    We have in our house available the GARDENROOM a comfortable double room on the ground floor, and a luxurious apartment DESIGN APARTMENT on the 2nd floor. Our mansion from 1881 is located in a secure, green, residential area next to the river Amstel, with its cafes, restaurants and terraces on its banks.       * Just outside the historical center and its bustle, in a quiet, safe, green, residential area, (no thru-traffic) on the banks of the River Amstel * Shops, supermarket (08-22h), ATM around the corner. Restaurants, cafes and terraces along the river bank * And four very good restaurants in close proximity: Ysbreeker, Le Holandais, Trouw and Rijsel * A brisk walk or a short drive brings you to the historic center in minutes. Its canals. Its museums. Its parks. Its markets. Its "China Town. Its "Latin Quarter * Parking a car in our street is easy and safe, but very expensive. As in all Amsterdam up to 6.00 euros per hour! Best bet is to park your car in the parking P + R Bijlmer Arena (6.00 euros/24hrs) and take the subway into the city.

      ARRIVING AT SCHIPHOL AIRPORT Allow two hours after touch-down at Schiphol Airport to get to our house. After the formalities continue to the Schiphol Railway Station. Which is in the main building-BEWARE OF PICK-POCKETS AND AVOID TAXIS (both will cost you dearly). Buy a single ticket at the counter (3.80 euro 2nd class) destination Amsterdam Centraal. At half the price of a 1st class ticket (6.50 Euro), that slot machines offer. Train leaves every 15 minutes. Trip takes 15 minutes. ARRIVING AT AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL STATION Go to the Tourist Information Center in front of Amsterdam Centraal, buy electronic tickets (OV-chipcard) for 24/48/72 hours (á 7.50 / 12.00 / 16.00 / euro etc. ...) and you can travel all day on all lines, subway, bus or tram within the city of Amsterdam. METRO: At Amsterdam Centraal, you can board all subway trains (51,53,54) on the platform, they will bring you all in our direction. Leave the metro at the 4th stop: WIBAUTSTRAAT Exit: GRENSSTRAAT. At street level: Left, Left, Right: BURMANSTRAAT in minutes. Ring the bell at number 10: BB10! And we are there if you have notified the exact time of your arrival
