I always try to select private B&B`s when I travel, and this time I have booked a room at B&B BORNEO. How great it was! 9unfortunately, the first night was at a hotel, as B&B was not vacant, but the review of that skunky hotel will be another story...) First: location. 12 minutes by bus from teh central station, in a very quiet residental area, fresh area, possibility to swim, if one wants to. Second: the room. Separate room with ensuite bathroom and a big private open-air terrace with armchairs and a table with chairs and lots of flowers - great way to have breakfast in the morning and to relax in the evening, which we did. Third: the hosts - Milly and Nico. Where else would one find such amazing informal and kind attitude?? Milly and Nico are warm-hearted and very sociable, and it seemed that I have met them before. 4th: breakfast. This issue deserves a seperate review, I guess.... I bet if you try to find a better breakfast somewhere you`ll fail. yeah, I mean it. Delicious, various sorts of cheese, fruit (fresh pakistan mango and strawberries.. mmmm.....) If one ever decides to go to Amsterdam - do nt ohesitate to stay at borneo B&B, do not owaste your money for luxury hotels charging mainly for their trademark!
