We just stayed at the Clichy Inn for a wedding. The house is beautiful, the food was great and Lori is the perfect host. I would highly recommend this B & B. I can't wait to go back. Rita White

Lori is a great host...very welcoming from the moment we got there. Max, the cat, also greeted us. The breakfasts were delicious and more than we could eat. Lori takes care of every detail. Our room was very comfortable. We wish we could have sat on our private balcony but it was too cold.

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Clichy Inn's Bacchus Room, and I can honestly say it was one of our most comfortable stays anywhere, ever! We travel a fair amount, but generally don't sleep well away from home... however we slept like babies here and only dragged ourselves out of bed because we knew what breakfast has to offer...Lori is a terrific cook and her full breakfasts are really something to look forward to -- one morning we had individual spinach omelets, bacon, home baked apple muffins, fresh fruit, toast and home made jam, juice coffee, tea ....I'm making myself hungry. In addition to being a gifted inn keeper who has really thought about anything you might want or need, Lori is fun to talk to and is a wealth of information on Statesville and the surrounding area. And did I mention that the inn is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated, has ample cozy public space for reading or just relaxing, has a large and lovely yard, etc., etc...? Thanks, Lori -- we'll be back!

My husband and I were exhausted from moving and needed a place to stay en route to our new home. We prefer the comfort of bed and breakfasts, but we had a challenge as we tried to find a place to spend the night - a pet. Lori kindly allowed us to stay in the carriage house overnight and was patient with our unconventional arrival and departure times. The lodgings were pleasant and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.
