This was certainly one of my best stays in the US. Doc and his assistant Tracy are adorable people, very friendly and helpful. The house is indeed charming, especially embedded in the rustic setting of the NC mountains. I truly wish I were able to stay longer. Hope to come back there some time soon.
You are so very welcome. It is always a special pleasure to welcome our guests to Buffalo Tavern. Thanks for your most wonderful review!

Doc's Creamy Peach-Filled French Toast
This is a delicious French toast variation that needs NO syrup of any kind! It's served piping hot with warm peaches. I always include a salty sidedish--bacon, or country ham, for instance. Guests love my French toast. I also serve delicious and piping hot stratas of various kinds, biscuits and sausage gravy, omlettes and fresh fruits, and, sometimes, family style! Come to Buffalo Tavern and let me serve you!
