Inn Details
Built in 1890, this Victorian Farmhouse has been restored into a charming bed and breakfast with eight guestrooms over the years. Decorated in vintage New England charm The Squam Lake Inn is designed to make guests feel warm and welcomed. Inside guests relax in our lobby in front of a fire with a cup of hot tea or curl up with a book or surf the internet in our library. Outside there is plenty of room to relax, read or watch the birds and other wildlife on our wrap around porch or expansive mahogany deck. The grounds also include a large red barn that adds to the old New England charm.
Enjoy breakfast in our cheery dining room with plenty of windows that overlook the grounds. Guests can start their day off with morning coffee, chat at a table for two or sit and make friends at our large table. Guests agree that breakfast is the best meal of the day! Our menu items include seasonal ingredients and fresh local products that we serve with pride. Our favorite breakfast entrees served are Four Grain Blueberry Pancakes, Belgium Waffles with Strawberries and Whipped Cream, French Toast Bake with a Warm Seasonal Berry Sauce and Eggs Benedict.
The Inn is able to accommodate small events, family reunions and weddings both inside and outdoors. Please contact the Innkeepers to discuss hosting your special events.
