at the Inn before and decided to have my daughter's reception there. Everything was superb! Brian and his staff were so accommodating before, during and after. There wasn't anything they wouldn't do to make it a special weekend. We even got to go swimming and kayaking the morning of the wedding. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

A true gem, the Inn at Pleasant Lake was all one would expect of a beautiful New England setting and more. The Inn and grounds were immaculate. The service was warm and inviting but not intrusive. The breakfast was outstanding, as prepared by Chef Brian. Very fresh ingredients. We did not have dinner there that stay but have eaten there before and it was top-notch. We were a little taken aback that the rooms do not have TVs but it turned out to be more fun walking down to the lake after dark to hear the loons sing and then we played scrabble in one of the cozy sitting rooms while the Red Sox lost in the 12th inning (that was no fun).

My husband and I wanted a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary and chose the Inn at Pleasant Lake. From the time we arrived until the time we departed we were not just given outstanding service, we were catered to. My husband has special dietary needs, and Chef MacKenzie bent over backwards to be considerate of his restrictions and provide delicious meals. Our hosts graciously provided for us when we decided to stay an extra night. The beautiful grounds and lake/mountain views are spellbinding. There is lots to do on the property and in the area, but we also enjoyed the relaxation that the inn fosters.

We have never had any better dinning, lodging and overall weekend experiences than our mutliple visits to The Inn at Pleasant Lake. There is no comparision to the beauty, charm, kindness, professionalism and knowlegde that is shared with you while you are at the inn. My family and many friends from afar always request a trip to the inn while in the area. The owners and the staff are sure to make it their pleasure that a visit to the Inn at Pleasant Lake will be something that you will always remember and want to return to. The views are beautiful; looking out onto Pleasnt Lake and Mount Kearsarge. There is a private beach that you may walk to and have a cookout or nice relaxing sitting rooms inside the inn, which are nicely decorated in a warm New England style. It has been a pleasure for me to write this review for the Inn at Pleasant Lake. I know that many local people and people from far away from the area feel the same.

My husband and I recently booked the inn for our daughter's wedding and were so completely happy with absolutely every aspect of our stay. Even the rain held off! The Inn and the surroundings are georgeous and Brian and Linda are wonderful hosts. Our guests were raving about the food! Brian prepared the food for the rehearsal dinner and the weddng. Eating breakfast on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake is a great way to start the day.Afternoon tea was so relaxing as well. A first rate spot in a beautiful New England location.

We stayed at the Inn at Pleasant Lake this May (2009) during one part of a long road trip through the Northeast U.S. The Inn at Pleasant Lake was by far the best place we stayed, and we stayed in several very good inns and motels between the Adirondacks and the Maine coast. We thought that the food and service were exceptional, the room was extremely handsome and comfortable, and the sitting rooms and dining areas were excellent. The Inn at Pleasant Lake is located in a beautiful area. The lake and beach were extremely pretty and clean, and very well equipped for swimming and boating. There is also a good exercise room. We especially enjoyed walking along the country roads around the inn, and the fact that there are no TV sets in the rooms is a huge plus. It is a great place to get away from distractions and annoyances, but it does have WiFi and a guest computer if you have to communicate with the outside world. We give the Inn at Pleasant Lake our highest recommendation. Spend some time there if you possibly can.
