Breakfast on the Connecticut

A New England Bed & Breakfast created with you in mind. Built in 1996, Breakfast on the Connecticut sits on 23 acres in rural Lyme, just a dozen miles north of Hanover and Dartmouth College. It has fifteen rooms, each with private bath and some with in-room whirlpool tubs. Each room has its own color TV/VCR, telephone and individual climate control and computer ports. Two large suites offer ample room for a family of four. Many bedrooms have their own working gas fireplaces.

    From the South (on the Interstate):
    From I-89 North cross the Connecticut River into Vermont and take I-91 North to Exit 14 (Thetford/Lyme). Proceed east for approx. 1.4 miles to Route 5. Take a right on Route 5 and then take an immediate left to cross the Thetford bridge. After crossing the bridge, take your first left onto River Road, go approx. 3 miles and you will see our sign on the left. The B&B is well set back from the road.
    From Hanover:
    Take the Lyme Road (Rte 10) north out of Hanover. Pass by Lyme Green staying on Rte. 10. Approx. 2 miles after the Lyme Congregational Church on the Green, take a left on North Thetford Road. At the end of the road, take a right on to River Road and our sign is approx. 1.2 miles down on the left.
    From the North:
    Take the I-91 South to Exit 14 (Thetford/Lyme), then follow directions from the south.

    I-93 North to I-89 North toward White River Junction. Then follow directiond from the South.

    • Deposit amount required (A deposit of one night or one half of your stay is required at time of booking.)

      Refunds issued only if cancellation received two weeks in advance of arrival date or room rerented. All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee. "No shows" will be charged for the entire reserved stay.
