Our youngest Golden Retriever Molly and Artist Claude Monet inspired one of our most popular rooms. This flower-adorned room will bring a smile to your face and peace to your heart just like Molly our garden-loving pup.
This romantic room is the perfect place to rollover for romance, reading or just some much-needed rest.
This spacious two-bedroom suite consists of the Garden Trellis Room and the Canopy Room. Perfect for family or a group of friends. Warm and welcoming it’s sure to make for an enjoyable stay.
Former President Franklin D. Roosevelt once occupied this historically rich uniquely decorated room. Although FDR had many dogs during his lifetime, Fala was the most famous. He was a Scottish terrier born on April 7, 1940, and given to FDR by Mrs. Augustus Kellogg of Westport, Connecticut. Fala's full name was "Murray the Outlaw of Fala Hill," and after going to live at the White House on November 10, 1940, he became the President's constant companion.
This room was named for our oldest Golden Retriever. Meghan truly loves the outdoors including hiking, swimming, and just being silly.
This room is perfect to curl up with a warm quilt and take a nap. You can also enjoy a great book from our collection. This room comfy as a quilt.
This quaint, cozy room offers all the warmth and delightfulness of a New England Inn also includes a welcoming sitting area where you and your pal can read a good book or just relax.

My favorite part about this place is that the breakfast is outstanding!! Yes, you can't sleep in if you want to eat breakfast, it is only served from 8-9:30am. But its worth waking up for!! Steven and Lauren are both so sweet, just really great people, who love dogs. Their dogs, Mack and Molly, are also sweethearts! The bed in the room I was in was a little small for two people (plus a dog), as it is a double not a queen. Otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful with mountains in the landscape. Overall, a great experience. Already planning my next trip back!!

When they say dog friendly, they mean it! I stayed here recently and it was a great experience. Steve, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful. He helped find local hikes that were dog-friendly and several great restaurants. The only downside to the stay wasthat our room had a shared bathroom. Other than that, everything was great and I will stay here again.

We celebrated my pup's 3rd birthday at the Lazy Dog Inn. This was our first and certainly not last visit! To give you an idea of how welcoming it is... When we travel he is reluctant to let me out of his sight. At the Lazy Dog Inn, despite having his cozy dog bed and blanket all set up in the lovely Country Dog Room, someone decided he'd prefer to sleep on the couch in front of the (gas) fireplace in the living room. Can't think of another "dog-friendly" place where this would be alliowed, never mind welcomed!

We were the only people at the inn and we were treated with exceptional service. The host and hostess were warm and hospitable and there wasn't anything that we were in need off. They gave us great advice about everything we asked. We would recommend the inn again and can't wait to get back to it real soon.

In fact, just plain friendly. Great for the dogs and their people, too. We stay with Steve and Lauren whenever we are in the area. They are warm and helpful hosts who have managed to think of everything needed for the comfort of their guests, both furry and otherwise.

By far our guest’s favorite breakfast item. Freshly baked homemade bread and locally grown blueberries. An unforgettable delight.
