The main building sits on top of a secluded hill, overlooking what is seemingly an untouched foothill/mountain landscape. Beautiful grounds compliment every view you take in. The food is delicious, professionally prepared, and kindly served. You really do get an "escape" when you visit here, and I would encourage anyone and everyone to take an opportunity to visit.

I am excited for the opportunity to express my husband's and my delight in experiencing a lovely weekend at The Orchard Inn in Saluda NC. The grounds were bursting with spring flowers as we made our way up the drive. We were met by Murray a lively and entertaining Boxer. Marianne lead us up to our room where we found a plate of cookies at our bedside. The first evening we dined at Newman's, the restaurant located there at the inn. We enjoyed an impeccably prepared and served five course dinner including our dessert. And my goodness, the breakfast could not have been any better the next two mornings of our stay. We will definitely look forward to going back!......Angela Fullwood.

What an amazing getaway! My husband and I went away for our 1 year wedding anniversary. This house is nestled in the mountains with great views. The hosts were friendly and the food was outstanding! They also have dogs and a cat which make an animal lover like me smile. The rooms were very clean and the sheets are absolutely amazing! Definitely would recommend it and would go back!

We enjoyed the privacy of one of the cottages. Breakfast was delicious both mornings! The host took a studio quality photo of us upon our departure. Loved our time at the Orchard Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the Orchard Inn in Saluda, NC for the first time in February 2015; it was everything I had heard it was and more. The owners make you feel so welcome. The inn is quaint and the rooms are comfortable. The food is superb. Breakfast comes with the cost of the room, and the meal overlooking the mountains is so good and such an offering we went without lunch. We had such a fabulous time at the inn we have made reservations to return this December. The town of Saluda has some great places to eat as well, and the townspeople are so nice. For those who like antiques, etc. the town of Landrum is not far away. The Orchard Inn is a must.

Our family has been gathering at the Orchard Inn for over a decade. The past 4 years we've been meeting up for their Annual Dickens Dinner and having an early Christmas. The Inn never disappoints. The hosts are welcoming, the atmosphere charming and the food is fantastic. Marc and Marianne go out of their way to make us feel like family. The place is clean as a whistle and beds comfortable. We look forward to returning in 2015.

What a picturesque occasion! Marc and Marianne welcomed my beautiful wife and I so warmly as they hosted our wedding ceremony. The brisk weather and reminisce of the light snow that crept across the mountains the night before did not halt the accommodations that were set for us. Every last minute detail, itinerary, even meals were so graciously arranged to make our special day run so untroubled and without worry. “So relaxing and peaceful” were the perfect words our 6 year old stated as we read a book and enjoyed the toasty fireplace inside the cozy ‘Boxwood’ cabin. Marianne and her staff put together a fantastic dinner and breakfast menu. The food was exceptional and the service to match. They provided for us a deliciously beautiful wedding cake and sweet sparkling cider to toast our love and joyous future together. Sally, Grayson and I cannot wait to make this an annual destination where intimacy is complimented so perfectly by the splendid surrounding and generous hosts. Thank-you Marc and Marianne!
