Inn at Danbury and Alphorn Bistro blending modern comfort with old world cuisine in a traditional New England Country Inn. The Inn is designed for those seeking a time away from the usual in friendly surroundings. Located 5 minutes from Ragged Mountain Resort and 10 minutes from Newfound Lake. The Inn's original 1850s farmhouse has been added onto and upgraded to include 14 rooms and a separate modular home, for couples and families, all with private baths. Their award winning German/Swiss/Austrian restaurant is located in the post-and-beam dining room with a wood burning stove. Many common area's are available for you to enjoy a living room with fire place and a TV/VCR; library; sunporch; indoor heated swimming pool.

From Boston take I-93 to exit 23, follow route 104 West (left)to Bristol, in Bristol rte 104 turns left at the light. We are 10 minutes on rte 104 from there on the right
From NYC take I-91 to I 89 South take exit 17 and follow route 4 to Danbury approx 40 minutes. In Danbury turn left on route 104, inn will be on left side 1/8 mile - Nearest major airport: Manchester, NH (MHT) 50 miles

From Logan International (BOS) (2hrs) or Manchester, NH (MHT) (1 hr) take I-93 North to exit 23, follow route 104 West ( Left) to Bristol, at light in Bristol route 104 continues to left. we are 10 minutes on rte 104 on right.

Our modular home is located right here on our property. There are 3 bedrooms. 1 (one) Queen with private half bath 1(one) Queen and 1 with two twin beds. There is a full kitchen, stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes for cooking, a living room with a queen sofa sleeper, TV with DVD player and a full bathroom. There are 2 roll away beds available the cottage can sleep up to 10 people. NO MORE THAN 10 ALLOWED AT ANY TIME
The Quad (Family Room) sleeps four and rates range from $135 to $155 per night.

This traditional favorite from Austria and Germany is our most sought after dish in the Restaurant by people of all ages.
Tender Veal breaded and pan fried to perfection, served with a lemon on top and acompanied by Red Cabbage and Spaetzle.

Policies - Minimum stay required (2 nights on busy weekends, holidays, foliage and ski holidays)
- Smoking is not allowed (Outside smoking away from property)
- Limited accommodations for guest pets ($15 per night pet charge, small dogs in kennels only)
- Limitations on children staying (8 & up in Inn. Cottage no age limit. Rooms sleep up to 8)
- No childcare is provided
- Deposit amount required (50% of total stay or 1 night lodging)
- Check in time is 3 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
Due to the intimate size of our Inn cancellations affect us significantly. 30 days deposit refunded less $25.00 service charge. Less than 30 days issue of letter of credit for future stay. 48 hours full stay is due. No shows will be billed for full stay. Early departure billed for full stay - Accepted by the following agencies:
