Our weekend at the B Street B&B was both memorable and highly informative. I would not hesitate to repeat should we ever be in the area again.

This was a very nice B&B. Nicely decorated and a cute historic house. Breakfast was very tasty, but way too much food. Only thing I would have changed is having a king instead of queen size bed, which is often not available at any B&B. We would definitely go back and stay at this B&B.

This is our second stay at the B Street House Bed & Breakfast, and we were delighted with our room, the hosts and the food. We were unexpectedly delayed on our arrival date, and called to notify Chris and Carolyn. Even though we showed up close to 9:00 pm, they were at the front door, welcoming us, helping us to find a quick place to eat, and serving coffee and cookies! The bed is so comfortable, the house was quiet, and we woke to the smell of fresh coffee and a scrumptious breakfast! Everything was perfect, and we will be back the very next opportunity we get.

I recently spent a magical evening at Chris and Carolyn's gorgeous inn, on a solo overnight getaway, and their graciousness and hospitality cannot be overstated. Carolyn and Chris greeted me with sweet homemade treats and lemonade upon check-in, and I loved hearing her fascinating overview of the house's history. I stayed in the lovely and very comfortable V&T Railroad Room, which (along with the rest of the inn) is decorated wonderfully with vintage pieces and other historical items. I was able to put my feet up and just relax after a delicious dinner at Cafe Del Rio (Carolyn's recommendation!). Breakfast was beyond amazing, with Carolyn providing special consideration for my vegetarian diet, and the portions so bounteous I didn't need to eat lunch that day. It was fun chatting with my fellow guests too. I've traveled all over the world and rarely have I been so enchanted. Chris and Carolyn have truly considered every detail, and the result is absolute perfection. Highly highly recommend!

This was our third year at B Street. Chris and Carolyn are great hosts. The house is beautifully restored and just a few doors down from Pipers Opera house, where the Steampunk Ball is held every September. The rooms are well appointed and have full ensuite bathrooms.. The breakfasts are three course meals, always deliciousand way more than we can eat. We will be back next year!

We loved our stay with Carolyn and Chris. This quaint house has a wonderful history and adds to the rich experience of Virginia City. We relaxed outside in the garden with iced tea and lemonade before taking in the historic district. The sun room/parlor is wonderful for coffee and chatting before breakfast. The food was perfect, Carolyn is truly an artist in the kitchen. We highly recommend the B Street House!

Wonderful place to stay. Rooms were wonderfully decorated, comfortable, modern baths and historic rooms. Breakfasts were creative, delicious and nutritious. Hosts were friendly, interested, helpful & attentive; were engaged. And they are the restorers of the house. Beautifully restored. Close to downtown so within walking distance to everything. Highly recommended.

Can you hear the whistle of the Virginia & Truckee Railroad? Facing west, this spacious guest room boasts a large window with expansive views of towering Mount Davidson. When the sun sets, listen carefully for coyotes in the hills around town. Decorated in the restful colors of Nevada sage, you may even view the sagebrush on the hills west of town from this room. This is our second-largest room and holds an armoire for clothes, queen-sized bed with high-quality linens, free wifi, private bathroom, and furnishings in historic Louis XV style.
