Friendly, convenient location but needs upgrading

2.8 on December 05, 2014

The owner was friendly and welcoming. Although we arrived a bit earlier than check-in time, they quickly finished preparing the room for us. Breakfast was good and filling, nothing fancy but fresh eggs, bacon and fruit juices. The room was a disappointment. The heating vent was blowing cold air right onto our heads at night. The knob in the bathroom sink would come off. The bedroom and the bathroom in which we stayed definitely need upgrading as they are old. Perhaps the owner is planning to do this already, which would make the place good value for money.

Cozy little place

3.0 on December 05, 2014

The Grandview Lodge is a very cozy little place in what feels like the middle of nowwhere. We appreciated the silence and the fireplace in our room very much. The host was accomodating, cooked breakfast for us in the morning and gave us tips about what to do, eat and see in the nearby town.

Home Away from Home

4.6 on November 18, 2014

We were pleasantly surprised by the feel & hospitality at Grandview Lodge. Our hosts were delightful & our breakfasts were delicious using local ingredients. Very reasonably priced for quality of room & amenities on the property :-) Conveniently located to food & local attractions, yet a wonderful rural feel. We didn't get to utilize firepit because we were worn out from our daily outings & our Son was on a walker recouping from a broken femur. Our room was handicapped accessible & if weather had been a little warmer we would have utilized the rockers on the covered porch outside our room. We will definitely return to this cozy yet spacious property. Comforts of home yet a camp-like feel conducive to meeting other guests...glamping :-)

Awesome Lodge

My boyfriend and i stayed here for our anniversary. It has the perfect cabin feel surrounded by mountains. And the owners were awesome plus the food was very good. We highly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.

Colors in the fall

5 on November 01, 2014

Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, I must say that Grandview exceeded our expectations in every way. The breakfast was spectacular, location superb, beds were comfy, and the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. We missed breakfast the second day because we had to catch our flight :-( I'm sure Jeffery whipped up something tastey though. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to spending more time there next time we are in the mountains. Thanks Jeffery and Bree, Ya'll are doing great.

Personal and Comfortable

4.8 on October 25, 2014

Hardworking owners of this B&B who obviously enjoy spending time with their patrons. We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple, tasty, and felt like home-cooked meal. I wish we could have stayed longer.
