    Grandview

    June 13, 2013

We stayed in the Cottage. The floors were a bit dirty as was one of the bathtubs. Some excessive dust in a few places where the cleaning crew missed. Nothing too terrible though. The place was huge with plenty of room to spread out. Service and dining were great. Neighborhood is a little sketchy but the Lodge itself was overall at or slightly above my expectations.

    Grandview Lodge Cottage

    June 10, 2013

The cottage was beautiful! Terry was wonderful and gave us great directions to get around as well as suggestions of things to do during our stay. We went fishing one morning and were able to grill the fresh fish at the cottage for dinner. The drives and hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway were breathtaking. This was a perfect getaway.

Tom was very nice and welcoming. Very nice location to get away and relax. Rooms and bed linens looks outdated. Breakfast could be more robust with more varieties. Overall, very pleasant and we had a great time in the area.

    Warm place, warm people

    May 19, 2013

This is a wonderful lodge at a very fitting place--in the foothills of green hills by the small creek. People were exceptionally nice and personable to make sure you had all your request granted so that you can have a memorable time. A little extra effort on the cleanliness of the dinning area and wi-fi in all rooms would make this an ideal lodge at an ideal place!

    Cousin's Retreat

    April 17, 2013

One word: Excellent!!! The cottage was exactly what my cousins and I were looking for. Each year, we decide on a place that the 8 of us can celebrate who we are, this year it was Waynesville. What marvelous hospitality!
