Our stay at Coppertoppe was restful. The view from our room was phenomenal. Sheila and Bill, our hosts, provided just the right mix of helpfulness and accommodation while knowing when to step back and give us our space. This was our first stay at a B&B and a wonderful vacation experience.

CopperToppe Inn is a lovely place to stay. Shiela and Bill have all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. You can be as busy or low key as you like. Rooms are spacious, very neat. The food is excellent, great home cooked breakfasts.

We are arrived later int he evening than we had hoped but greeted with smiles and welcomes. Lovely couple who made an amazing breakfast, healthy and fresh! Eggs arrived during breakfast and were promptly cooked~fresh, fresh!!

The view was amazing and the company was wonderful. Bill and Sheila truly care about their customer's stay. It is like staying with family, because they treat you like family. They provide you with lots of information about the area and help plan your day with you, according to your interests.

Owners Bill and Sheila create a very comfortable, warm, relaxed environment at Coppertoppe. They are exceptionally friendly to children and pets. The house is spacious and the beds are super comfortable! We stayed over a snowy winter weekend with our teenage son and 8-year old son. Each member of the family was catered to and spoiled. We were made to feel truly special when they sent out a questionnaire asking our favorite foods, snacks, flowers, pillows - even scents! This is the kind of personal treatment that B&Bs can offer over cookie-cutter hotels or even larger inns. The view of Newfound Lake from the house and gardens is a treasure. Staying at Coppertoppe is like staying with wonderful relatives - except better! And Sheila makes an awesome fritata!

We took advantage of the Special on Veteran's Day. Coppertoppe Inn was just absolutely fantastic with some amazing views. Bill and Sheila really made us feel special.

My only complaint is that our stay was so short. We arrived late Friday and had to leave early Saturday morning for meetings at Holderness School. Bill and Sheila were very accommodating and great hosts. We will be back.

First I want to thank Bill and Sheila for participating in the Veteran's Day program which allowed us the opportunity to stay there. It was the most amazing 3 days we've had since our honeymoon! The Inn is spotless yet so cozy that I felt like I was staying with family. The food they cook is absolutely amazing and all of the little extras that are available throughout the day are appreciated. We had the Jade Suite and that king size bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The jacuzzi tub was heavenly and had we needed the second bedroom, that would have been great. The view in the morning looking out over the lake is breathtaking. The outdoor hot tub is also an incredible added bonus that we took advantage of. I highly recommend visiting Coppertoppe!! It is a hidden gem in NH.

I was at the Inn for my Reiki Vision Quest which meant seclusion and total privacy which I received. The accomodations are amazing and the surrounding view and setting stunningly beautiful. I was as close to nature as I could get while being comfortable and warm.

Options for breakfast choices and times. Being completely pampered Fantastic view Wonderful comfort level Will be first place we will stay when we are in that area.

Our stay at Coppertoppe Inn was truly a first-rate experience. The hosts, Sheila and Bill, were always cordial and very helpful. And the breakfasts were outstanding, offering a nice variety of tasty selections. The physical setting of Coppertoppe must be mentioned. The B&B sits on a hillside overlooking Newfound Lake, the north end of which is just .4 miles from the lodge. The setting is wooded and serene. From the lodge one can drive to and through lots of beautiful scenery. If you're looking for big-city night life, this is not the destination you want. The towns near the lodge are all small, but provide a variety of eateries, grocery stores, and other amenities. We were looking for a rural, rustic setting, and Coppertoppe more than met our expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend the Coppertoppe Inn as a wonderful place to stay.

My BF and I spent wonderful Birthday in Coppertoppe. Everything was perfect, great breakfast, nice room, outstanding view... Sheila and Bill are very friendly people, we had a good time. K&J

My husband and I were warmly greeted by our hosts Shelia and Bill. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was large and immaculate with a beautiful view of Newfound Lake and all the colorful fall foilage. The meals were awesome and they provided for my diabetic needs too.

Shelia and Bill were very welcoming and interesting to spend time with. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was outstanding and Shelia and Bill worked very hard to meet special dietary needs. I really recommend spennding time at Coppertoppe and enjoying time with the owners as well as the great surroundings

We had a lovely stay at the Coppertoppe Inn. We went up to Newfound Lake for a family event and stayed one night. The personal touches and friendliness made our stay comfortable and memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again ourselves or to recommend the Coppertoppe to our friends and family.

We found Coppertoppe on line and the location and photos looked ideal as we were visiting friends nearby. Sheila and Bill could not have been any nicer or more attentive to our wishes. When we registered they asked what we liked for breakfast and they had everything, including the brand of shredded wheat we prefer. The breakfast offerings were sumptuous and we could have eaten a lot more. We enjoyed our stay, the other guests and our room (Garnet Suite) and food. A very pleasant experience.

Sheila and Bill do a great job to provide guests with whatever they would like or need for their stay. Their plentiful breakfasts were wonderful and a great way to start the day. In addition, Coppertoppe allows for pets to come along which made for even more fun. Accomodations are very comfortable and the peaceful view of the lake offered some nice respite from our usual daily running. We will go back again!

My wife and I spent a very pleasant February night at Coppertoppe. Shiela recommended a restaurant which was a very good choice. Bill and Shiela also took care of our dog while we were at dinner. The dog acted like she had a very good time. Bill was downstairs with coffee ready at 7:30 (or perhaps much earlier) and served a delightful low-carb communal breakfast when everybody was up.

