An impressive country home built in 1879, located near Squam Lake, setting for the classic film 'On Golden Pond.' The area offers a variety of outdoor sporting activities year round and there are superior restaurants and plenty of good shopping opportunities nearby. The Inn is known for its refreshingly friendly yet professional atmosphere. Furnished to provide maximum comfort, six spacious guestrooms and two suites are decorated in traditional country style. All have private baths.

    Rabbit's Hole, a spacious third floor room with a wonderful view to the 50 acre wooded area surrounding the Inn.Deer Lodge, a very spacious second floor room with views to the side yard. Watch the bird activity and bask in the late afternoon sun.
    Mallard's Cove, a second floor room with three large windows providing lots of natural sunlight all day. Read and relax in the comfortable sitting area surrounded by traditional country decor.The Inn's main sitting room featuring a crackling fire in the cooler weather and a terrific view of the back yard all year. A great place to visit with friends and other guests.
