Oft’s Bed & Breakfast is located in the small farm community of Bennington located a few miles northwest of Omaha, Nebraska. The home is on the National Register of Historic Places and received the "Hidden Treasure 2012" award from Heritage Nebraska. The B&B features two upstream bedrooms, both with private baths in a classical Queen Anne house built in 1910. Enjoy beverages and home cooked snacks during your stay and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. During warm weather, quests often choose to enjoy a book, visit or simply watch the goldfish in the lily pond from the wrap-around porch or their balcony. Located only minutes from downtown Omaha, the home offers a relaxing setting in a historical home.

Linda and Gordon are wonderful hosts. We stayed on 1/6/13 and had a wonderful stay. The home is a historical turn of the century home full of rich history and character. We stayed in the larger room which had a private bathroom. The other room available has an unattached private bathroom down the hallway. That bathroom has a claw foot tub and older pull-chain toilet. (Very neat!) We awoke in the morning to a fresh pot of coffee and a deliciously prepared breakfast. It was a great way to spend our 9 year anniversary. Thank you for a fabulous stay! Immaculately clean turn of the century home, gourmet breakfasts, each one a delight for the 6 mornings I woke up to fresh coffee and the smiles of Linda and Gordon Mueller, 4th generation owners of Oft's B & B. My room was delightful, with a fully appointed bathroom a few steps down the hall. Gordon and Linda made my stay a real treat, and their many small kindnesses added up to a wonderful experience. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars I give them a 10!!! They absolutely care about you as an individual, and do all they can to make your stay as comfortable and inviting as possible. Oh, and the sheets are both thick and soft. another bonus!!

I had a great two night stay! Gordon and Linda make you feel comfortable and at home in their lovely house. Definitely the best place to stay if you're in the area. Take time to enjoy the delicious food and good conversation at breakfast. I have no complaints!

On our way south from our home in Minnesota to the South Platte River and the Sandhill Crane migration, we spent a night at Oft's, and were treated to a wonderful stay. Gordon and Linda were the perfect hosts, the room was impeccable and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The home and its contents are extraordinarily interesting and lovingly preserved. Next time we are in the vicinity, Oft's will be a destination, not just a way station...