Bill and Shiela were incredible. My wife, the in-laws and our dog had an incredible weekend. The setting is spectacular with views which are hard to describe. Our hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. It was the first time traveling with our pet and she had a great time and felt right at home. I went to CopperToppe for a 2-day solo retreat. Bill and Sheila are amazing, personable hosts. They go out of their way to tailor your room and available food to meet all your needs. Bill even shoveled all the snow off my car so I could get out and move/use my car -- twice! Without me asking for help! Using the hot tub outside in winter was a new experience for me; I loved it. The Amethyst room was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, the view in winter of clouds and snow-covered landscape was beautiful. Be warned - the road to and from the retreat is one car only! I highly recommend this place, for its mountain and lake-view setting, the sliding glass doors that open to a balcony so you can take in the view, the hosts, the breakfast, the service - for everything.

Lovely view over the lake, convenient to area activities, nice decor, clean and the meals provided (two breakfasts, one dinner) were delicious. Traveling with our family of five there was plenty of space and the hosts made us feel welcome and taken care of.

We stayed at CopperToppe on a last-minute whim to celebrate a birthday, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Sheila and Bill (the owners) went out of their way to make sure we were totally comfortable and content. They accommodated our difficult combination of vegan diet and food allergies, preparing a wonderful breakfast that made all of the guests happy while introducing everyone to a new and tasty dish. We stayed in the Amethyst Room -- which was even better than the description on their website -- and had an amazing view of what looked like an almost totally untouched valley and lake from its private deck. CopperToppe provided everything we wanted during out stay (even things we didn't know we wanted until we got there). They provided snacks and drinks of all kinds throughout the day, specialty soaps, and a full library of books and games. They even have fast wi-fi, personal mini-fridges, and a selection of movies -- none of which you might expect in such a secluded spot on a tree-covered hill in rural New Hampshire. We stayed at the Coppertoppe Inn for 4 nights in the middle of September. The house, the rooms, the property and the view were magnificent. We miss being able to look over the lake and mountains while sipping our morning coffee. The breakfasts were very good and original. The creativity of the meals was suprising, as was the good conversations had at the table. We were treated like family, and on almost all of the mornings, breakfast lasted well over an hour. The rooms are well kept and very comfortable. We felt at home the entire time we were there. Bill and Sheila go well out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing seems to be out of reach for them as long as you let them know. They were very resourceful and knowledgeable about local attractions, parks, and especially restaurants. We would recommend the Coppertoppe Inn to any & all people looking for a quiet getaway.

The rooms were spacious and lovely, with great decor that was coordinated without being overly matchy matchy. The food was also wonderful. My partner and I spent a long, lazy weekend at the Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat in Hebron in May 2009 and could not have been more pleased with our decision. The owners, Sheila and Bill, were some of the warmest people we have ever met, and the accommodations could not have been better. From the gorgeous house on an amazing overlook of Newfound Lake, to the fantastic and accommodating meals, to the theraputic evenings spent under the stars in their jacuzzi, I can't have imagined a better weekend.

This inn has a wonderful homey feel. Bill and Sheila waited on us hand and foot. We never had to leave the grounds for anything. Sheila is a gourmet chef and made a fantastic meal every course! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Truly in a world class by itself,a cut above any other B&B I have stayed in, both in Europe and in the US. As a business traveler this B&B offered excellent service at a affordable rate for the business traveler. Wireless internet was available 24hrs a day which made keeping up with business needs easy. I would recommend this B&B to any traveler.

Our trip was planned at the last minute, and yet Sheila & Bill did an excellent job of catering to us. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have all the amenities (I mean ALL amenities. You really only need to bring a change of clothes!!). Breakfast was great, and the Inn offers a breathtaking view of Newfound lake. Thanks to Sheila & Bill we even had the opporuntity to sit around a camp fire on our 2nd night. They were most welcoming to us, and our dog. We will definitely be back in the future!!

The major reasons I stay at a bed and breakfast are I enjoy good service and I like to feel that I have escaped my everyday life. The Innkeepers, Sheila and Bill of the Coppertoppe Inn provided this experience for me during my stay in August 2008. The Inn is situated on a mountain overlooking Newfound Lake. The view is spectacular and the Inn felt like a quiet retreat from everyday life. They were very accommodating provided information such as directions and information about local tourist sights. The rooms were immaculate, the breakfasts were delicious and made to order. The outdoor hot tub with views of the lake and the stars at night guaranteed sweet dreams and a restful sleep! Best of all the innkeepers enjoy good conversations and meeting people from around the world. I brought a friend travelling from Paris who was very happy with our stay. I have already book my next visit!

CopperToppe came at the end of a 10-day mini-tour of New England and was the perfect finish for our trip. Sheila and Bill anticipated and provided any need or wish we might have -- they even provided dinner when we found it difficult to locate any nearby restaurant that would accept out little dog with us. The place is kept immaculate, the rooms are gorgeous and very generously furnished, and the full breakfasts are terrific. CopperToppe is in a great location to explore the New Hampshire Lakes District and the White Mountains. We'd be very pleased to stay there again.

This is a magnificent B&B. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have all the amenities +.The views of the lake and mountains are simply beautiful and breathtaking. The innkeepers are gracious and accomodating. The food is prepared with love and is thoughtfully prepared in a healthy manner. Coppertoppe Lodge and Retreat Center once again provided the perfect place for a retreat. This is our 3rd trip back and we're already planning another. The hosts, Bill and Sheila, are always amazingly hospitable and gracious. The meals are wonderful. The view is great. Everything is relaxing. Coppertoppe is my favorite place to get away.

What a wonderful overnight we just experienced in the Garnet room at the Coppertoppe! We wanted to enjoy some family time with our small children and our expectations were far exceeded. The friendly atmosphere, so child-friendly and welcoming, the beautiful, spacious suite (a whole 1/2 of the top floor of the house!) and luxurious bath, the massive king bed w/carved posters, the amazing views of the lake, the yummy breakfast cooked to our tastes, it was all wonderful. We are truly refreshed and look forward to our return. Truly a hidden gem.
