Fabulous Charm in a Small Town

    April 28, 2013

B Street House was a very big surprise to me. I always judge a B&B or Hotel by the coffee. If the coffee isn't good, it's likely the food won't be either. Both the food and coffee at the B Street House was some of the best I've ever had. The house it's self is beautiful, but to see what Chris and Carolyn have done to restore it is amazing. The Victorian detail they've restored is wonderful. My room was very comfortable and clean. The Innkeepers are very knowledgeable about the history of Virginia City and had great stories to tell. B Street is a wonderful place to stay. Jackie V

    An Outstanding Stay

    November 03, 2012

Although we live close by in Reno, it was a fun getaway for us to stay at the B Street House. We were delighted by the innkeepers, Carolyn and Chris, as they were so friendly and helpful during our stay. The restored house was very quaint and lovely and we loved our room (Sam Davis). We already look forward to our next stay at the B Street House next spring!

One night charmer in VA City

    October 22, 2012

We were the only guests for the night and had a very quiet restful night. The breakfast was fantastic and very filling. When we first booked a room I thought the house looked small but once inside it really opens up. The bedrooms are very spacious. Nice touches include special soaps, and chocolats on the night stand. I would definately stay again.

    Extraordinary!

    October 22, 2012

Chris and Carolyn are the ultimate innkeepers. We were treated with extraordinary hospitality. The surroundings are completely authentic and lovely. Our room was so beautiful and cozy, and like the entire home, clean and neat as a pin. The breakfasts were outstanding, absolutely gourmet! We were spoiled and loved every minute of it. We can't wait to return. Thank you Chris and Carolyn for an amazing experience. Linda and Ira Gever

    Very Cosy

    October 13, 2012

There is no doubt we will be staying at the B Street House B&B on all our visits to Virginia City and surrounding areas (short drive to Reno, Carson City and not far from Lake Tahoe). Wonderful host and hostess, beautiful restored home and easy walking access to all Virginia City has to offer.

    Hearty Miners' Pancakes
Comstock miners liked to make pancakes, rather than bread, as an easier choice for using flour. Our Hearty Miners' Pancakes combine healthy grains with nuts and fresh fruit for an unforgettable combination. We're sure the old time miners would have loved these pancakes.
