Inn Details
Keep an eye our for our cookbook, Flavors of Smokey Shadow, coming out in April! Built in 1953 of native stone, wormy chestnut, and hand-hewn logs, Smokey Shadows is a rustic, country Inn filled with charm and character that you hope to find when you visit the Smokey Mountains. Owned and operated by Bud, Ginger and family for over 29 years, and still loving it! The main lodge has exposed beams that are 20ft high with time polished hardwood floors. As you head to the porch to relax in one of our rockers you will be taken away by the magnificent view that overlooks the magical Smokey Mountains. The main lodge has 12 individual rooms with private baths. We also offer two cabins that are located adjacent to the lodge. The Larger cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is over 100 years old. The smaller cabin sleeps 2 guests. We also offer scrumptious homemade dinners by reservation. Complimentary Continental Breakfast is waiting for you each morning of your stay! Smokey Shadows is open all year round. This is the perfect setting for a family get a way, couples weekend excursion, special occasions such as weddings and family reunions. Any special occasion will become a treasured memory at Smokey Shadows. The Shinn family welcomes you to share their secret of the Smokey Mountains.
