    This apartment can be found on a small street opposite the Royal Palace on Dam Square, right in the centre of Amsterdam. An ideal base for your holiday, just minutes from all that this wonderful city has to offer. Central Station 5 min walk , Anne Frank house 5 min walk Canal district 2 min walk , Rembrandt Square 5 min walk, Red Light district 4 min walk , High street shopping 2 min walk This area surrounding Dam Square consists of a series of canals, and small streets where driving is grately restricted making it a walkers and cyclists paradise . It is well served by cafe's , Bars, supermarkets , Restaurants , Antique and gift shops . Dam Square is also a venue of many festivals and entertainment events through out the year . The apartment consists of one bedroom with a large double bed ,one shower room and a living room with kitchenette . The kitchenette is only suitable for the preparation of snacks and light meals , it has a fridge , a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities . This apartment has a no smoking policy . This apartment is located on the first floor of an old monument building and is accessed by the original stair case which is steep and narrow , It may be unsuitable for people of advanced years , or people with a disability .

    The apartment is lovely and very comfortable for its position. well maintained and clean. no hair dryer and radio as written, but they are very nice and helpful if you need anything.

    Decided to spend last couple of day of my holidays in Amsterdam. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, location great with in walking distance of dam square, red light district, shopping. Clean and tidy comfortable apartment, and resonalbly priced,owner kevin most helpful. Thanks a million Trisha (Ireland)

    I stayed along with my wife for our 1 year anniversary and must admit my wife was very unsure if not staying a hotel would be a problem. But we cannot speak highly enough of the owner Kevin, whom was extremely helpful over email and the phone and the apartment itself. The location was perfect we were able to walk everywhere, Anne Frank House, Van Gough Museum, Canals, Red Light District and Dam Square was under 60 seconds away. The bed was big and comfy and the lounge spacious, I’ve not stayed in an Amsterdam hotel but hear the rooms are quite small, but I had not complaints about this apartment. During your visit you spend very little time in a hotel and I don’t feel the high rates changed a justified therefore this was an excellent find, would definitely come back and stay and have recommended to all friends and family who are planning a trip to Amsterdam.
