Fabulous stay with Scott and Cara

    August 08, 2011

We stayed at Blue Ridge B and B on our last night of vacation. We had been camping along Skyline Drive and the BlueRidge Parkway for several days and wanted to treat ourselves on our last night. Upon arrival we recieved a warm welcome and tour of the house we knew instantly that we had made the right decision on where to end our vacation. Cara directed us to a lovely winery where we did a tour and and enjoyed a tasting. When we returned Scott had just finished cutting the grass and joined us out on the porch for a few beers. It was great to relax and enjoy drinks and dinner while surrounded by beautiful scenery. Scott and Cara are very interesting people and we enjoyed hanging out and hearing their story, part time in the Keys part time in this lovely B&B. They could not have been nicer and even gave us veggies from their garden before we left. The house was clean and nicely decorated we had everything we needed and then some. We will definately be back again for another visit. I would highly recommed this to couples or friends traveling together. This was a great place to stay the only change I would make is to increase the amount of time we stayed. We stayed for only 1 night next time we will stay for longer : )

    Great

    July 06, 2009

If you want a getaway from the summer heat, this is your place. We opened the windows and slept with a cool mountain breeze in late June all night. But be warned: our cell phones had no service (Verizon), so it was a real getaway from communicating with home.
