    The Sutton House was built in the 1860's for Eliza Sutton as a tourist home in Center Harbor overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. The B&B has recently been remodeled to include seven large guest rooms all with private baths. Lake views abound from most public and private rooms. A swimming pool for guests has also been installed (located on the hill behind the House with great views of the Lake). The result is that Sutton House guests will enjoy the ambiance of a seasoned victorian structure while having the pleasure of staying in 'brand new' B&B rooms.

    I found the Sutton House to be a lovely place, well appointed and perfectly located in Center Harbor. We enjoyed the pool and the views of the lake. Breakfast was a very good cheese souffle. I would stay there again.

    Called to book a room for one night. Was quoted a price. When it came time to check out was charged a higher price and told she didn't take credit cards. She had given us no advance notice. Luckily we had a checkbook.
