The 1890's farm style home on 3 acres features 11 deluxe, country rooms with private baths and a 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage with full kitchen. Our lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage has a large kitchen with pantry and a dining area which seats 6 comfortably. The living area has a trundle bed, sofa, two leather chairs and an entertainment center. The master bedroom is off the dining area, has a king-size bed and has a wrap-a-round window which makes it light and bright. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has a queen 4-posted bed and a sitting area. The second bath is off the living area and has a tub/shower. The cottage is just steps from the lodge.

The Grandview Lodge is an awesome place to stay for the rates this time of year, $80 we paid. It's a small lodge/B&B and they make you feel right at home. Great for couples, good people. They included a sunday brunch with our saturday night stay, normally 14.99 a person. The food was more than excellent.

My sister and I took my mother and her sister to celebrate their 80th and 83rd birthdays. The inn owners and staff went out of their way to make our stay there fabulous! They treated us like royalty. It made for a stay we will never forget!

What a shame, At first glance our room had a nice country charm and was very clean. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and the person on the other side of the wall snored loudly and all night long. It really was as if the person was in bed with me. In addition the room was very cold and there is no thermostat to control temp. One extra blanket for two beds did not help much. Overall, not very restful.

Stayed over for a family weekend at WCU...it was a nice retreat. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the sunday breakfast.

Grandview Lodge is a great place for bringing a dog. There was a separate entrance and lots of space outside to walk.
