The inn features three guest rooms upstairs in antique furniture, with private baths, a full gourmet breakfast in the parlor, free wifi, private in-room thermostat for heat/AC, luxury amenities, off-street parking, afternoon tea time, fresh fruit and snacks 24/7, and sleeping on a cloud comfort. The guest rooms are accessible via the original staircase. The historic Henry Piper home is now listed on the National Register of historic places.
The Sam Davis room is our largest guest room. Fronting on B Street, the huge picture window provides the famed 100-mile view of Virginia City and central Nevada. Decorated in blue with Eastlake furniture, the room has a private bathroom, sitting area, free wifi, antique armoire and queen-sized bed with “sleeping on a cloud” comfort with high-quality linens. Named for Samuel Post Davis, a guest in this house in 1878, you will enjoy the spacious charm of this ample guest room.
Uncle Henry would have enjoyed this coziest of rooms decorated in rose red. This room features a sky light to help you enjoy the starry night sky and northern Virginia City views. This room overlooks the gardens. A clothes armoire, queen-sized bed with high-quality linens and bedding, and, of course, private bath, tub/shower combo, will make your stay a comfortable and relaxing one.
Can you hear the whistle of the Virginia & Truckee Railroad? Facing west, this spacious guest room boasts a large window with expansive views of towering Mount Davidson. When the sun sets, listen carefully for coyotes in the hills around town. Decorated in the restful colors of Nevada sage, you may even view the sagebrush on the hills west of town from this room. This is our second-largest room and holds an armoire for clothes, queen-sized bed with high-quality linens, free wifi, private bathroom, and furnishings in historic Louis XV style.

Beautiful house very comfortable and relaxing. Right away you feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were spaces and large. The beds very comfortable. Breakfast was beyond words, it was so good. The house brings you back in the past.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe this establishment. It was far and away the best place we have stayed in a very long time. A really warm welcome and buckets full of hospitality. The renovation of this property is superb and an absolute credit to the owners for all the hard work they have put in. Every detail has been well thought through to transport us back in time. It's impossible to find any fault at all with B St. House and I can be very picky!! Carolyn's baking and breakfasts do little to help the waistline but my goodness, they are delicious.

We stayed at 4 different B & B's during our recent trip, and this was the only one we can rate as outstanding in every detail. From the wonderful restoration that Chris and Carolyn have achieved through the fantastic level of hospitality that they give, this is a real gem. We will definitely visit again.

Hearty Miners' Pancakes
Comstock miners liked to make pancakes, rather than bread, as an easier choice for using flour. Our Hearty Miners' Pancakes combine healthy grains with nuts and fresh fruit for an unforgettable combination. We're sure the old time miners would have loved these pancakes. Served with berry compote and syrup choices.
