  • Bedroom/living room with wardrobe, flat screen tv (plus DVD player) and dining/writing table. The studio (including private bathroom/toilet and kitchenette) is heated through floor heating and in summer there will be a fan for your comfort.
    Comfortable king size bed (or twin beds), wardrobe and dining table with several chairs. Flat screen TV, DVD player and DVDs are also provided.
    Powerful rain shower and separate hand shower. Shower gel and shampoo are also provided.
    Completely renovated private bathroom/toilet with rain shower, wash basin and including floor heating.
    Kitchenette with microwave, fridge, small cooker, all basic kitchen utensils and electic kettle. The fridge will be well-stocked with local products for your breakfast; fresh rolls, orange juice, fruit and boiled eggs are served every morning at a time you choose. Upon request a special cooked breakfast (various styles) is served for a small fee. NB: we will do your washing up for you every day!
    Classic entrance of the canal house 'In de Lely' from 1700. Bees B and B is located on the 1st floor (2 flights of stairs like this) at the back of the house - so perfect peace and quiet in your private studio. NB: sorry, if you have any serious mobility problems, this B and B is not suitable for you!
    On the canal on which you will find Bees B and B: Leliegracht and the corner with Keizersgracht, one of Amsterdam's major canals.
    The canal on which Bees B and B is located: the Leliegracht, one of the most tranquil and romantic canals of Amsterdam! Leliegracht has many waterside café's, restaurants and quaint shops. It also crosses the major canals: the Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht.
    Queens Day celebrations (30 April 2012) on the Leliegracht at the crossing of the Keizersgracht, just outside your front door at Bees B and B! Also, Dam Square and the lovely Jordaan area are only minutes away.

    Bees B&B: a cosy, very comfortable studio on one of the most romantic and tranquil canals of Amsterdam: the Leliegracht. From the picturesque Leliegracht it is just a few minutes quiet stroll to for example the Anne Frank House on the Prinsengracht, the famous Nine Streets with their quaint shops and Dam Square in the heart of Amsterdam! Picture yourself staying right in the middle of this Amsterdam world heritage location. NB: also check out our reviews on TripAdvisor. Just around the corner you find the quite rightly much celebrated area the Jordaan with many cosy, beautiful old brown cafes, restaurants from around the world, waterfront terraces, large variety of shops and, often less familiar, peaceful courtyards. All other attractions like Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein, the famous art museums, the Red Light and Nieuwmarkt area are within easy walking or biking distance or easily reached by public transport. The Amsterdam Canal bus stops around the corner, on the Keizersgracht. Bees B&B offers a beautifully renovated studio with all modern comforts in a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king size OR twin bed with private bathroom, toilet and kitchenette. The kitchenette contains a fridge, microwave, small cooker and of course coffee- and tea making facilities. The fridge will be well-stocked, including fine products from the nearby local (farmers’) markets for your breakfast (also: fresh rolls, orange juice, fruit, and eggs are served every morning at a time you choose), which is all included in the studio rate. NB: there is a minimum of 3 nights' stay (unless there is a gap of just 2 nights)!

    We booked on line. Having no idea what to expect, when we arrived it was a lovely surprise. The room was clean, warm and very functional. The owners were so hospitable sitting us down to coffee and a chat when we first arrived which was lovely after travelling for 30 hours. It felt like visiting with friends. Breakfasts were more than enough, delicious and we felt well looked after. I loved that we had our own space. I would recommend this accommodation to others. Paul and Irene

    Bees Bed and Breakfast

    Very good location - close to downtown and Anne Frank house (both walking distance). The frig was well stocked and the breakfast was well worth waiting for. Room was light and airy - very modern - a bit on the compact side, but understandable since it was close to downtown. My hosts were welcoming, charming and helpful. I would stay there again.

    This is a very friendly and welcoming B&B, in the perfect location. Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast of fruit, croissants, rolls, ham and cheese. The bed is comfortable and the room spotless. It is only a short walk from the tram stop and within easy distance of the main tourist attractions. We had a perfect week in Amsterdam staying at Bees B&B.

    A perfect B&B

    My wife and I stayed at Bees B&B for 3 nights in April 2010. The canal house is situated in a beautiful part of the Jordaan area. The room was very clean, had recently installed bathroom and kitchen facilities and the fridge was stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast each morning. On top of this warm bread rolls, freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit cocktail were delivered to our door every day. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, hob, pots, pans and all utensils you might need. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. We have been to Amsterdam many times before and stayed in hotels and apartments across the city. Bees B&B is by far the best accomodation we have visited in Amsterdam. The owners are friendly and helpful and will be receiving more bookings from us in the future.

      From Amsterdam Central Station: (a) on foot it takes about 10 to 15 minutes; (b) you can take tram 13 or 17 and get off at stop Westermarkt/Westerkerk (about a 5 minute tram ride), turn back a little and walk to the left down Keizersgracht (do not cross the main road) and within a few minutes to your right on a canal is the Leliegracht and Bees B&B is at number 30, in a canal house named 'In de Lely'; and (c) a taxi will take you to Leliegracht in about 5-10 minutes and will cost about Euro 10-15 (make sure the taximeter is on!). By car: we will send you parking instructions on where to park for Euro 6 per day, only 10 minutes away with free public transport tickets to Bees B&B.
