5 out of 5Outstanding honeymoon trip
April 29, 2013
Sheila and Bill were excellent hosts! We had a beautiful view of Newfound Lake and the mountains from our room (the Crimson suite). The room itself was beautiful and my husband I didn't want to leave! We only had breakfast at the Inn but it was great and Sheila is awesome about accommodating for allergies.

February 20, 2013
A great choice for a secluded getaway with great views of Newfound Lake! On top of that the service was excellent. From the time we booked the room until we left, the service was really emphasized. For instance, before we arrived we received a list of questions to ranging from food and snack preferences to firmness of pillows. It was a very pleasant surprise in a winter outdoor weekend so much that we've already booked our room for our wedding anniversary!

My spouse and I spent the weekend at the Coppertoppe Inn and we had a fantastic time. The host and hostess are genuinely interested in customizing your stay to maximize your enjoyment and relaxation. We were especially impressed by the thoughtfully made, home-cooked meals. They even made us sandwiches for a day-hike we had planned!

Coppertoppe Inn was a very homey and beautiful place to visit! Meals were great, and Bill and Sheila were willing to help with anything we needed. Our room overlooked the lake and mountains, just gorgeous! We also spent about half an hour in the hot tub outside looking up at the amazing view of the stars you get up there. Overall great experience!

5 out of 5Very Relaxing and beautiful view B & B
September 29, 2012
This B&B has a relaxing-quiet atmosphere. Sheila and Bill are very friendly and welcoming. Each room has a beautiful view of Newfound Lake. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food was very good. Overall this is probably the most comfortable and relaxing B & B we have ever stayed at.
5 out of 5Coppertoppe: a nice home away from home
September 12, 2012
The location is beautiful, each room has a vista of forest and Newfound lake. The house and room we stayed in, the Amethyst room, were spotless and have a well-loved and homey vibe. Breakfasts were tasty with a great variety; frittata with veggies from the local farm share, bacon from a farm with pigs that get leftover treats from the Coppertoppe kitchen, whole wheat pancakes... And as wonderful as all that is, it is leaving out the most important parts of Coppertoppe, Sheila and Bill! It is obvious that they care about their guests, their home, and their community. They are also a lot of fun to chat with (and have great taste in books and movies!). Overall we were impressed and felt very welcome. The rates are more than I would typically spend, but they make absolute sense, and are a bit of a steal, when you figure in the location, the quality of the rooms, the amenities, the breakfasts, etc. We can't wait to return!
2.8 out of 5Private and Friendly, Hot tub disappointing
August 30, 2012
We were impressed with breakfast. We were disappointed that the hot tub was actually just warm. Seems like a lot to pay for a place that doesn't even keep the hot tub heated.
Innkeeper Response
We are glad you enjoyed the breakfast! We do have the hot tub on an energy-saving cycle and need to have some notice to set it to higher temps. Depending on the weather and where it is in the cycle, it may take a couple of hours to get hot. We are sorry you did not have an ideal experience, as our goal is to delight you! If you come again, please be sure to tell when you will want the hot tub and we will be sure to get it ready for you. It is one of our "twenty questions" we ask in the confirmation email.
